Foreword

Seunghyun POV

"Yah! You come back here!" I yelled, chasing after Hana as she ran through the park, giggling.

I bent to pick up the doll that she dropped and looked up, groaning as she was nowhere to be found.

"KYAAA!"

I looked up as I heard the distinguishable scream of my daughter. "Hana?!"

I turned around and let out a sigh of relief as Hana came running up behind me. She grabbed onto my leg, giggling her head off. "I was hiding from you Daddy!" She squealed, smiling as I picked her up.

"Don't do that to Daddy again," I muttered, pressing my lips to the top of her head. "You scared me half to death."

She smiled, putting her hand on my cheek. "Like this?" She put her hands up and scrunched her nose and her fingers. "Rawr!"

I laughed, nodding. "Yes, like that. Beware the scary monster, Hana Choi."

She hit my forehead with her small hand. "I'm not a monster Daddy! I'm a little girl!"

I shook my head. "No, you're most definitely a scary little monster. I'm not allowed to take scary little monsters in my house."

I put her down on the ground and she squealed, holding her arms out to me so I could pick her up again. "No Daddy! I'm a little girl!"

I smiled and looked down, noticing her bare feet. "Hana Choi, where are your shoes?"

She looked down at her feet and pouted, wiggling her toes. "I dunno. They must have fell off."

I groaned and picked her up, putting her on my back. "Let's go find your shoes."

She wrapped her arms around my neck. "Okay...are those my shoes?"

I shook my head. "No, that's a piece of trash."

"Oh...are those my shoes?"

I shook my head again, smiling. "No, that's someone else's shoes."

"Oh...that lady has shoes. Are they mine?"

I shook my head. "Hana, those are her--"

"Excuse me? Do these belong to you?" I looked up and paused momentarily.

Standing before me was Park Bom, Hana's preschool teacher and one of the prettiest women I've met in my life. She smiled at me and handed me Hana's sandals.

"I just noticed a pretty little girl missing her shoes, saw these on the ground, and thought to give them to you," she handed me the shoes and smiled at Hana. "Hello beautiful! How are you doing?"

Hana smiled and extended her arms out to Bom, recognizing her teacher. Bom laughed and took Hana into her arms. I smiled at Bom as she helped me to get Hana back into her shoes.

"So, Ms. Park. What are you doing here at the park?"

She smiled and handed Hana back to me. "I'm here babysitting my nephew." She turned and pointed to an adorable little boy, playing on the slide with a group of other kids. Hana squealed and began kicking her legs, eager to play with the other kids. I let her down and watched her run off to the slide.

I smiled at Bom, stuffing my hands into my pockets. "Hana isn't too much trouble at school, is she?"

Bom smiled, shaking her head. "Hana is an absolute sweetheart and she's a big helping hand around the classroom. She likes to sing for the class a lot."

I smiled, nodding. "She sings all the time at home too."

Bom smiled, beginning to walk away. "It's been great seeing to you, Mr. Choi. I've gotta get going, my nephew has to meet his mom at three."

I nodded and smiled as she began to walk away. "Goodbye Ms. Park. See you on Monday."

"Do, do, do, do, do, do
Do, do, do, do, do, do
Do, do, do, do, do, do
My, my, my, you're my~
"

Hana sang, playing with her toys as she sat in the back seat of the car.

I looked up at her in the rear view mirror and I smiled. Hana was my four year old daughter that I rose by myself after a nasty divorce with my ex-wife, Lee Hyori. We acted cordially for Hana's benefit, but still had our arguments, most often about custody over Hana. At the moment, we were currently in a custody battle over Hana and I was trying to do anything in my power to keep my little girl.

"Daddy, you should marry Ms. Park." Hana commented from the back seat.

"I should marry Ms. Park? Why would you say that?" I asked, curious as to what was going on in the head of my daughter.

She smiled. "Because she's pretty and she likes to sing us songs. Especially the Itsy Bitsy Spider, and I like that one. If you marry her, she can sing it to me every night."

"I can sing the Itsy Bitsy Spider for you."

She frowned. "Daddy, you can't sing."

I playfully gasped. "What? I can't sing?! I'll show you singing!"

I began singing in a high voice, causing Hana to giggle and scream. "Daddy stop! Stop!"

I laughed, stopping my singing. "So if I marry Ms. Park, she'll sing for you instead of me?"

Hana nodded. "Yes! You have to marry her Daddy! I want a nice and pretty mommy."

I smiled, ignoring her question. Some things are better not said, especially around small children with big mouths.

Bom POV

"Hi mommy's little man!" Chaerin exclaimed, holding her hands wide open as Jonghyun ran into her hands.

"Mommy!" He squealed, jumping into the warm arms of his mother.

Chaerin hugged her son, kissing his cheek. She smiled at me. "Bom, thank you so much for watching Jonghyun today. I promise I will find him a new babysitter soon."

I shook my head. "No, I love watching him! He is no burden at all."

Chaerin grinned and leaned over kissing my cheek. "Thanks sis." She looked at Jonghyun and smiled. "Mommy's man, did you have fun with Auntie Bom?"

Jonghyun smiled, nodding his head. "Yes! Auntie got me McDonalds and took me to the playground."

Chaerin smiled. "The playground?"

Jonghyun grinned widely, baring his toothless mouth. "Yeah! Auntie talked to her boyfriend. Hana's daddy!"

Chaerin looked at me with narrowed eyes. "Her boyfriend?"

I shook my head. "Oh, no. That was just one of my student's father. Mr. Choi."

Chaerin smiled. "I know him! He's my client for a custody case. I should set you two up on a date."

I shook my head, blushing. "Oh, Chaerin, you don't have to. I really don't need a date--"

"Ah, too late. I'm getting you a man. Bye baby sister." She smiled, beginning to walk off with her son. "Auntie Bommie is going to get a boyfriend!"

I sighed, putting my hand to my head. Why was my sister so difficult?
