"Wake up~" called Yuri as she used Jessica's hair to tickle her ears.

"Just 5 more minutes Yuri-ah~" replied Jessica semi-consciously

"I've cooked you your favourite breakfast~"

"Yuri-ah~"
"5 minutes pleaseeee~" whined Jessica

"Nope, if you're not gonna wake up"
"Mr.Cucumber's on his way!" warned Yuri as she headed towards the door

"WAIT WAIT!"
"IM UP!!"
"I hate you, Yuri!" pouted Jessica as she sat on her bed with her arms crossed

"Aww~"
"Dont hate me!"
"I'll be really heartbroken!" teased Yuri playfully
"Come on, lets go for breakfast"
"I've cooked it specially for you~"

"Im tired Yuri-ah~"
"Piggyback me~"

"Come on, get on my back" said Yuri as she bend over to let Jessica get on her back.

"Mmm.."
"I miss your back Yuri!"
"Its been 4 whole long years since you piggyback-ed me!" complained Jessica

"I know i know"
"The 4 years was partly because of you okay!"
"And im already trying to make it up for you!"
"Stop complaining!"

"Ani"
"I still wanna complain, i wanna complain loads to Yuri" giggled Jessica

"Here, sit down" said Yuri as she slowly put Jessica down on the chair of the dining table
"Still your favourite right?"
"Hot pancakes with lots of maple syrup" asked Yuri as she pushed the plate of hot pancakes right infront of Jessica

"Nope"
"Its not my favourite anymore" lied Jessica cheekily

"Really?"
"Then i think i'll have to clear it away then" said Yuri, trying to keep up with Jessica's show

"NOOO~"
"Yuri you arent fun!"
"Cant tease you at all" pouted Jessica angrily

"Thats because i know you too well ah Sica"
"Now eat"

"Araesso araesso"
"Yuri-ah, you coming with me to the office later?"
"Or to the pool, i'll introduce you the newbies that were recently recruited" said Jessica while muching her delicious pancakes

"Oh okay"
"Will you be at the pool with me then?"
"Throughout my training later if i go?"

"Hmm.."
"If you want, i'll be there" smiled Jessica sweetly

"By the way.."
"Sica-ah.. What do you have tomorrow..?"

"Tomorrow?"
"Just loads of work like any other day?"
"And to supervise the atheletes who are training?"
"There'll be an upcoming national competition for track&field category"
"So i'll have to spend more attention on them"
"Appa wants them to at least win a bronze medal each" sighed Jessica as she played with her fork

"Thats mean.."
"And hard.."
"But Sica-ah, i heard from butler lee that you've been scheduled with your treatment tomorrow"

Jessica thought Yuri didnt know, so that she could actually skip that long hours of treatment.
Dont know if its long to others, but its long to Jessica since its gonna take 4-5hours for it.

"Sica-ah" called Yuri as she held onto Jessica's hands
"You cant carry on like this you know.."
"Im really worried.."
"I dont want to lose you, you know that.."

"I know.."
"But im left with no choice.."
"Appa will scream at me if i didnt do the way he wanted.."
"I dont like to be shouted at.."
"Plus, i think i owe appa a lot.."

"Owe?"
"What do you mean by owe?"
"I mean, you're his daughter, there's no such thing as owe Sica"

"Nevermind.."
"I dont want to talk about it now okay Yuri?" said Jessica sadly

"Okay, tell me when you feel like it then"
"I'll be here for you" smiled Yuri

"Okay, then lets get going now"
"Im gonna be late soon"
"Quickquick" said Jessica as she was rushing out of the mansion

"YAH"
"JESSICA JUNG! DONT RUN!"
"ITS BAD FOR YOUR HEART!" shouted Yuri from the back

Jessica just turned behind&stook out her tongue at Yuri before entering the car that was prepared for them.

In the car

"Yah Sica-ah, dont, dont do this to me"
"Purposely doing things that might impose threat to your health" scolded Yuri angrily

"Araesso araesso"
"Bianeh Yuri-ah!" said Jessica as she pinched Yuri's cheeks

"Better mean what you say"
"Or i'll make it regret to agreeing me of being your personal cardiac doctor!" warned Yuri sternly

"Araesso araesso"
"Dont be so fierce at me, i'll cry" giggled Jessica who then pretended to cry

"Anyway, promise me you'll get the treatment tomorrow?"
"I'll do it for you if you want" said Yuri

"Of course you'll do it for me"
"Your Jessica Jung's one&only personal doctor who came back from Harvard!"
"But you know, Yuri-ah, promises are meant to be broken" joked Jessica
"And, i've asked butler lee to get all the stuff from my previous doctor for you already"
"It should be in your room by tonight when we get home"
"But dont be too shocked at it okay!" chuckled Jessica

"Yah Sica-ah!!"
"I really cant stand you already!" exasperated Yuri as she ruffled Jessica's hair.

Jessica was too cute for Yuri.
Everything Jessica does for Yuri was far too cute&sweet for her.
She couldnt help, but melt at the sight of it.

"Hehe, thats because you love me too much" teased Jessica

"Yeah yeah"
"Because i love you too much, thats why im suffering here"

"Awww~"
"Come on Yuri~"
"Dont be like this, i know you aint so petty~" cooed Jessica

Jessica's POV

I know, i know Yuri's doing it for my own good.
But i just wanna do the best for appa..
I owed him so much.
Because of me, he lost the person he loved the most.
I cant disappoint him anymore or get him bothered with my problems.
I've already lived with this fact for 17 years i caused him to lose the person he loved the most.

Wonder what did Sica actually meant with the sentence, 'i think i owe appa a lot'.
I'll just wait for her till she's ready to tell me..
It seems like some kind of pain to her if she's gonna say it out.
For now, i'll just concentrate on taking care of Sica i guess!

At SM Sports' private pool

"Anyeonghaeseyo trainees"

"Anyeonghaeseyo Ms Jessica"

"Good to see all of you here"
"Well, have you all heard of Kwon Yuri?"
"The best swimmer we have in SM Sports but went overseas on a scholarship?"

"Neh, she's the legend here!" chorused the trainees
"Why did you ask about that then?"

"Well, she's back!" clapped Jessica happily as Yuri came into view.
"She'll be training with all of you, taking part in competitions to make our company proud"
"And, to be exact, she'll be training you guys together with the coaches" corrected Jessica

"Oh, Ms Jessica"
"Can we have a swimming competition with Yuri sunbaenim?"
"Its our honour to swim with a legend of SM sports" said the trainees

"Of course you can, right Yuri?" winked Jessica

"Yup sure"
"But i think i've turned rusty"
"So please dont mind me okay?" smiled Yuri

"Of course we wont!"

A few minutes later, everyone was in their position ready to take off.
The coaches were the one starting the race while Jessica sat by the audience seat with all her documents.
Jessica promised to be there for Yuri throughout the whole thing thats why she sat there with all her work.
Then, a horn was sounded&everyone leaped into the pool neatly.
Yuri was leading immediately right after she's in the pool.
Her speed was no joke, she had the distance between herself&the 2nd person drawn really far apart.
Within a minute, Yuri was up&out of the pool with the coaches complimenting her.

"Woah Yuri"
"Its been 4 years but you're still as good"
"Or probably even better!" complimented the coaches

"Aniyo"
"Just luck" smiled Yuri awkwardly

Yuri's not used to all the compliments she's been receiving,
except from those that are from Jessica.
The trainees were all saying that no wonder Yuri's the legend of this SM pool.
Her speed was like lightning!

While Yuri were training in the pool with the coaches, Jessica felt a sudden surging pain in her chest.

"Please.. not now.." said Jessica in between gasps as she quickly fumbled her bag for her medicine&water.

Minutes later, the pain had slowly subsided, leaving the exhausted Jessica leaning against the wall resting.
Jessica was glad that the medicine helped her, sometimes the medicine didnt actually help her.
Jessica didnt want Yuri to see her in that state whereby the medicine dont work on her&she'll eventually collaspe.

Hours later, Yuri was done with her training for the day.

"Wake up~"
"Wake up sleepyhead~" called Yuri as she slightly pushed Jessica on her shoulders.

"Mmm..?"
"Its so dark already..?" asked Jessica half awake

"Pabo-ah"
"Its already 7.30pm Sica-ah"
"I didnt expect you to really sit here&wait for me"
"Its an indoor pool, the air ventilation is not as good ah Sica"
"Nevermind, come lets go home"

"Araesso.." said Jessica as she picked up all her work&walked out of the pool with Yuri

Outside the pool, Jessica&Yuri was waiting for the chaffeur to arrive.
The chaffeur said that he'll be there shortly about 10 minutes or earlier.

"Yuri-ah.." shivered Jessica

"Cold?" asked Yuri&Jessica nodded
"Come, have this" said Yuri as she put her coat over Jessica's body.
"Better?"

"Yup, gomawo Yuri-ah" smiled Jessica tiredly

"Why are you so tired ah Sica?"
"Is it because of your work?"

"I dont know too.."
"I dont know why im feeling so tired today"

"Are you sick?" asked Yuri concernly who placed her hands on Jessica's cheeks to feel for a fever
"Nope, you arent running a fever"
"Nevermind, just go home&rest okay"

"Okay"
"Sorry ah Yuri, cant accompany you for dinner after your long tiring training" apologised Jessica sadly

She really wanted to go for dinner with Yuri, she hated her body at times.
For being so weak, cant even accompany the person she loved the most for dinner.

"Look its here"
"Come on Sica"
"Get on the car" said Yuri as she opened the door for Jessica to get out.

On the way back home, the trip was silent as Jessica fell asleep right immediately after they got on the car.
Jessica's head was lying on Yuri's lap while Yuri gently caressed Jessica's cheeks.

Yuri's POV

Sica-ah..
How can it be that you turned so much paler&skinner with the 4 years so fast..
I studied so hard, tried my best to come back earlier for you.
But im so disappointed to see you in such a state..
Please get better okay?
I love you, i dont want you to leave me..

20 minutes later, they had arrived back at the mansion.
Butler Lee was waiting for them at the main door.
As soon as the car turned in, butler lee immediately came over to open the door for them.
Instead of waking the tired Jessica up, Yuri motioned butler lee away first&piggyback-ed Jessica up to her room.

"Butler Lee"
"Could you please just bring our stuff up to our room while i get Jessica back in her room?"

"Of course"

"Thanks" smiled Yuri as she piggyback-ed Jessica to her room
", how did you get so light ah Sica.." whispered Yuri

Upon entering the room, Yuri was shocked to see Jessica's room full of medical supplies&machines.
She gasped at the sight of it as she slowly laid Jessica on bed&pulled the cover over her.

"Ms Yuri"
"Here's Ms Jessica's items"
"And here's yours"
"Do you want me to leave yours here or bring it into your room?"

"Leave it in my room will do" smiled Yuri politely
"Err, butler lee"
"Whats with all these?" asked Yuri as she pointed to the medical supplies&machines around Jessica's bedroom.

"Oh, er"
"Ms Jessica doesnt like to stay in the hospital"
"So during your stay in UK, we've bought the machine&supplies here for Ms Jessica"
"Eversince then, she's been getting treatment at home instead of hospital" explained butler lee
"But sometimes, Ms Jessica would be really busy to the extent that she misses the appointment with the doctor"
"And thus missed the whole treatment.." added butler lee sadly
"Ms Yuri, i hope you can make Ms Jessica feel better"
"She's a really poor little girl who had gone through much since young"

"I will"
"Dont worry"
"Im as equally worried as you"
"Can you cook some porridge for Sica?"
"Like some fish porridge would be nice please?"

"Sure, would get it done right away" replied butler lee politely as he exited the room to prepare.

"Hmm."
"I'll just go take a quick shower&come back here with Sica's medical report" mumbled Yuri to herself

30 minutes later, Yuri entered Jessica's bedroom with her medical history&recent reports in her hands.
Yuri had herself settled down on a chair beside Jessica's bed&started looking through everything, the medicine she's been given&types of treatment etc.

Yuri's POV

Sica-ah..
How do you actually take care of yourself when your attacks happen more&more frequently..?
When your medicine got from the mild to the serious ones..?
And your treatment, getting from once per two months to twice per month..?
Sica-ah, what have you been doing..?

Putting down the files, Yuri shook her head&went over to the medical machines.
She pulled out the echocardiogram from the crowd of machines to Jessica's bedside&plugged it into the socket.
Waiting for the machine to switch it on, like a professional cardiologist, Yuri went to wash her hands, had it cleaned thoroughly,
put on the gloves&got a tube of gel for the scan.
After a few minutes, when all the preparation was done, Yuri sat down beside Jessica&took the transducer&applied the gel on it that helps to produce clearer image on the ultrasound.
Then, Yuri slowly ed Jessica's shirt so as not to wake her up&started moving the transducer around her chest but was shocked to see how weak her heart condition had become.
Suddenly, a force was felt on her wrist.

"Yuri-ah.." called Jessica softly
"What are.. you doing..?"

"Sica, you're awake?"
"Just checking your condition after looking through your medical history&reports.."
"And, its pretty bad now Sica.."
"Judging from this ultrasound.." said Yuri as she shook her head, disappointed

"Im sorry Yuri.." sobbed Jessica sadly
"Im sorry to have disappointed you.."
"Im sorry.. I didnt want to worry you when you were in UK.." said Jessica in between sobs

Jessica felt so sorry towards Yuri for keeping her health conditions from her.
She didnt want Yuri to worry for her but now everything's leaked out.

"You know Sica, you're the most important person in my life"
"How can i not worry about you when you're getting weaker&weaker?" said Yuri as she wiped the tears off Jessica's face before cleaning off the gel on her chest&buttoning up her shirt.
"Even if going for a surgery cant guarantee fully recovery you know Sica.."
"You went through twice, if going through the third, the chances of failing is high.."
"Even if the surgery succeeded, the chances of you recovering fully is low you know.." explained Yuri

"I know.."
"Thats why surgery was never my choice.."
"I dont want to die in the operating theatre.."
"Im really sorry ah Yuri" cried Jessica as she hugged Yuri tightly, soaking Yuri's shoulder.

"Nevermind.."
"But from now on, you'll listen to me okay..?"

"Okay, i'll try.."

"Sigh.."
"Nevermind about these, come lets go down for dinner"
"I've asked butler lee to prepare porridge for you" said Yuri as she held out her hand to Jessica

"Nope"
"Yuri-ah, piggyback me!"

"YAH!"
"I've piggyback-ed you back here from the car"
"Now you want me to piggyback you to the kitchen?!"

"Cant?"
"Nevermind, im tired"
"You can just go for dinner alone then"

"Aish!"
"I really dont know why am i in love with you!"
"Come on, get on!" exasperated Yuri as she knelt down with her back facing Jessica

Immediately, Jessica swiftly got on Yuri's back happily.
While piggyback-ing Jessica down to the kitchen,

"I hope to be on your back like this everday" whispered Jessica into Yuri's ears

"Araesso araesso"
"I'll piggyback you everyday whenever you want it okay?" surrendered Yuri

There's no way Yuri could resists Jessica's request.
Yuri felt that it was too harsh to reject such a cute yet poor little girl's request.

"And you know Yuri"
"Im really sorry.." whispered Jessica into Yuri's ears again&immediately gave Yuri a quick peck on her right cheek.

"Its over Sica"
"Dont dwell over it anymore" said Yuri as she settled Jessica down on the chair in the dining hall.
"Here, eat it while its warm" said Yuri as she put a bowl of porridge infront of Jessica

"Ewww"
"Its porridge again~" complained Jessica as she pinched her nose like a little girl who hates the smell of garlics.
"I've been eating this more than rice!"

"Stop complaining Sica"
"Who asked you to be sick then?" relpied Yuri immediately without sparing a thought for Jessica

Hearing this made Jessica flare up.

"Yeah, i know im a hassle"
"You think i wanna be so sickly all the time?"
"You think i wanted it?"
"If you think im such a hassle, you dont have to take care of me"
"Its fine!" snapped Jessica angrily as she got off the chair&went back to the room&slammed her door hard with a loud bang.

"!"
"Pabo Yuri!"
"Why would i say something like that?!" grumbled Yuri with frustration
"Now Sica's angry at me.."
"Gosh.."

In the room

Jessica's POV

Why did Yuri say something like this to me..?
Is it because im now a hassle to her?
Or because she lost the love for me that she finds taking care of me a hassle?

Im sorry for bringing so much trouble to you..

Sobs were heard from Jessica's room.
Yuri who were standing out the room was hesistating whether she should go into the room&apologise to Jessica now or later.
After comtemplating for sometime, Yuri decided that she'll apologise to Jessica the next day since she wanted Jessica to cool down first so Yuri returned back to her room.
Minutes later, footsteps were heard exiting Jessica's room.

Yuri's POV

Is that Jessica?
Its so late already, why did she leave her room..?
Should i go out&check it out incase anything happens to her?
Hmm..
Incase.. I should bring something incase her heart attack occurs in the cold then..

Yuri packed a little medical supplies into her mini pouch&left her room a cardigan over her.
As she exited the mansion, she saw butler lee.

"Butler Lee"
"Have you seen Sica?" asked Yuri worriedly

"Oh, Ms Jessica"
"Yup i've seen her walking to our garden"
"I told her not to go since its cold at night"
"But she told me its fine" shrugged butler lee

"Thanks butler lee"
"Owe you one!" said Yuri as she rushed to the garden

In the garden

Everything feels so calm&nice at night, apart from the coldness in it.
This is the place Jessica comes whenever she's feeling sad or misses her mum or Yuri.
Today is the first time Yuri broke her heart.
Jessica didnt know if Yuri meant it, but still it made her felt so sad.
Just then, a piercing pain emerged in Jessica's chest&the pain got more&more unbearable as time seconds ticked past.
Jessica didnt bring her medicine out as she thought its just a short while, nothing bad would actually happen.
But she was wrong.

"Sica-ah!" shouted Yuri who came running to Jessica seeing her clutching her chest in pain.
"Dont worry Sica-ah"
"You'll be fine!" assured Yuri as she fumbled her pouch for the jab&liquid she prepared before coming out to look for Jessica

Within seconds, Yuri slowly injected the liquid into Jessica's arms.

"Now breathe slowly.."
"The pain will go off soon.."

Minutes later, Jessica slowly felt better&stood up.

"Thanks Yuri"
"Sorry for the trouble.." said Jessica sadly as she turned to walk away weakly

"Wait"
"Sica-ah, cheongmal biyaneh"
"I didnt mean what i said, it was just me spurting nonsense.."
"Dont be mad at me, i really want to take care of you.."
"Really.." said Yuri as she held onto Jessica's wrist to stop her from going away

"..."
"..."
"Im tired Yuri.." said Jessica on the verge of tears

Jessica didnt know what to say after hearing Yuri's words.
She couldnt doubt Yuri's love for her anymore..

"Tired?"
"Come on i'll piggyback you" offered Yuri as she got Jessica onto her back swiftly
"Im sorry Sica.."

"Im sorry too, Yuri" whispered Jessica as she fell into deep slumber with seconds on Yuri's back.
