'Today’s the first day of class. I ran into the classroom and was going to sit in my usual chair, the chair at the back beside the window, but I saw a guy was already sitting there so I just sat next to him. He looked at me and I looked back. Are we having a staring contest? Doesn't he know it's impolite to stare? Hmm... I don’t think I’ve seen him before... Is he new here?

The teacher asked him to stand up and introduce himself. He stood up and scanned everyone before he spoke.

“My name is Kwon Ji Yong, but my friends call me GD.” He said quickly then sat back down.

Ah, Kwon Ji Yong. Ji Yong. That's a nice name. Maybe we could be friends? :D

I looked at him and saw that he sighed in relief. As I was observing him, I couldn’t help but feel attracted to him. The way his blonde hair shone with the sun rays emitting from the window, the way his eyes twinkled, the way- Oh my, the teacher got mad at me for not paying attention.

So, I took one last glance at GD and returned to the lesson Mrs. Tremblay was discussing. Yet I couldn’t help but think of him throughout the whole discussion.'

As I read the first page of her diary. I felt a pang of guilt hit me. She wanted us to be friends... I didn't know. I always avoided talking to her because I was afraid I'd make a fool of myself... Did my eyes really twinkle? I laughed at the thought. I guess it only twinkled whenever I saw Dara... I should continue reading.

'It's only the first day of school and I've already been taken to the Nurse's Office. I wanted to show Ji Yong around but I couldn't breathe properly. Bummer... I had to stay here for the whole day! I feel so bored... Should I doodle? Maybe I could draw a picture of GD and then give it to him! :D'

I looked at the drawing and I couldn't help but smile...

I stared at the drawing. Do I really look like that? Aigoo... Anyways, I turned to the next page.

'Oh my, I can't believe it. The doctor told me the results... I have Arrhythmias. It's a heart disease wherein my heart beats are irregular. It might beat too fast or too slow. I have to be careful or else... I'll die.'

I felt like a bucket of ice has been poured on me. Holy crap! What did I just read!? "I'll die." Those words... Dara, are you dead? Am I too late?
