It was Monday. The school bell rang for lunch. You went to your locker first to put your books away.

“Omo!” Girls gasped and moved out of the way in awe.

A hand slammed down on the locker above yours.

You shifted your gaze up to the hand. A familiar black stone ring was on the index finger. You slowly looked up to meet eyes with L. Joe. He grinned down at you, “Hello, friend. Miss me?”
