"AeRin-ah. wake up."

I rolled over, pulling my pillow over my face. "No," I said, my voice muffled. "Another hour."

"No way." I felt fingers flicking my bare feet, "Hurry up. You'll have to take the bus if you don't wake this instant."

JoonMyun tickled my sides now as I laughed like a lunatic. "S-stop!!" I said, gasping for air.

"Get up then!" My brother continued to tickle me as I squealed. 

I gave up and pushed him away from me. "Arasso arasso. I'm up! "

He grinned, "Get ready. Fast."

"What? Why?" I wiggled my eyebrows. "It's still so early."

"Oh, you know." He got up from my bed and headed towards the door. 

He left the room then. For a second, I just lay on my soft bed, so tempted to let sleep pull me in and under, back to dreaming. I took a glance at the digital wall clock. It was only seven in the morning and school only starts at eight thirty.

What's so special about today?

"Omo!" I pushed the pillow off my face and sat back in bed, looking out the window beside me. The sky was clear and blue, the waves crashing close in. Another nice day.

I face palmed myself and quickly got ready as I remembered why my brother woke me up. 

Guess what day today is, yorobun! Yes, you're right! February 14, Saint Valentine's Day! After all these years, I can finally participate in this very important event in high school! ♥

Oddly, I was always absent to school on February 14 every year. Always down with flu and whatnot. 

Finally~ I, Kim AeRin, seventeen years old, am going to give hand-made chocolates to the guy I like! I spent two days to make these and I really hope he likes it. 

I skipped to the kitchen happily and took my homemade chocolate truffles from the fridge. 

"Are you really giving those to him?" My brother asked just as he was making himself a chicken sandwich. 

"Uh huh," I smile, "Kai said he likes chocolates."

JoonMyun leaned against the island, "And how did you find out?"

"His fangirls." I simply replied.

He nodded then reached out for a truffle. I slapped his hands lightly and frowned, "Oppa. These are not for you."

JoonMyun rolled his eyes, "I have to test these! Who knows if they taste really horrible?"

"Oppa!" I said, "I haven't even tried these yet. They're for him."
