17th Squadron
This is a chapter is for explanations ( wow this is the eighth time i've writen this today, and it hasn't worked so far)
Black Wings + Hellcats= squadron 17 ( 'Wings refer to themselves as their own squadron because the often don't fly with the Hellcats)
Black Wings + Hellcats + ShockWaves+ Skymasters + the Wolf Pack+ SparrowHawks+ other unimportant planes = Wing Group 11 ( they don't refer to themselves as this, because they prefer to call each other by their squadron names)

The main image for this is a F-16 Fighting Falcon which the Black Wing squadron flys.
I do suggest that you go and check on the respect plane images if you aren't sure. Just google search the names in the aircraft column in the top table. ASSUME THAT F-16's (in the alternate reality in which this story is set) DO LAND ON CARRIERS.
