Worried, Yuri threw away the post-it almost immediately&ran out of the room.
While running out of the room, Yuri instructed the nurses to go around the hospital to look for Jessica because she couldnt have gone off too far since her body's weak.

Running out of the room, Yuri fished out her phone&started dialing for Jessica's phone but couldnt get through.
Got directed to the voicemail all the time.

"Sica-ah.." mumbled Yuri frantically

Yuri's POV

Sica, im not even giving up on you.
How could you give yourself up?!

There's hope in everything, even if its just 0.0001% of chance,
its still a chance worth fighting for.

God, please let me find Sica.
I cant live without her, you've seen her go through much.
Let her live on.
Please.

Staggering down the streets dizzily, Jessica earned concerned stares from people around her.
Some even offered to bring her to the hospital but was turned down by Jessica.
Jessica then eventually reached a nearby park&sat down under a huge shady trees.

Sitting under the trees, Jessica's that were flowing down her face eventually formed a river down her face.
She just couldnt understand why cant she just live her life like how others were.
Why is it that her health always fails her before anything.

Jessica's POV

How could all these happen..?
I mean, im not at all so tired or anything after my previous surgery..
How did it turn out so sudden..?

I dont want to leave appa&Yuri..
I really dont..
Did i really do something that bad in my previous life that im suffering like this now..?
I know, im not the only one suffering in this world&that there are people who are in worser condition than me.
Just let me be selfish for once, to think that im the only pathetic soul out here.
Im really tired of all these..

Leaning against the tree, hugging her knees with her head on it,
Jessica slowly fell into consciousness.
Hours&hours later, rain started to pour mercilessly down onto Jessica,
waking her up from her deep sleep.

"God, is this what you want?"
"Pouring cold water on me?" asked Jessica
"Its just a sign of you wanting me to give myself up right?"
"I get it" said Jessica

Grabbing her phone from her pocket, she dialled for Yuri's number.

*PHONE CALL*

"SICA?!"
"WHERE ARE YOU NOW?!" exclaimed Yuri over the phone
"ITS RAINING SO HEAVILY!"
"I'LL GO GET YOU, WHERE YOU NOW?!"

"Yul, lets break up"

"SICA?!"
"Why?!"
"I told you i wont break up with you!" insisted Yuri on the verge of tears

"I've decided"
"Its final that i dont love you anymore" said Jessica coldly
"I thought that i loved you, but i dont"

"No!"
"Sica, you're lying!"
"Just tell me where you are now!"
"I'll go look for you&we'll talk there!" said Yuri, unable to believe what she had just said.

"Dont bother"
"Im on the plane, ready for takeoff" lied Jessica coldly

"WHAT?!"
"SICA! How could you do this to me?!" cried Yuri over the phone
"We loved each other! We've went through so much!"
"I've yet given up on you, dont give up on yourself!"
"Please! Take it as im begging you"
"Dont leave!" pleaded Yuri

"Im sorry"
"Got to go"
"And remember, we're over"
"Find someone better than me thats worthy enough to have you"

*END OF PHONE CALL*

"Im sorry Yul.."
"I dont want to break your heart but.."
"Live on, find someone better than me" sighed Jessica as she tapped her phone a few more times.

*PHONE CALL*

"Yoboseyo"

"Appa.."

"Sooyeon?"
"Whats wrong?" asked Mr Jung

"Appa, saranghae.."

"I love you too"
"But you sound weird"
"Whats wrong?"
"Are you sick?" asked Mr Jung worriedly

"Appa.." sobbed Jessica
"I feel like dying.."
"My heart, its breaking.."
"Hurting inside out.."

"Sooyeon, hushhush"
"Dont cry okay?"
"Appa's gonna get the earliest flight back home"
"Dont cry, i'll come back&tell me more okay?" comforted Mr Jung

"Ani.."
"Appa, you can just carry on with your work.."
"Im just sad.." lied Jessica but deep inside her heart, she wished that Mr Jung was with her.

"Nonono"
"I wont, i'll be coming back"
"Wait for me, dont do anything silly" warned Mr Jung before he hurriedly ended the call.

*END OF PHONE CALL*

Yuri's side

"Why Sica.."
"Why.."
"Why did you leave me..?" sobbed Yuri quietly as she sat outside Mrs Kwon's house drenched.

Few hours later, Mrs Kwon came back from work&was shocked to see Yuri sitting by her doorsteps drenched inside out.

"Omona!"
"Yuri-ah!" exclaimed Mrs Kwon in shock
"Why are you sitting here in the cold?!"
"And drenched!?"

"Omma.."
"Can you explain.. why Sica.. left..?" asked Yuri with a sad expression

"Come in first"
"We'll get you cleaned up"
"Dont want a doctor getting sick herself" mumbled Mrs Kwon as she half-dragged Yuri into the house.

Around an hour later, Mrs Kwon laid Yuri back onto the bed.
Mrs Kwon was really worried&scared at the same time.
It was her first time seeing Yuri in this state, she was usually really strong.
It was her very first time seeing Yuri, broken down in this state.

"Yuri.." called Mrs Kwon
"Do you wanna tell omma whats wrong..?" asked Mrs Kwon slowly but only to see Yuri tearing up.

"Omma.." was the only word that came out of Yuri's mouth as she hugged onto Mrs Kwon tightly while tears rolled down her cheeks.
"Sica.. she left me.."
"Broke up.." sobbed Yuri

"What?!"
"How did it happen?!" asked Mrs Kwon shocked

"I dont know.."
"It just happened so suddenly.."
"Sica's heart.. has got a problem again.."
"She cant go through anymore surgery because she went through too much.."
"Or too many times.. the risk is high.."
"So she has to wait for a heart transplant but she isnt.. confident of it.."
"She left me, omma.." cried Yuri
"I held onto her.. for so long.."
"And she still left me.."
"Why, omma..?"
"Why.."

"Awww.."
"Yuri, dont be sad"
"Im sure there's a misunderstanding between you girls" hushed Mrs Kwon
"Why not we go&look for her tomorrow?"

"Its useless.."
"She left.."
"To another country.." sobbed Yuri

"Oh no.." whispered Mrs Kwon
"Nevermind, its okay Yuri"
"Omma's here for you"
"Just rest here okay?" smiled Mrs Kwon

"Gomawo.. omma.." mumbled Yuri

"Feel better sweetie" said Mrs Kwon before leaving the room&shutting the door.

Lying in the dark room alone, tears began flowing down Yuri's face again.
Picking up her phone, staring into her phone's wallpaper.
Reminiscing the times whereby the couple had happy times together.
How she wished her phone was ringing with the caller as Jessica.

Jessica's side

Lying back in her bed, feeling all so weak.
Jessica, also couldnt stop her tears from flowing.
Her chest was hurting both physically&mentally yet she couldnt stop her tears to ease just that tint bit of pain in her chest.
Jessica thought that by leaving Yuri, it would probably give her more strength&will to fight on so that she can see Yuri again.
And also, in case she decided to give up, Yuri wouldnt need to grieve over her death.
Soon, Jessica slowly fell into deep slumber.

The next day, Jessica was awoken by a knock on her door.

*KNOCK KNOCK*

"Sooyeon..?" called Mr Jung as he slowly walked into the room&settled himself beside Jessica.

"Hmm.."
"App..aa?" replied Jessica as she sat up groggily

"What happened yesterday?"
"Why do you look so pale?"
"Are you sick or something?" asked Mr Jung worriedly as he placed his hands on Jessica's neck, cheeks&forehead.
"You feel warm Sooyeon" commented Mr Jung

"Appa.." sobbed Jessica

"Why?"
"Are you feeling really uncomfortable?"
"Dont cry, appa will bring you to the doctor" assured Mr Jung

"Appa.."
"I missed you.." sobbed Jessica
"Im sick.. so sick.."
"Did you think i did something really.. mean in my previous.. life..?"

"Why did you say so?"
"You're a princess to me Sooyeon"
"It must be that you've done something good to be one" smiled Mr Jung assuringly

"Then appa.."
"Can you explain to me.. why is it that my health.. is always failing me..?"

"What do you mean by that Sooyeon?" asked Mr Jung shocked
"Does that mean your heart..?"

"Appa..i really dont know.."
"Dont know how long.. can i pull through all these.." sobbed Jessica as she hugged onto Mr Jung
"I really.. dont know.."
"I broke up.. with Yuri.."
"I dont want her to sufer with me.."
"With no future, no thing appa.." cried Jessica bitterly

"Sooyeon, i understand how you feel.."
"But is it necessary to break up?"
"I know you're feeling miserable inside, its like how i lost your mum.."
"You know, how much hurt you're inflicting on Yuri too?" asked Mr Jung
"I know you dont want her to get hurt or anything, but you're hurting her now" explained Mr Jung
"And appa's here for you, i'll make you feel better"
"Really"

"Ani.."
"Appa.. im.."
"I cant be.. saved through.. medicine anymore.."
"I need a brand.. new heart appa.."
"A heart.. im like a heartless person.. because my heart.. has broken down.." sobbed Jessica
"I dont know how long.. can i wait.."

"Aww.."
"Dont cry already Sooyeon"
"We'll get you back to the hospital okay?" cooed Mr Jung as he ruffled Jessica's hair, cupping Jessica's teary face in his hands.

"I dont.. like it appa.."
"The medicine, smell, needles&everything.."
"Its scaring.. me off.."
"And it doesnt make me.. feel better.."
"Should i give.. up..?"
"Join omma..?" asked Jessica

"NO!"
"What do you think you're doing now?!"
"If you really leave appa like omma, appa's going to leave you right now!" threatened Mr Jung in anger

"Im really tired of everything.. appa.."
"Can i just let go.. of everything..?" said Jessica helplessly
"Isnt it better if im dead..?"
"You wont have to.. waste your precious time&money.. on me.."
"And i wont.. be there to.. do anything.. that endangers your company.."

This was when Mr Jung realised Jessica's not in the right state of mind.
Jessica's like deliriously blabbering everything out.
But at least, Mr Jung knew this was her inside feelings.
It also made Mr Jung realised that how much hurt Mr Jung had once inflicted on Jessica,
&the shadow that had formed because of it.

"Butler lee!" shouted Mr Jung from Jessica's room&butler lee arrived within minutes.

"Yes Mr Jung?"

"Could you go get a doctor here?"

"Ms Yuri?" asked butler lee

"No" said Mr Jung after hesistating for a few seconds
"Sooyeon wouldnt want Yuri here"

"Okay sure"
"I'll get one here"

45 minutes later, butler lee entered the room with a doctor behind him.

"Anyeonghaeseyo"
"Kim Jaejong imnida" introduced Dr. Kim

"Anyeonghaeseyo Dr.Kim" replied Mr Jung as he stood up from Jessica's bed
"Could you please take a look at my daughter?" asked Mr Jung worriedly

"Oh sure"
"No problem" smiled Dr.Kim
"But you'll have to excuse us first" said Dr.Kim politely

"Okay sure" smiled Mr Jung as he went out of the room&stood outside of the room waiting for Dr.Kim.

After a good 15 minutes, Dr.Kim came out of the room with a solemn expression.
The same one Yuri had.

"So how's she doctor?"

"She's running a fever"
"My guess is she caught a cold"
"But its nothing serious"
"The serious thing is her heart, listening to her heart through the stethoscpoe"
"Her heart has got serious problem Mr Jung" explained Dr.Kim

"Yes" sighed Mr Jung
"I've just found out about it"
"Is there anything i can do for her?" asked Mr Jung

"Well, i cant say anything till i've run tests for her"
"So i suggest you bring her in"

"Its okay Dr.Kim"
"Sooyeon's bedroom have almost everything"
"If you're missing anything, just instruct butler lee to buy it" said Mr Jung
"Sooyeon doesnt like the hospital" added Mr Jung

"I see" said Dr.Kim
"I've actually also realised you've quite a few medical equipment in it"
"So i've actually put on the oxygen mask for her, she's breathing really hard"

"Oh, so when are you going to perform the tests for her?"
"Before deciding on the next treatment or something?" asked Mr Jung

"I'll have to check on the equipment you have before deciding when"
"I mean, if you have it i can do it as long as she's awake"
"If not, i'll have to buy it&use it which usually takes around a week" explained Dr.Kim

"Butler lee"
"Show Dr.Kim where Sooyeon had kept all the equipment" instructed Mr Jung

Butler lee then led Dr.Kim into Jessica's room&another extended room.
Sliding the door open, it was filled with different medical equipment.

"Wow" said Dr.Kim
"Its amazing.."

"Yeah thats right"
"In some sense they are, it looked professional" replied butler lee
"But imagine yourself relying on all these all the time"
"It wouldnt look as amazing, isnt it?"

"I guess so" mumbled Dr.Kim as he browsed through all the machines&eventually found those that he need.
"I've found it"

"Really?"

"Yup, i guess we can carry the test out right immediately after she wakes up"
"Provided she allows me to"

"Okay sure" smiled butler lee

"Anyway, can i ask something?"

"Sure?"

"Why did you all not let her original doctor take care of her?"
"I mean its better for someone who took care of her longer to you know, take charge of all these"

"Its a long story"
"Anyway, please be patient with Ms Jessica"
"She's afraid of needles&more" said butler lee as he exited Jessica's room with Dr.Kim
"Getting too much of it made her developed some kind of phobia" explained butler lee

"Its okay" smiled Dr.Kim
"I'll take it as she's like a kid"
"No problem"

"I hope its really a no problem, Dr.Kim" added Mr Jung as he walked over the him.
"She's my only child"
"Please make her feel better, it hurts me much to see her in pain"

"Of course i will Mr Jung"
"Plus, i do understand your feelings, as a father" grinned Dr.Kim
"So dont worry"

"I hope so.." sighed Mr Jung
"So how?"
"Are the equipment usable?"

"Yup it is"
"I'll perform the test later for her when she's awake"
"And probably, if can i hope you can be there"
"Im afraid she'll resist or anything since i heard from butler lee she's afraid of needles"
"Also to you know, i dont want to be accused of taking advantage of her or anything"
"Afterall, we're of different gender"
"I hope you can understand, Mr Jung" explained Dr.Kim politely

"Oh?"
"Sure no problem, i'll be there with you later" smiled Mr Jung
"I cant be thankful enough to you"

"You dont have to"
"Its my job"

Yuri's side

While lying on her bed, resting since she had caught a cold in the rain, running a high fever,
Yuri's thoughts never left Jessica at all.

Yuri's POV

Sica-ah..
Where are you now..?
At least, at least just let me know you're safe please.
Im really worried, i love you.

I know you do too.
I dont understand, or see the point of you wanting to break up with me.
Its hurting me inside out&im sure it is to you too.
Because i've always believed that you loved me.
Now too, im believing it.
Although you broke my heart, i'll still believe in the love you had in me.

End of Yuri's POV

"Come Yuri"
"Take this" said Mrs Kwon as she came into the room with a tray in her hands.

Quickly wiping her tears off, showing a happy Yuri to Mrs Kwon, not wanting Mrs Kwon to be worried.

"Oh omma" replied Yuri
"Its okay, i dont need this anymore" smiled Yuri

"Dont need it?"
"Why? You're sick Yuri"
"You've to rest with medications" said Mrs Kwon puzzled

"I'll just rest, skip with the medications"
"Dont worry about me, i'll get better" assured Yuri

"But your fever didnt even subside Yul"
"I know you're sad, heartbroken"
"Staying sad&heartbroken all the time wont do any good to your health"
"Neither does it help when you're bottling everything up Yul" said Mrs Kwon worriedly
"I want the best for you, not something that could make you like this"

"Bianeh omma"
"Give me some time please..?"

Any Singaporeans reading this? I've been attending this Cadet Inspector course after graduating from my secondary school's NPCC.
Wanted to go back&serve my school.
So yeah, its held every Saturday.
Boom, there goes my Saturday.
Thats why i couldnt update often, not forgetting my piles of schoolwork.
