Love's Signs
Dongho's POV
I finally reached home. I slumped into the couch and stared at space. I thought of the things that happened today. Her looks, her hair, her eyes, her. Min Jee. My heart raced like mad. Then I remembered something.
"Mmm..." I grabbed the book as I flipped onto its first page.
"The truest of all feelings and emotions - being in love is an inexplicable feeling."
So cheesy.
Then I read the first sign.
"First sign: You get butterflies in your stomach."
I smiled as I felt the blood rush to my cheeks.
Ok now for the second.
"Second sign: You find it difficult to take your eyes off of her."
I raised my brow. Maybe? Hm. I put down the book to grab my earphones. What to listen to?
"When Love Stops" I pressed play as my mind drifted away.

Min Jee's POV
I sang my favorite song as I washed the dishes.
"I want you, I need you, I hold you..."
I feel happy and light today. I don't know why. I let out a smile, which Xander noticed.
"Feeling hapy, huh." He said in a plain tone.
"Mmhm..." was all I could say.
"Is it because of Dongho?"
"Well yes, I mean no, I mean-" I stuttered, trying to find the right answer.
"You like him... Hmm... Anyways I'm happy for you!" He faked.
"Thank you, I mean it's not like that-"
"It's okay. I guess I should give up then." Tears formed as he walked away from me.
"Xander!" I tried not to choke on the tears.
"I'm sorry I couldn't look at you the way you look at me."
"It's fine... I guess." He sniffed.
Silence filled the room after that.
And then he finally spoke.
"Yah. I'm leaving tomorrow, just so you know."
"What? Where?"
"I'll be studying abroad now. I'm gonna live with Vicky."
I finally burst into tears and hugged Xander tightly.
"I'm gonna miss you." I tightened my grip even more.
"Me too... Me too..."
He then whispered, "I love you, and it hurts. But I'll try to forget everything."
"I'm sorry." It was the only words I could say. I then broke the hug and we went to sleep.
What a long day.
