My Tao,

It has been a while since I last saw you. 

I am deeply sorry about my sudden departure, I wish I could tell you why I had to leave, but I can't.

It pains me to keep things from you, to hide certain things about myself and my life, so as much as I want to tell you everything there is to know about my very own existence, my father (and a whole team of doctors and psychiatrists) forbid me to do so.

But there is nothing to worry about.

Please don't worry.

I beg you, don't ask about my family. 

Have you never heard? It was curiousity which killed the cat. And it pains me to have to hide things from you.

Either way, such matters are better left alone. As much as I want you to know about everything, I won't tell you a thing.

But do know that I love you.

Sometimes it's better hiding the truth than knowing it.

My dearest Zitao; Please tell me there is more to us than only mere affection. Because I can't live in a world where we only have that.

As much as two beings love each other, they need to have more than love. 

What about common interests?

Likes and dislikes?

Personality and temper?

If we can't cooperate, then we can't function as a team.

It pains me so much to confess this, I still want us to be together. Forever and always. You and I.

You wouldn't believe how much I enjoy spending time with you.

Never be afraid of spending nights by my side.
