coffee shop

“minyoung-ah are you okay?”

You said.

“no .. I’m not okay !! I have a problem“

“okay..”

“my cousin is arriving and she’s staying here, for the time being”

“then? “

“she’s Japanese, not really .. I mean half-japanese”

“she can speak Korean?”

“of course”

“so, what’s the problem?”

“I .. don’t know .. “

You sigh .. sometimes this friend of yours is very complicated.

“minyoung”

“mian .. I mean she’s okay and such, but she’s very rebellious. I don’t know if I can handle her”

“your close .. right?”

She nods.

“were very close, we even have endearment to each other”

“So, when will she arrive?”

“I don’t know, that’s why am worried, this cousin of mine like surprises, when she called she told me she’ll be arriving soon”

“oh .. well good luck”

She nods. You left her to take a costumers order, and you were shock to see ‘HIM’.

“one cappuccino, please and a waffle” he said with a smile.

You were mesmerize, this is the first time you saw he’s face – he don’t have his scarf on – but still wearing a bullcap. He’s .. familiar..

“miss?”

“oh .. r-right away sir ..”

You quickly headed to the kitchen.

Minyoung was still there sulking.

“yah, minyoung-ah .. a cappuccino and a waffle”

“what will I do…”

“yah!!”

“why are you shouting?”

“you’re not listening”

“oh..”

“Cappuccino and a waffle”

She hurriedly prepare your order.. how did he know I work here.

“here you go”

“oh .. komawo”

“here you go sir”

“thank you”

You left him.

You got busy and didn’t notice him leave. As you clean his table you were astonish to see three long-stem red roses with a note hanging.

“to: ~~~-ah (don’t bother to know why I know your name J)

This is for you:

roses are red

violets are blue,

the smile you gave me

makes  my heart like you”

As you read the note out loud.

“~~~-ah, your face is red are you okay? And where did those roses came from?”

“huh? .. amhh ..”

you smile and left her.

“yah!!”

ONEW's POV

An hour ago …

“mmmh, good morning”

As he approach a busy Sojin.

“oh, you scared me .. g-good morning, what can I do for you?”

“I know you know me right?”

She nods with a smile.

“and you promise not to tell anyone right?”

She nods.

“mmmh, you know me-“

“just cut to the chase”

“oh, o-okay, that waitress .. mmmh .. the one I help .. w-what’s her n-name?”

“~~~-ah, wea?”

“ammh .. I just want to know where does she work . I mean her other job ,”

“why do you ask?”

“I just want to .. ammh .. I just want to .. v-visit her”

She smile. “ don’t you have schedules?”

“I have I just .. you know escape, but I just want to visit her, it’s been months, that I didn’t have the chance to come back because I’m busy with the promotions and stuffs—“

“you like her don’t you?”

“ha.. mmh .. a-ani .. I just”

“you like her, it’s written all over your face”

He sigh, this girl is sharp

“at my friend’s coffee shop, just a few blocks from here .. “

“thanks” he was about to leave when—

“I think you should slowly, reveal yourself to her .. your an idol.. and it’s hard to deal with this kind of matter, if you like my friend it’s better to let her know the true you, you know she’s very naïve and even complicated sometimes, she will not know something if you don’t point it out .. she doesn’t even know any KPOP band .. until I told her .. just a piece of advice.. “

He nods. “I understand” and took he’s scarf off.

“that’s alright, now I can see you face .. and please .. don’t hurt her .. she gone through a lot ..”

“I’ll keep that in mind” and off he go.

As he was walking he came across a flower shop .. he try his best not to get caught .. and brought three long-stemmed red roses ..  after he got the flowers the owner told him.

“will you give that to your ‘girlfriend’?”

“ammh .. “ he nod reluctantly.

“it’s sweet to attach a note on it .. girls like that .. wait okay”

The owner went back with an empty card and a pen.

“here .. you can write it here” he motion a table.

He sits at the table and follow the owner’s suggestion.  well it’s not a bad idea.

“mmh, what will I write …”

He was like that for more than a minute or so..

He was going insane, and frustrated when he notice a poem in the shops wall ..

Roses are red,

Violet are blue,

Sugar is sweet,

Just like you ..

He smile as a your smiling face popped out of his mind ..

“it’s cheesy, but I don’t have time left ..”

Then he wrote it but change the last two parts, with the thing he likes about you …

When he finishes he thank the owner and off he go to the coffee shop.

I hope she’ll like it ..

With the thought in mind he open the coffee shop’s door and sits on the far corner, as you notice him .. he grow tense but relieve to see you .. happy when you approach him and have that ‘i-think-i-know-you’ look but still did your job .. when the order arrive you eat quietly as he watches you busying yourself with other costumer’s order .. when he’s phone rang .. you are currently at the kitchen that time ..

“yeobo-“

“hyung, where are you?”

“oh, taemin-ah .. I’m at a coffee shop”

“get back here LEE JINKI!! Manager-hyung is looking for you”

“kibum-ah, I’m your hyung ..”

“just get back here hyung .. “ taemin’s voice, makes him sigh ..

“a-arasso .. I’ll be right there” and he end the call .. you are still busy and so he left the roses and went out ..

I hope she’ll like it ..
