Ghosts. They tend to strike fear in the hearts of some people, and stir interest in others. They are among the many mysteries of our earth, and are never quite truly understood. Many people claim they have met a ghost, but have they really? There are no solid records of spirits existing. So many questions have been asked. Are they real? That is to say, do they exist? Can we as humans see them? Some people question beyond that. If we can see them, can we interact with them? Do they know they’re dead? Do they know we’re alive? If they do know they’re dead, then how do they act? Terrified and angry? Indifferent to everything around them? Are they merely an echo of their past selves, or are they the real thing? Are they afraid of passing on? Is there anywhere can they pass on to?

Is there an afterlife?

Two of the greatest fears on earth are fear of death and fear of the dark. They both revolve around the same idea: fear of the unknown. No one knows if there is indeed an afterlife, because no one can return to tell, and no one has made such contact with what we call “ghosts.” So how can we be sure that ghosts exist and they are among us?

Well…I lived with two of them—I mean, I shared an apartment with them. I do know. I am sure.

Originally a Team Awesome work; this is a repost since the original story was unfortunately deleted when I deactivated almost a year ago. Since then, Sevenfold (half of Team Awesome) has actually left the fanfiction world to go have a baby and start a family. She and I still keep in touch occasionally and her son is adorable~ but I do have her permission to the rights of this story, and since I helped write it, well...:)
