"Hey Yul!" shouted Tiffany from her table, waving her hands furiously.

"Oh hey Tiff" replied Yuri with a weak smile, returning a weak wave as she walked over to Tiffany&Taeyeon
"Its great to see you girls here"

"Its been such a long time since i last saw you Yul!"
"How're you now?" asked Taeyeon

"Me?"
"Like how you see.. probably well..?"
"Or not well.." mumbled Yuri sadly

"Why?"
"Whats wrong Yul?" asked Tiffany, feigning ignorance.

"Yup whats wrong?"
"We're friends, share with us" smiled Taeyeon assuringly as she patted on the seat beside her, motioning Yuri to take a seat.

Yuri then slowly sat down after telling Sooyoung&YoonA that she'll joining them shortly.

"Well.."
"Have you all seen Sica recently..?" asked Yuri sadly

"Nope!" replied Taeyeon&Tiffany almost immediately

"Sica broke up with me.."
"Her heart went wrong again.."
"She didnt want me to suffer the pain of losing her"
"So Sica broke up with me, wanted me to find someone new"
"To replace.."
"Her.." sighed Yuri with watery eyes
"But Taeyeon&Tippani, you all know i wont"
"I cant live without Sica"
"I really missed her" sobbed Yuri bitterly
"I really need her"

"Awww~"
"Yuri, dont cry.."
"We know, we understand that.." hushed Taeyeon as she pulled Yuri into a comforting hug

While Yuri was sobbing in Taeyeon's embrace, Tiffany made eye contact with Taeyeon,
asking if they should tell Yuri the truth.
Yuri wasnt even in any better state than Jessica, she lost plenty of weight from what Tiffany&Taeyeon can see.
Why should the deeply in love lovers be separated?
Even if its facing the biggest obstacle of their life, they shouldnt even be separated.

Yes, thats right, not wanting the other half to suffer is also a noble love.
But, considering how the other half's feeling is also important, right?

With a slight nod&sigh from Taeyeon, Tiffany decided to tell Yuri the truth.
Clearing , Tiffany startled with a serious yet sympathetic expression.

"Erm.. Yul.." start Tiffany seriously
"Taeyeon&I thought that we should actually tell you the truth"
"We cant watch the two of you suffering in silence anymore"
"We're friends, we cant bear to see you all suffer"
"We know Jessica&you are deeply in love with each other but am always faced with the obstacles.."
"Which these obstacles always tried to bring you all apart.."
"But thats what makes you all stronger right?" said Tiffany with a weak smile

"What are you.. trying to say..?"

"Well, what we're trying to say is"
"We'll bring you to Jessica"
"But you'll have to be mentally prepared you know.." said Taeyeon with a sigh

"WHAT?!"
"You all know where is Jessica but lied to me in the first place?!" exclaimed Yuri angrily as she stood up suddenly, gaining the attention of the patrons that were in the restaurant, as well as YoonA&Sooyoung's attention.

"Hey Yul"
"Calm down first"
"We just met her earlier today too"
"Not as early as you thought we did" explained Taeyeon quickly as she pulled Yuri down back to her seat

"Yeah, we were really shocked to see her too"
"It was her dad who brought us to visit her" added Tiffany with a shrug

"How is she now?" asked Yuri, a little calmed down
"She just simply turned her phone off"
"Didnt want to even contact me.."

"I dont know what to say Yul.."
"But you really have to see it for yourself.." said Tiffany
"She's like you, suffering inside out because she lost your presence"

"But she's the one who pushed me out!" defended Yuri
"I wanted to, im willing to stay by her side!"
"But she just didnt want me to!"

"We know"
"But you also know why she did that right?"
"The both of us understand where the both of you are coming from"

"Then when did she even do that?!"
"I told her its okay, its fine!" exploded Yuri once again, this time in tears.
"Bring me to her now!"

"Calm down Yuri"
"We're going to bring you there"
"But shouldnt you go over to your friends or whatsoever to like you know"
"Bid them goodbye or something?"
"They are like looking over here every minute" said Taeyeon pointing to the seat opposite them

Without further delay, Yuri quickly stood up from her seat&walked over to YoonA&Sooyoung.

"YoonA&Sooyoung, im sorry i cant have dinner with you girls anymore" said Yuri as she wiped off her tears
"But as promised, its my treat"
"So here" said Yuri as she passed them a few 50,000 won bills to them
"I'll make this up for you girls soon"
"Please understand, now there's this thats much more important than this dinner"
"Im sorry" apologised Yuri quickly as she ran out of the restaurant to meet up with Taeyeon&Tiffany.

"So are you done?" asked Tiffany

"Yeah, lets go" sighed Yuri, worried inside out for Jessica.

Jessica's side

Jessica was lying on her bed, weak&pale with wires, infus&oxygen mask over her.
It was indeed true that her health is deterioting fast, it was obviously a non joking matter.
But once in awhile, alone her room, Jessica would break down into tears after thinking of Yuri.
Jessica couldnt help but miss Yuri badly, especially when her health is deterioting.
Jessica wished so so much that she could see Yuri for the last time, before she passes on.
She knew herself that, other than a heart transplant, nothing could be done to help her now.
There was no regrets except for one, unable to give Yuri happiness.

"Yuri.." sobbed Jessica sadly as she leaned onto her right side of the bed, backing facing the door.
"I really.. missed you.."
"Im sorry.. that i've broke.. up with you.."

Yuri, Taeyeon&Tiffany who had arrived at Jessica's mansion, stood by the side of the door,
listening to Jessica's sobs.
It was a heart shattering scene to the three of them.
How weak Jessica had became yet was still crying over Yuri.

"Yul.."

Yuri couldnt take it anymore.
She barged into Jessica's room, flung the door open fully instead of watching from a small gap of the door.

"If you missed me so much, you shouldnt even have broken up with me!" exploded Yuri in anger
"You shouldnt even hung up my calls!"
"The more shouldnt you ignore my calls or even reject my call all the time!" shouted Yuri with tears flowing down her face like a stream of river.

"Yul..?" called Jessica surprised as she slowly turned over to the other side of the room but her emotion turned cold right immediately after she saw Yuri.
Gathering all the energy she was left with, she sat up slowly, bearing the piercing pain that was going through her chest.

While Taeyeon&Tiffany also walked into the room, with a guilty look on their faces.

"We're sorry Sica"
"We didnt mean to bring Yuri here but we really cant stand seeing the both of you in pain" said Taeyeon&Tiffany

"Relax Yul.." whispered Tiffany softly
"Calm down.."

"What?!"
"Calm down?! How do you expect me to?!"
"My EX-girlfriend said she missed me" mocked Yuri sacarstically, emphasizing the word 'EX'.
"But now, look at her"
"She doesnt even understand how i felt when she initiated the break up"
"Now, she doesnt even look like she's missing me"
"Look at her expression"
"Did you all even met the wrong person?" laughed Yuri bitterly

"Yul, you really mistaken Sica.." explained Taeyeon
"She really missed you.."

"Forget it Taeyeon.."
"I dont.. miss her.." said Jessica as she slowly took off her oxygen mask
"I dont need.. her too.."
"And right.. Kwon Yuri.."
"I dont miss.. you.."
"Your eyes aint de..ceiving.. you.." coughed Jessica as she clutched her chest in pain

Watching Jessica coughed in pain, Yuri felt her heartached.
BADLY.
For Jessica.
Wanting to go over to her so much&care for her but Yuri's legs felt like it was rooted to the ground.
Unable to move.
Yuri couldnt get over the hurt Jessica implicated on her, that she broke up with her because Jessica thought that Yuri would be better off without her.

"So are.. you glad.. now..?" asked Jessica weakly
"That you..'ve seen the true.. colours.. of me.."

"Sica-ah.." called Taeyeon
"Dont.. dont be so hard on yourself.." said Taeyeon sadly
"We'll leave the both of you here to talk"
"Please, clear this out"
"Dont suffer in silence if you all really loved each other" added Taeyeon as she walked out, dragging Tiffany along.

Before Tiffany got out of the room, she whispered into Yuri's ears.

"Take care of her"
"She's no longer that strong anymore, dont make her even weaker"
 
After Tiffany&Taeyeon closed the door behind them, leaving Jessica&Yuri in the room.
It was silent.
But was soon broken by Yuri.
Pondering for a few minutes, Yuri decided to eat the humble pie.
She really didnt want to continue quarrelling with Jessica, although deep inside her heart, she still felt really injustice.
But the love she had for Jessica was really nothing fake but 101% real.

With a sigh, she started, "Sica.."

"Im really sorry for exploding at you just now" said Yuri sadly as she shook her head
"I really love you.. but i just.. couldnt.."
"Couldnt accept that fact that you broke up with me.."
"Just because you arent confident that we'll fight this through"
"And that i'll be much more better without you in my life" explained Yuri, trying to be as calm as possible.
"You know it yourself, you've entered my life&there's no way exiting it" added Yuri as she sat down beside Jessica with a pair of loving yet watery eyes looking at Jessica.

Jessica, on the other hand was trying to hold back her tears.
Trying her very best not to let her tears fall infront of Yuri, showing Yuri how much she longed for Yuri.
Jessica really wanted Yuri to get on with life, especially after Jessica had departed from this world.

"Look Sica" continued Yuri as she held onto Jessica's infused hand
"Remember this bracelet?" asked Yuri as she pointed to the silvery bracelet on Jessica's hands
"Remember that when i gave this to you, what did you say?"

Jessica's flashback;

"Come over here Sica" said Yuri as she motioned Jessica to sit down beside her on the bed while Yuri grabbed something out of her bag.
"Here, this is for you"

"Whats this?" asked Jessica as she opened the box
"Oooo"
"Its a bracelet"

"Yup, i had it custom made"
"I have one too" said Yuri as she shook her hands that were wearing the bracelet.
"Mine has a stethescope pendant on it"
"While yours had pills on it"

"Why does my have pills?!"
"And yours with that nice stethescope!"

"Because you're now my patient!"
"I'll tie you up with me!" said Yuri as a matter-of-factly

"Its unfair!"

"Life's never fair"
"Dont want it?"
"Okay" said Yuri as she took back the bracelet.

"Wait!"
"Whats given cannot be taken back!"
"Dont you know that?" grumbled Jessica as she snatched the bracelet back from Yuri&wore it on her wrist immediately.

"You know Sica"
"Once its on, you cant take it off anymore"

"Why?"

"Because i said so"

"Fine fine!"

"Lets take a picture as a proof of you being my first&last only patient!" said Yuri as she grabbed her camera&took a quick snapshot of it.

End of Jessica's flashback;

"I told you"
"Once its on, you cant take it off"
"I'll tie you with me"
"Because i've already took the pledge silently in my heart that i'll always be with you"
"Being your personal doctor, the one&only" said Yuri
"I know, you're sick now"
"I know, you're afraid that you cant fight through this current major obstacle"
"Yes, i know you cant"
"You cant fight it alone of course"
"But you know, with me here"
"We'll definitely fight through it"
"Believe me Sica.."

Jessica's POV

Are you sure about this Yuri..
Im definitely, for sure not going to live through this..
Unless i undergo a heart transplant..
Even so, i know its heart to even find a donor in the first place.
Getting a heart transplant felt like im some monster,
taking people's heart to live..

End of Jessica's POV

"Sica..?" called Yuri again worriedly
"Why arent you responding to me?" asked Yuri, looking at the cold yet distant eyes
"We werent like that, remember?"
"Sica-ah.."
"Please.." said Yuri as she held onto both of Jessica's hands but before Yuri could continue, Jessica started clutching her chest in pain again, coughing&gasping for air with bitter tears in her eyes rolling down her cheeks.

"Sica?!" exclaimed Yuri in shocked as she held onto Jessica, trying to make her lie back down.
"Lie down first!" instructed Yuri worriedly as she shouted for Taeyeon&Tiffany's help.
"Taeyeon&Tippani!"

Within seconds, the duo came into the room&was shocked to see what had happened.

"What the..?"
"I told you not to agitate her Yul!" scolded Tiffany
"What can we help you with?"

"I didnt!"
"I talked to her nicely, i swear!"
"Help me hold on to her"
"I need to put this mask onto her" instructed Yuri seriously as she went over to the oxygen tank&fiddled with the knob before putting the mask over Jessica's face
"Hold on Sica.." cooed Yuri worriedly
"You'll feel better soon.."

After fiddling with the machines, injecting different types of liquid into Jessica's infus, Jessica started to slowly calm down,
breathing slowly&weakly.

"Phew~" exasperated Taeyeon
"Really had a scare of my life"

"Me too"
"Yul, why didnt you take care of Sica!" blamed Tiffany as she slap Yuri's back which caused Yuri to wince a little

"No.."
"Dont.." said Jessica weakly as she saw Tiffany hitting her beloved one

"Sica?!" called Yuri immediately as she heard Jessica's response
"Look at me" said Yuri as she cupped Jessica's face in her hands
"Dont do this to yourself nor me anymore okay?"
"Just dont.."
"Lets not suffer without each other together anymore okay..?"
"Let me take care of you Sica.."
"Please..?" said Yuri as she brushed Jessica's fringe aside, landing a sweet yet sad peck on Jessica's forehead

"Yul.." started Jessica as tears finally found their way through&out of Jessica's eyes, down her cheeks.
"Im going to leave you.. soon.."
"To be alone.. in this world.."
"Why..?"
"Why did you.. come back.. to me..?" sobbed Jessica bitterly
"Im not worth.. your time.."

"No Sica.."
"Dont, you're the one&only that i feel are not wasting my time"
"You're my time"
"You're my love"
"You're my everything"
"I only need you to be with me, thats all i need"
"Please, just dont push me away" pleaded Yuri

Tiffany&Taeyeon's POV

Finally, they are back together.
No matter how i sees it, they're just the perfect match.
Always so sweet to each other.
But, why is it that fate is always playing with them..?

End of Tiffany&Taeyeon's POV

"Bianeh.. Yul.." replied Jessica weakly
"I just.. i cant live.."
"Without a heart transplant.."
"But heart transplant.. you know the difficulty in finding.. one.."
"I might not even make.. it to one.."

"No Sica, you wont"
"You'll make it through"
"Trust me!" insisted Yuri

"No.. Yul.."
"You dont know.."
"I've been receiving.. treatments.."
"I've been.. running fever.. almost everyday.."
"Nothing's.. going right.."
"Treatments getting.. stronger.."
"My body.. getting weaker.."
"Side effects.. increasing.."
"Fever forever.. not going off.."
"Yul.. im so sick.. of all these.."
"I hate the needles.. the oxygen.. mask.. medicine..IV.."
"Wires.. machines.."
"All these.."

"Sica.. listen"
"I know all these hurts you"
"I know, i wished i could take all these pain for you"
"As much as i wanted to, i cant"
"But you can share it with me, i'll understand everything"
"Just dont give yourself up" persuaded Yuri which sounded more like pleading.

"I dont know.. Yul.."
"I just felt.. pain here, there.. everywhere.."
"Only when im.. asleep then.. i feel better.." said Jessica slowly as she took big gasps of air.
"You know.. fever.."
"Not low grade but high.."
"It makes.. my whole body ache.. so badly.."
"That i felt like.. crying Yul.."
"My head hurts.. because of it.."
"My chest hurts.."
"My whole body aches.. almost everyday.."
"The painkiller.. wasnt even working..."
"I had side effects.. throwing up..&throwing up.."
"I couldnt.. even take down.. food.."
"Look.." added Jessica as she showed her hands to Yuri

Her hands, was full of obvious holes&bruises.
It was caused by the insertion of the infus on her skinny hands,
and both her hands was inserted with an infus.

Slowly caressing her bruised up hands, Yuri's heart ached.
Watching how much Jessica went through, without her by Jessica's side.

"Im sorry Sica.." started Yuri
"I didnt know.."
"I didnt know you're going through so much.." said Yuri gultily

"Its okay.. Yul.." smiled Jessica as she reached for Yuri's face
"As long as.. you're here.."

"Yeah, im here"
"Sica, rest first alright?" cooed Yuri sadly
"I'll be here with you"
"You'll be seeing me everytime you open your eyes"
"I promise" said Yuri as she couldnt bear to see Jessica talking despite that much pain that has been inflicted on her.

"Okay.."
"Saranghae.."

"I love you too" smiled Yuri

As soon as Jessica's asleep, Yuri walked out of the room with Taeyeon&Tiffany.

"Thanks for today"
"I couldnt thank the both of you enough" said Yuri sincerely

"You dont have to thank Yul"
"We're more than glad to see you two back together"
"Stay strong!" encourged Taeyeon with a grin

"Yup hwaiting Yul!"
"We'll be praying for the happiness of the both of you"
"Im sure a heart donor would be up soon" smiled Tiffany assuringly
"We'll get going then"
"Will visit soon"

"Take care" added Taeyeon as she pulled Tiffany out of the mansion.

As soon as Tiffany&Taeyeon left the mansion, Yuri went down to the living room,
to find butler lee as usual, in the living room, supervising the maids&servants working.

"Hey butler lee" said Yuri casually as she walked towards him

"Ms Yuri..?" asked butler lee a little surprised
"Why are you here?"

"Are you asking the obvious?"
"Im here for Sica of course!" replied Yuri

"But Ms Jessica said she doesnt want to see you.." answered butler lee sadly

"Tiffany&Taeyeon brought me here to see her"
"And, we're together again" smiled Yuri but the smile disappeared within seconds

"Really?"
"Im so glad you're here Ms Yuri"
"Ms Jessica really needed you"
"You have got no idea what she went through the past few days, weeks&months" said butler lee sadly as he shook his head

"Well, you can fill me up now" replied Yuri
"Im on all ears"
"I want to know what happened to Sica when im not with her" added Yuri

Butler lee's flashback;

XX-XX-XX (Date)

"AHHHHH~" screamed Jessica from her room in pain
"I dont want!" struggled Jessica violently as she swung her arms around the room, knocking down machines, ripping her infus&wires that was attached on her off.

The nurses&Dr.Kim was trying to insert yet another infus on Jessica's other free hand since the one that has it was filled with bags of solution already.

"Jessica-sshi, please calm down" said Dr.Kim calmly as he tried to hold Jessica down together with the nurses

But Jessica wasnt cooperating, left with no choice, Dr.Kim&the nurses tied Jessica's hands&legs to the side of the bedframe,
before inserting the needles back into her hands.
While doing that, tears&screams were heard from Jessica's room.
It was a heartshattering scream, Jessica was in real pain.

"I DONT WANT IT!" shouted Jessica but Dr.Kim just ignored Jessica's scream&immediately inserted the infus into Jessica's hands but Jessica's hands started bleeding profusely because while Dr.Kim was inserting it into her hands, Jessica moved which caused it to to pierce into Jessica's veins which resulted in the bleeding.

".." cursed Dr.Kim as he quickly get the cotton&applied pressure on it while he removed the needle.
With a sigh, Dr.Kim turned to the nurses&told them to hold onto Jessica's arms tightly while he inserted the infus into her other hand.

"AHHH~!" cried Jessica as Dr.Kim inserted the infus into her other hand
"Omma.. take me with you.."
"Jessi doesnt want to be here anymore.."

"Hey Jessica-sshi"
"Its alright now.."
"Dont cry, we're left with one more.." cooed Dr.Kim

Actually, Dr.Kim's heart also ached at the scene of Jessica's crying even though the truth is it aint that painful at all.
He knew that Jessica was actually going through a lot of pain,
but whenever Mr Jung went to visit her, she would just put on a smile&said everything's just fine.

"Dr.Kim.."
"Please.. stop.." pleaded Jessica with her tears filled face
"Please.."
"Just let me die slowly.."
"I dont want all these anymore.."

"I cant Jessica-sshi"
"I cant give my patient up even if she's going to give herself up"
"Moreoever, Mr Jung couldnt have agreed to this idea too" said Dr. Kim as he slowly ed Jessica's top
"Im going to insert this infus here" informed Dr.Kim as he pointed to Jessica's upper chest
"Since you're right hand is bleeding, i cant do it there"
"After healing, i'll put it on your hands okay?" added Dr.Kim as he slowly brushed Jessica's fringe away from her face

Jessica was really exhausted after screaming&thrashing around.
All she had in her was a pained expression with a river of tears down her face.
While Dr.Kim was carefully inserting the infus into her upper chest vein, he was trying his best not inflict any pain on Jessica.
But a little pain was unavoidable which caused Jessica to wince&flinch.

"Hey, dont" cooed Dr.Kim
"Everything's going to be just fine" assured Dr.Kim kindly
"Its going to be done, this will just hurt a little"
"If you move, its going to hurt more" explained Dr.Kim as the nurses applied the pressure on Jessica's arms which made her unable to move about.

After a minute or two, Dr.Kim had finally got the needle into Jessica's chest vein&heaved a sigh of relief.

"Look, its fine right?" smiled Dr.Kim kindly as he motioned the nurses to pack the things up while he put the nasal canula over Jessica's nose.
"I promise that it didnt hurt much, right?"
"I'll be back few days later okay?"
"Feel better" added Dr.Kim before exiting Jessica's room, leaving Jessica to rest.

XX-XX-XX (Date)

"Hey Jessica-sshi"
"Are you feeling better?" asked Dr.Kim as he entered the room
"Let me take a look at your hands to see if it has healed alright?" said Dr.Kim as he picked up Jessica's bruised hands
"Hmm.. looks like it healed pretty well"
"Erm, you all get ready a new infus"
"We'll remove the one on her chest" instructed Dr.Kim professionally
"This is gonna hurt a little okay?"
"But its nothing intolerable" added Dr.Kim trying to assure Jessica's insecure heart.

"No.." sobbed Jessica
"Please.."
"Just leave it like this.." pleaded Jessica with watery eyes
"I've already went through the pain.. having this long needle into my chest.."
"Now you want to remove it..?"
"And changed it to be on my hands..?" cried Jessica

"Aww.."
"Im sorry, but its better to be on your hands"
"Your chest is far too dangerous because of your heart problem" explained Dr.Kim as he ed Jessica's top, wiping it with an alcoholic swab&slowly removing it which caused Jessica to wince.
"Here, its out" smiled Dr.Kim as he showed Jessica the long catheter which made Jessica flinched a little at the length of it.
"Now, dont move today okay?"
"Its just a few seconds pain, if not its gonna hurt more" warned Dr.Kim as he slowly inserted the infuse into Jessica's bruised up hands.

Well, her hands were all bruised up, saying that it wont hurt is just lies right?

"Here, you're good today" complimented Dr.Kim with a satisfied smile
"Lets do a mini-checkup okay?"
"We'll see how you are today" said Dr.Kim as he motioned the nurses to do a quick checkup for Jessica on her blood pressure, temperature, sugar level&etc.

"Dr.Kim" said the nurse as she showed Dr.Kim the thermometer reading

"And this too" said the other who showed all the different readings of the machines.

"Hmm.."
"Dont look good, probably because she couldnt take any food down"
"Her fever, doesnt seem like they wanna leave her"
"Visits her almost everyday" sighed Dr.Kim as he instructed the nurses to bring down the current packs of solution but replaced it with strong ones.

After they are done, Dr.Kim bid Jessica goodbye&left the mansion

End of butler lee's flashback;

"All these happened like almost everytime Dr.Kim visits Ms Jessica" said butler lee as he shook his head
"My heart just ached at the sight of Ms Jessica"
"I really hope she feels better, Ms Yuri"
"When will a heart donor appear?"
"That Dr.Kim said he had pushed Ms Jessica up to be the first person on the waiting list"
"But why still hasnt receive any news yet?" asked butler lee as tears fell down his cheeks

"Heart donor is rare.."
"Thats why.." sighed Yuri after hearing what happened to Jessica when she werent by her side
"I seriously cant imagine what Jessica went through.."

"Me too.."
"I cant imagine because im watching it all the time Ms Yuri"
"My heart goes out to Ms Jessica" smiled butler lee weakly
"She's the bravest i ever seen" added butler lee

"She's the bravest too"
"In my heart, she'll live, im sure"

Yuri's POV

I'll make you live Sica..
Even to the extent that i have to donate you my heart.
I will, make you live.
You deserve much more than these pain..

Far more..
I love you, Jung Jessica..
