"Treat it as a form of investment from me"

"I believe you'll do well"

At a loss for words over Young Saeng's dad's kind gesture, Kyu Jong could 
only bow repeatedly after the older man handed him a cheque and gave him 
a reassuring pat on the shoulder. And he silently thanked the person whom he 
knew was watching over them…

"Komawo hyung"

"Must be too engrossed in his work to notice his phone's ringing…"

Ji Eun grumbled as Kyu Jong failed to answer her phone call again. He had been 
working extremely hard ever since receiving support from Young Saeng's dad.

She decided to make her way over to his apartment with dinner after learning 
from her mum that he was supposed to have dropped by their place. 

The place was dark as she entered and the only source of light was coming from 
the half opened door of his study.

"Oppa, wake up…"

Ji Eun panicked for a moment upon realizing he was not just asleep on his desk 
but running a temperature and attempted to wake him up by lifting him slightly. 

"Ji Eun ah…"

"Kwenchana? I'll help you to your room to get some rest…"

She managed to wake Kyu Jong up and help him back to his room, and proceeded 
to bring his temperature down with the help of some medicine and ice packs.

"Didn't I tell you not to work yourself so hard? Look at what happened… "

Kyu Jong couldn't help but smile at the sight of Ji Eun feeding him porridge and 
nagging at the same time the next morning.

"Yah… why are you smiling?"

"Can I fall sick more often?"

"The brain must be damaged from last night's fever..."

And he received a knock on his forehead for that. 

It wasn't often he'd get fussed over by Ji Eun. Not that she wasn't a caring girlfriend 
but it was during times like this that he gets extra attention and care from her. 

Just having her support, is more than enough to keep him going on.

"Chukahae, Kyu Jong ah…"

Hyun Joong, Jungmin and Hyungjun together with Ji Eun, toasted in celebration 
of Kyu Jong's first major deal closed. 

With the help of these people around him, the poster good looks of his pals 
modeling together with Ji Eun's hidden photography skills, along with some 
clever marketing, the new retail business which he had put months of hard 
work into was finally picking up.

"Are you finally going to take some time off and marry your girl?"

"Aniyo. She doesn't want to marry me"

"Mwoh?"

Ji Eun gave a shrug as the guys looked at her in surprise over Kyu Jong's reply 
while he just smiled. Although they never spoke about it, he knew that Ji Eun 
would like to have the approval of his dad before doing so. 

But he wasn't sure if it was going to happen. At least not for the time being.

"Oppa…"

"Waeyo?"

Kyu Jong asked as he took the papers Ji Eun handed over to him.

"Director of OhGongIl Corp Collapses, Shares Tumble Amid Uncertainty"

He stared at the headlines for several seconds before putting the newspapers 
away and pulling Ji Eun out of his place.

"It's getting late. I'll walk you home"

"Aren't you going to… pay him a visit?"

"He has a group of capable people working for him, he'll do fine"

His dad will have the best medical team treating him. 
The company wouldn't fall because of one person. 
And he wouldn't want to see the son who has disappointed him.

"Oppa, I think he really needs you now..."
