- Chanyeol's POV -

I was hoping that he could give a nod, but he looked at me with an absurd look. He asked, "What kind of place is that?" My heart fell as I heard what he said. I shook my head and gave a weak smile, "Nothing.. Its okay." He looked at me as I touched the lamp softly, *The person in front of me. He's like you, Baekhyun. I miss you so much, Baekhyun. Where are you, Baekhyun?*

"Yah.. Chanyeol-ssi.. Are you fine?" He questioned me, with worry hidden in his tone. I nodded and assured him that I was exactly fine. He continued, "Can you tell me about the lamp?"

I nodded, "Sure thing." I began to tell him what happened on that day when I went to EXOPlanet.

- Flashback (in Author's POV) [From Chapt 1 What is Love] -

The doorbell went off again. Chanyeol went to the door and looked at his fangirls who were trying to get into his house. A girl asked shyly, "Oppa.. Can we go into your house? Please....?" Chanyeol nodded with a pissed expression, "You may go in....." All these attention were annoying him day by day. He didn't like being a kingka, or an ulzzang of the school. He just want to study well and graduate. He brought the girls to his room. The girls screamed when they saw Chanyeol's room. Chanyeol rolled his eyes and said bluntly, "Yah..when you girls are done, just leave quietly....arasso?"

He closed his door and left to his attic again. The attic was his favourite getaway when those girls came to his house and flip his room till it looked like it went through a major earthquake. He climbed up the ladder towards the attic and lifted the ledge. He walked into the attic and sat on a box near a window and plugged in his earphones. He smiled and thought, 'This is so peaceful...only if my life could be like this...' 

He looked around and saw something shining at the corner of the room. He walked over to it and picked it up. It was a lamp, and it was shining beautifully. Chanyeol explored the lamp and saw a small dirty spot on the lamp. He rubbed the lamp with his sleeves and smiled when he saw it was clean again. His visions suddenly went black seconds after.

When he reopened his eyes, he realised that he was in an unfamiliar place. It wasn't a house and it wasn't somewhere that he knew either. He stood up from his position and walked around this unfamiliar place. He felt a peaceful aura in this place and it was definitely different from what he feels normally. He took out his phone and tried to locate himself with the built-in GPS. When he couldn't locate it, he gasped, "AM I DEAD OR SOMETHING??!! IS THIS HEAVEN??!!"

He walked further and spotted a beautiful river, it was crystal-clear. As he walked to the river, he saw somebody sitting under a tree, sleeping. He walked nearer and saw this guy with perfect features. He wanted to tap the person, but he was afraid as well. His heart skipped a beat as he saw him sleeping...that guy was just too cute.

When Chanyeol went nearer to the guy, he suddenly snapped his eyes open. He gave Chanyeol a scary-looking stare and asked, "Who are you?" Chanyeol extended his hands and greeted, "This...umm...Hii? I'm Chanyeol.. Its a pleasure to meet you.. Whats your name?" He ignored Chanyeol and looked away. He replied, "I'm Baekhyun, and why are you here? I don't remember you being here." Chanyeol took back his hands and sighed, "I came here suddenly.."

Baekhyun nodded, "Never mind. I shall bring you back to my friends. I think they know why you are here anyway." Baekhyun stood up and walked away. Chanyeol just followed him as he didn't know where he was. Baekhyun brought Chanyeol to a grand-looking mansion, and walked into a living room which was filled with 4 other guys. The shortest guy pointed at Chanyeol and asked, "Baekhyun-ah, who is this?"

Baekhyun just shrugged, "I don't know. Ask him"

Chanyeol started telling them where he was and how he ended up here. Someone walked over and asked, "So you came here through a lamp? Wow, we never had visitors before!!" Chanyeol looked at him weirdly and asked, "But where is this place?"

That guy continued, "Anyway, my name is Kim Jong In, but call me Kai! This place you're at is called EXOPlanet, well yeah! From the name, yes. We are a on a planet."

- Flashback end -

He blinked, "So you met someone whose also called Byun Baekhyun..?" I sighed, "He looks like you too." He smiled, "No wonder you kept looking at me.. I'm sure you can meet him again one day!!" I shrugged awkwardly, "Yeah. I hope so too." Baekhyun suddenly grabbed his head and winced. I flinched, "Yah, Baekhyun.. What's wrong?" He gave a weak smile and shook his head, saying that he's fine.

- Baekhyun's POV -

*What's wrong with me? What's with those images? Who is that?* I suddenly had a throbbing headache, and it was hurting. Flashbacks are playing in my mind like a broken film. Chanyeol asked, "Baekhyun, do you want to take a rest?" I shook my head as the pain was subsiding, "I'm feeling better now.. I guess I would just need some painkiller." *What is this?*

More images flew into my head, this time, it was clearer.

- Flashbacks (excerpts from different chapters in What is Love) -

Chanyeol extended his hands and greeted, "This...umm...Hii? I'm Chanyeol.. Its a pleasure to meet you.. Whats your name?" I ignored Chanyeol and looked away. I replied, "I'm Baekhyun, and why are you here? I don't remember you being here." Chanyeol took back his hands and sighed, "I came here suddenly.."

 Baekhyun was looking at Chanyeol through the viewing gallery from the second floor. He smiled at Chanyeol unknowingly.

"Eat it!! Hyung~" Chanyeol gave Baekhyun puppy eyes, filled with hope. "ah...haha.." Baekhyun put the burnt bacon into his mouth.

"Haha!! Baekhyun...you blushing??" Chanyeol teased. Baekhyun was embarrassed so he stood up and walked out of Chanyeol's room. "Yah!! Baekhyun Hyung!! I'm kidding!!" Chanyeol tried standing up but he landed with a loud thump. 

 "Don't move...Chanyeol. Just let me be like this for a minute. A minute will do. Like just now..." I was wet and i didn't care. We were hugging in the shower. Suddenly, I just feel that we are one. We are zero cm apart. Everything just stay still. Chanyeol's not going anywhere. "Baek....hyu---" Chanyeol's body was warm, I can feel that his heart thumping. I cried. I really can't bear to leave him.

"Hyung! Don't jump down!" Kai called out to me. I shut my eyes as I allowed my cold heart to block out noise and calls made by my friends. I stood at the edge of the cliff, ready to jump down, get to Earth. No matter if I would lose my memories, I am sure I would get to Chanyeol one day. *I need you Chanyeol. Call me selfish.. But I'm sorry, Chanyeol. I am willing to do this for you.*

I looked at Chanyeol and realized that I was the Byun Baekhyun he knew. I was the Byun Baekhyun from EXOPlanet.  I remembered everything. Every single thing that I did with Chanyeol on EXOPlanet. I smiled, *Chanyeol-ah, I finally found you. I'm sorry for not remembering you. It must be hard on you. We really must be fated to be together. That monster. He separated both us. Now I'm not going to let you leave me again.* Chanyeol blinked, "What is it?" I shook my head as I chuckled, "Nothing's wrong." *I guess I should keep  this away from you for a while. I will tell you when I'm ready to tell you. Wait for me, Chanyeol. You know, I love you..*
