"Mom, Dad, please," I beg, a tear rolling down my cheek, "I only live once and I want this more than anything. Please."
"I don't know, Olyvia," My dad says, his eyes discerning. "You'll be in Korea and we'll be in America. What if something happens?"
"That's what the company's for, Dad. They'll take care of me. They don't want a future idol to be hurt."
"And school?" My Mother asks. "You can't drop out of highschool."
"I won't, Mom. I promise."
"Okay, okay," She says. "I'm all for it."

"Dad?" I ask, pleading at him with my teary eyes, "I already passed the auditions. I just need to go to Korea next week to start my training."

"Alright," My Dad finally agrees. "On the condition that you promise you won't give up at this. I won't have you getting involved with something you're not serious about."
"I promise, Dad."
