The next morning, Jessica was sleeping soundly in her ward with Mr Jung sitting by her bedside,
nodding his head away while Yuri was on the other side, with her head on Jessica's bed.

Few minutes later, Jessica started to stir from her sleep&to wake up with Mr Jung&Yuri by both her sides.

"Appa..?" called Jessica softly

"Oh..?"
"You're awake?" asked Mr Jung tenderly

"Appa.."
"You.. looked.. exhausted.." said Jessica sadly
"Dont be.. so.."

"Dont worry for appa ah Sooyeon" smiled Mr Jung
"As long as you're healthy, its all that appa could ask for"
"So get well for appa okay?"

"I.. will.. try.." said Jessica with a weak smile

"Thats my girl"

"Appa.."

"Yup?"

"Can you.. bring Yuri.. home.. to rest..?"
"She's.. been really.. tired.."

"Yuri?"
"I dont think she'll wanna go back with me Sooyeon"
"I know she's exhausted, but she's also worried for you" explained Mr Jung softly

"Then.. at least.."
"Can we.. request for a bed.. or something for her..?"
"She's gonna hurt.. her back.. like this.." said Jessica worriedly pointing at Yuri, sleeping with a bad sleeping posture.

"Woah"
"Appa's jealous now Sooyeon"
"I slept over there yet you didnt ask for a bed for appa"
"Now you're asking one for Yuri?"
"Hmm.." said Mr Jung as he wriggled his eyebrow

"Bianeh appa.." apologised Jessica awkwardly
"I just.." coughed Jessica

"Hey take it easy"
"I was just kidding"
"I understand where you're coming from" chuckled Mr Jung
"I'll help you request for it"
"So dont worry&rest more okay?" smiled Mr Jung warmly

"I will.. appa.."

Just then, Yuri woke up from her sleep, rubbing her eyes tiredly.

"Woah Yul.." called Jessica
"Your eyebags... are heavy.." chuckled Jessica cutely pointing at Yuri's eyes
"You should.. go home&rest.."
"Its like horrible.."

"YAH!"
"How can you do this to me!" whined Yuri
"Im taking care of you&you laughing at my eyebags!" said Yuri with her arms crossed.

"Im just kidding.." pouted Jessica cutely
"Awww.. dont be.. mad at me.."

"Hahas, of course i wont"
"How're you feeling now?" asked Yuri casually as she went over to get a cup of water for Jessica

"Like usual..?"

"Its okay, you'll get better soon"
"You'll be getting the surgery later" winked Yuri satisfied
"So yup, dont worry okay?"

"Im not worried.." smiled Jessica weakly
"But do you.. know who's the donor..?"

"Donor..?"

Yuri's POV

Donor..?
I really didnt actually thought of it..
Oh yeah.. who's the donor..
Maybe i should go&ask the doctor about it when Sica's in the surgery theatre..

"Oh, i've totally forgotten about it"
"I'll go ask the doctor later during your surgery"
"So dont worry"

"We need to repay the person" said Mr Jung
"Donating the heart is such a noble thing to do"

"Yeah.."
"Thats right.."
"We must.. Yul.." nodded Jessica in agreement

Few hours later, the doctors&nurses came into the room to push Jessica out of the ward&into the surgery theatre.
Standing in the room was YoonA,Sooyoung,Yuri&Mr Jung, with the worried yet relieved expression on their faces.

Mr Jung's POV

Finally..
Sooyeon's gonna free from the chest pain.
I just hope the transplant will be a success..

Yeobo, you'll be looking after her right?
She's your princess, right?

You'll get well, Sica.
Once you're well, everything will be like a restart of your life.
Its time for you to enjoy life.

But i really hope she's gonna get well after this.

During the surgery, Yuri&Mr Jung just sat outside the surgery theatre,
not moving a single inch from it.
Worried about Jessica, going through a major surgery that might take hours.
 
On the other hand, YoonA&Sooyoung went down to the cafeteria at the hospital to grab a bite.
Well, they are always hungry.

Around an hour later, YoonA&Sooyoung came up with a few bags in their hands.
Other than that, hamburgers were also in each of their hands munching away.

"Unnie.." mumbled YoonA with full

"Yeah?" asked Yuri with a worried expression

"Dont be all too worry" smiled YoonA assuringly
"Jessica unnie will be fine, have something to eat"
"Im sure Jessica unnie wont want to see you losing weight" giggled YoonA cutely

"Thats right Yuri"
"We wont want our doctor to lose weight too!" joked Sooyoung, trying to liven up the tense atmosphere
"If you collaspe, we're going to lose our job!"

"I dont want to lose my job unnie" whined YoonA
"I dont have anyone to support me!"

"Same here"

"You guys wont lose your job"
"Dont worry" smiled Yuri
"Im just worried for Sica thats all"

"Yuri, its fine, dont worry" said Mr Jung suddenly
"The doctors inside there have assured me umpteen times this will be fine" smiled Mr Jung
"We have to believe the doctors, right?"

"I guess so.." sighed Yuri

Yuri's POV

Jessica Jung Sooyeon
You better be fine after this!
We've got a long way to go after this transplant!

You cant chicken out now!

Hours later, the main doctor exited the surgery theatre with a few nurses following behind.
Totally like a natural reaction, everyone stood up immediately&crowded around the doctor.
At this time, even Taeyeon&Tiffany had arrived to wait with them after hearing the news of Jessica being admitted into the hospital.

"So how is she doctor?" asked Mr Jung worriedly
"You promised me its going to be fine right?"

"Yeah how is she doctor?"
"Did the surgery succeeded?" questioned Yuri worriedly

"Omo!"
"Doctor please tell us Jessi is fine!" exasperated Tiffany

"Yeah!" agreed Taeyeon impatiently

"Hey girls"
"Stop, let the doctor speak"
"He will answer your questions one by one" said YoonA calmly

"Yup thats right" smiled Sooyoung as she land a pat on Yuri's shoulder

The doctor sighed a little&took off her mask.

"Well, the transplant can be considered a success" started the doctor
"Her heart was seriously in the worse of the worse condition"
"I dont think she could make it in time if it wasnt for this heart donor"

"Oh my!"
"Doctor, just get to the point!" snapped Tiffany impatiently

"Alright alright"
"And, during the surgery, there were some complications in it"
"But werent all so serious, managed to get it down"
"Jessica will be in the Intensive-Care Unit(ICU) for a few days before moving onto the regular ward" annouced the doctor

"So can we visit her now?" asked Yuri

"Of course you can"
"But a few at a time"
"And please dont keep a lookout for her condition incase the body rejects the newly in-placed heart" added the doctor

"Oh.." sighed Yuri a little, feeling the disappointment over her

"Hey dont worry that much" assured the doctor
"As long as its not much of rejection, im sure medicine can do the job" smiled the doctor kindly

"I know.."
"Im just.. you know.."
"Hoping the best, prepared for the worst" said Yuri, forcing a weak smile

"Just dont worry too much"
"Go&accompany her"
"I'll get going" smiled the doctor before leaving

Before the doctor left, Mr Jung thanked him for his hardwork on helping his daughter recover.

"No problem Mr Jung"
"Its our job"

In Jessica's ICU ward

Jessica was all dressed so differently in the ICU ward.
Like fully protected, with wires, infus&oxygen mask over her pale face.

Sitting by her bedside, holding on to her fragile yet delicate hands was Yuri.
Standing outside the room, watching Jessica by the window was Mr Jung, TaeNy, Sooyoung&YoonA.

Taeyeon was leaning against Tiffany with Tiffany's hands hugging onto Taeyeon's waist was looking at such a heartbreaking scene.
Knowing the fact that Jessica's gonna recover soon but still felt that the scene was heartbreaking.
Tiffany couldnt imagine if Jessica was Taeyeon, how is she going to cope.
She was sure she aint as strong as Yuri, at least mentally.

While Sooyoung&YoonA, was worried for both Yuri&Jessica.
They dont know Jessica long, but watching the love they had for each other had already touched their hearts.
Really from the bottom of it.

As for Mr Jung, standing by the window, watching how his daughter was doing,
relying on the machines.
All he hoped for now, not anything but  just the health of her daughter.
He couldnt bear for her daughter to leave her like how his wife did.
Although knowing that she's gonna recover, still cant help but worry for that fragile figure lying lifelessly on the white bed.

Machines beeping away..
IV solution dripping away..

"Sica-ah.." called Yuri softly as she brushed the hair off Jessica's face
"Do you know how much i love you..?"
"You know that right..?"
"Im sure you'll get well soon right..?"
"Im sure your body wouldnt reject the heart right..?" said Yuri as tears escaped her eyes, falling down her cheeks.
"I know, you'll get well after this transplant"
"But, i still cant help but worry at you.."
"Look Sica, so many people standing outside the room, watching you"
"Worrying for you, im sure you dont like to make people worry for you right?" muttered Yuri as she held Jessica's hands to her face.

Few minutes later, after Yuri had cleared up her emotions,
wiping her tears off, she walked out of the ward with a fake smile plastered on her sad face.

"Mr Jung, go on in" said Yuri, forcing a fake smile
"Im sure you're worried too"

"Thanks Yul"
"For whatever you did" smiled Mr Jung as he left an encouraging pat on Yuri's back&walked into Jessica's ward.

Settling down on the seat that Yuri had sat on before she left,
Mr Jung sat there&held onto Jessica's hands, too.
Watching his daughter, lying sick&fragile there.

Without saying any words,
Mr Jung closed his eyes&prayed with his two hands clapsing Jessica's inbetween.

Mr Jung's POV

God, im sincerely asking this favour of you.
Can you see this fragile looking girl here?
On this white bed?
Please, im praying for her to be well.
Her health is my everything, i've been such a bad daddy to her in the past.
I really want to make it up for her.

And, yeobo,
she's your little princess,
dont you want her to recover too?
So please, dont let her body rejects the newly in-placed heart.

"Sooyeon.."
"Appa loves you.." whispered Mr Jung as he stood up&left a light peck on Jessica's forehead before leaving the room.

Outside the room, was Taeyeon&Tiffany, as well as YoonA&Sooyoung.
They were trying to comfort the worried Yuri who was sitting by the bench.

"Yul, Sica's gonna be alright" said Taeyeon
"Dont worry, you should take some rest"
"You looked like you're going to collaspe soon" added Taeyeon

"Yeah, you look awful Yul" agreed Tiffany with a nod
"I know you're worried"
"But look, we're all here for Jessi" smiled Tiffany

"Unnie, they are right"
"Have something" said YoonA as she put her hands into her shoulder bag&rumbled it for a few seconds&came back up with a chocolate bar.
"TA-DA!"
"Here, have this"
"Energy boost" grinned YoonA proudly at her chocolate bar

"YAH!"
"IM YOONA!" exclaimed Sooyoung widening her eyes
"Where's my share?!"

"Thats mine too" pouted YoonA
"My last chocolate bar"

"Its okay YoonA"
"You can have it" smiled Yuri kindly as she passed the chocolate bar back to YoonA but YoonA refused to take it.

"No you take it unnie"
"I want you to have it" smiled YoonA before turning back to Sooyoung

"I'll get you 5 later okay?"
"Dont snatch this chocolate bar with unnie" said YoonA

"Deal!" grinned Sooyoung satisfied
"I was actually just kidding you know"
"But since im able to earn myself a few chocolate bars, why not?" chuckled Sooyoung
"So, a promise is a promise"
"5 chocolate bars later!"

"WHAT?!"
"You're always bullying me!"
"Snatching my food not wanting to share yours with me!" whined YoonA, on the verge of tears.

"Awww~"
"Since when did i not share my food with you?"
"I did okay?"
"Remember that time, i bought takeaways for you from the pasta shop?" asked Sooyoung

"You dare to mention that unnie?!"
"That pasta, i realised it had been eaten before!"
"Must be your leftovers!" exasperated YoonA with her arms crossed.

"Ops"
"You realised that?" mumbled Sooyoung which brought giggles&chuckles to the people outside.

Sooyoung&YoonA's POV

Phew~
Finally, they laughed.
I mean, i know its worrying but the tense atmosphere is awkward..

At night, Yuri slept in Jessica's ward, together with her.
Just that Yuri slept on the sofa beside it.
Yuri didnt want to leave Jessica alone, in the scary hospital that Jessica had always hated.
Watching Jessica, who have yet to regain consciousness, Yuri slowly dozed off.

Jessica's POV

Woah..
This place looked so familiar..
Such a relaxed place..
Nice breeze, sweet-smelling flowers..
