I’ve read books about ‘other places’. Alternate universes they call them. There’s Alice and her looking glass world. Wendy with her Neverland. The other Alice’s Wonderland(although they quite share the same concept). The Pevensie’s Narnia. Heaven. Hell. Fictional or not, they strive to prove the multidimensionality of things. And I believe that the world as we know it is just one of the many that possibly exists.
In theory, no person can exist between worlds. It keeps the balance of things. Transcending is a difficult and dangerous power. But it doesn’t mean that it doesn’t exist.
Once every generation, a person is born with the ability to cross worlds and exist in both. It’s not much of a power. But it is an instrument that could mean the destruction of worlds. And he who holds it also holds the secrets of the universe. He who holds it carries the answer.

Foreword
Netherion is the center of space and time - the place beholden of the secrets of everything. It connects the dimensions to each other.
The Kronos Society is a group of Netherion royalty who posses powers that puzzle and frighten both their world and the next. They are called Caomhnoir -guardians. Such responsibility is passed on from one heir to another. Hundreds of eons, the six embodiments have succeeded in protecting their world and its gate against the threat of the various worlds it is connected to. How?
Because none of them dared go against the sacred rule that has been established long before the first Caomhnoir was given life by the Lord of Time -NEVER FALL IN LOVE.
But the last Caomhnoir Dominius chose to deviate from her own responsibility. It should have been easy for the Netherion Magistrates to fix such a flaw. All there is to do is eliminate the weakness. Unfortunately, this time, the Dominius' consort turned out to be the most potent individual in the whole of Netherion. The Weir Argentum is one born of the ability to open and seal gates through space and time. And killing him would mean total abomination of the universe.
What was there to do but set the ultimatum: to live apart, or to be exiled into another dimension?
