"You are most probably the weirdest person I've ever met," Zhoumi his eyebrows at her antics. "Stop stressing out so much!" he chastises her as Victoria scrambles around looking for the ingredients needed for dinner that night. "It's just dinner...chill."
She ignores him and continues to work industriously. (He can't stop himself from noticing just how cute she is when she's stressed.) His cheeks redden the slightest tinge of pink, thankful that she is too (adorably) busy to see. He awkwardly leans back in the chair, fiddling with his thumbs.
"How about hot pot?" she suggests.
He breaks into a blissful grin. "The girls would like it for sure -- some good ol' Chinese food," he agrees.
He watches her scurrying around in her apron a few minutes more until he regretfully gets up to leave. "Well--" he starts, but is silenced by a sudden pair of slender arms around his waist and a smooth peck on the cheek. He stares at her questionably, his heart racing due to the surprise contact.
"Dinner isn't for them...it's for us," she whispers, using her chopsticks to plop a fish ball into his gaping mouth.
"Qian-ah, you certainly are something."
