The Curse of the Spider
Description
Something always seemed off about the school. From the sudden acceptance letter, to the ominous grey clouds that never seemed to disappear, everything seemed strange. It wasn't that dream high school that Jungkook always imagined, but aside from the odd feeling that something was always following him, it was great. He made a few cool friends and even started getting butterflies in his stomach when a certain someone spoke to him, let alone cast a small glance at him. Even if there was something uncanny about the school he wasn't going to let anything get in the way of having the best high school experience possible.
Meanwhile on the other side of campus Jiu was staring at a jar which housed the spider she had just caught. She usually hated insects, but something about this spider was calling her, telling her to pick it up. The spider hadn't moved since it was placed in the jar, and was instead, staring at her. As if in a trance, Jiu was drawn to it. It was only when her friend tapped her on the shoulder did Jiu break eye contact with the spider. As she left the room with her friend, a large black shadow grew from under the spider.

Jungkook was never afraid of the supernatural. He enjoyed watching horror movies, and didn't blink an eye when the protagonists were being haunted; but that didn't mean it was real... Right? Lately, he had been questioning this, especially after attending his new high school. It was a very old school, in the middle of nowhere, and he had the feeling that something was always watching him.
It was the night after his classmate Jiu captured a spider, he had the strangest dream about being devoured by a spider. He then woke up to the sound of bones or something crunching. The room was unusually dark, so when he turned to his window to check on the moonlight he saw thousands of spiders crawling on it. The window burst open and the spiders came pouring in. Before Jungkook could run he was overwhelmed.
The next morning when Jungkook told his classmates, they told him he was insane. It wasn't until later that he learned a few others had the same experience.

Jungkook – A first year student. He's a shy, city boy who dreams of making lots of friends and having the best high school life possible.
Taehyung – A mysterious second year student. He barely speaks unless spoken to. He has a murderous gaze that many find attractive, yet scary. His best friend is Jimin.
Jin – A third year student, who enjoys cooking and eating. He can be a nag, but he always has the best intentions in mind.
Yoongi – A lazy third year student with an impressive set of foul vocabulary. He would rather spend his days sleeping.
Jimin – A bubbly second year student. He's a social butterfly that can befriend everyone, but as small as he is, he can make anyone's life hell if he decides to. Taehyung's best friend.
Hoseok – A second year student who loves to dance. He's very energetic and positive.
Namjoon – An intelligent second year student. It's rumored that all of his brain is focused on learning and retaining knowledge that his brain doesn't care about basic body functions. He's very clumsy and most likely to start a fire from tripping over a rock.
Jiu – A third year student, can be mistaken as a first year student. She enjoys food just as much as she enjoys working out.
Yoohyeon – A second year student. She enjoys studying just as much as she enjoys playing computer games.
Gahyeon – A first year student. She's considered one of the guys. Her mind is filled with lots of random information she learned off the internet.
Sua – An energetic third year student. She's considered the iest girl on campus by all of the boys.
Dami – A quiet second year student. As quiet as she is, she's actually very sociable and has many friends. She enjoys reading in her spare time.
Siyeon – A second year student. If looks could kill, she would be a monster, but she was just born with it. She's actually a very adorable girl with a 4D personality.
Handong – A classy second year student. Beyond her beauty and manners, she's actually quite blunt with her words. She has no filter.

Hello!!! Lately I've been listening to BTS and Dreamcatcher mashups. The mashup of "In the Frozen" and "Louder than Bombs" is a siren's song. I definitely recommend it!
Anyways, I hope you enjoy my story. It's my first time writing about Dreamcatcher, but I've enjoyed their music for a while. I also haven't dabbled in the horror genre too much since I hate it, but I'm going to give it a shot. Enjoy! -mikimika101
