GREEK MYTHOLOGY=KPOP STYLE

Recently, I've been reading a whole lot of mythology, namely Greek, stories as well as seeing Clash AND Wrath of the Titans and because of this, I have been inspired to write a mythology-themed fanfic. It's mythology in the sense that they are named after the gods and possess the powers of their respective godly counterparts with a modern twist. Technology and modern language are used in the story to make it more relevant to times. It talks about the lives of different important people in mythology, problems they go through and society ills. 

PREPARE YOURSELVES FOR A SUPER LONG DESCRIPTION+FOREWORD. I LOVE MYTHOLOGY SO MUCH I JUST HAVE A LOT TO SAY! BEAR WITH ME PLEASE! >.<

Without further ado, here's the cast of characters.

YUNHO as ZEUS

Zeus, the most powerful of all the gods on Mt. Olympus. He holds the power of lightning and reigns supreme over the city. Zeus is married to the beautiful Hera and is respected, feared, and revered by all. However, Zeus has a bad side to him. He secretly has vices and womanizes, resulting in many half-god children. His bitter quarrel with his wife one night leads to the breaking up of the city.

GAHEE as HERA

Hera is the goddess of childbirth and marriage. Hera is a loyal wife who stays by her man through thick and thin. She may be loving and caring but when someone steps over the border, she knows how to use her powers when angry. Zeus' antics fill her up one night after a succession of drinking sessions and reports that he has been womanizing and because of this, they divide the city. The most powerful god and most powerful goddess.

CL as PALLAS ATHENA

Athena, goddess of wisdom. Born from the head of Zeus, Athena possesses not only excellent mental capacity and overflowing wisdom, she is also a strategic leader and a fierce fighter. Almost an amazon, CL knows every possible battle strategy and is known for her immense strength, equalling that of Ares (Jonghyun). She hates men, save for her father and brother. 

G-DRAGON as APOLLO

Apollo, the  god of music. He is a known entertainer and perhaps the greatest musician in the city. With his harp, he can call for causes of joy and with his trumpet, he calls for danger. Apollo's healing powers are sought after not just by people but by the gods themselves. He is the face of calmness and enlightenment. Apollo also has a love for poetry. 

MAX CHANGMIN as HADES

Hades, the brother of Zeus and ruler of the underworld. He is misty and gloomy, much like his abode, the Underworld where the souls of the dead go. His cynical, sarcastic attitude creates a great displeasure to the gods. Because of jealousy, he often disagrees with Zeus as well as the other brighter, more benevolent gods. 

SUN YE as ARTEMIS

Artemis, huntress and goddess of the wild. Never seen without her bow and arrow. Like Athena, she too is known for her physical prowess as well as her connection with the wild. A lover of the environment, this goddess condemns whoever dares destroy Mother Nature. Her twin brother is Apollo (G-Dragon).

PARK BOM as APHRODITE

Goddess of love and endless, timeless beauty, Aphrodite has all the mortals AND gods bowing before her feet. Born from sea foam and coming to life in the form of a strikingly, dangerously lovely woman, Aphrodite uses her beauty and appeal to her great advantage, luring her enemies with it and eventually subjecting them to brutal punishment. Aphrodite is married to Hephaestus who subjects to her every desire.

KIM RYEOWOOK as HERMES

Loyal messenger of Zeus and the second youngest of the gods,  Hermes is responsible for giving Zeus the latest news. With his winged sneakers, he is able to move at a swift pace. A helpful god despite his young age, Hermes is the bringer of luck. 

KIM JONGHYUN as ARES

Hot headed and always game for a fight, Ares is the god of war. He carries his armory with him all the time as a sign of preparedness. Being the god of war, everything there is to know about warfare, he does know. Whenever the city is at war, people turn to him for guidance and leadership. 

LEE DONGHAE as POSEIDON 

The god of the sea, Donghae holds the power of the waters, the oceans, the rivers. Anything connected to water, Zeus' brother Poseidon has dominion over it. He rules with his golden trident which he also uses against his enemies, to enrage the oceans to fight with him.

TOP as HEPHAESTUS

-The blacksmith God who served other gods by crafting weapons and tridents for them. He was lame and unknown to many but if anything, Hephaestus was married to Aphrodite, the Goddess of Beauty. 

SEOHYUN as HESTIA 

The goddess of the home and hearth. Hestia may not be that huge of a goddess but she, like the others knows how to serve her purpose, especially around the house which is her dominion.
