“I’d be fine.” I lied. 

I know it will take another lifetime to move on from you.

Thinking that I may break, he held me close.

Using all my strength, I lift my face to meet his eyes, gave him a smile, held his hands and said “I can cope”.

Donghae POV

There’s indeed no easy way to break somebody’s heart.

I love her, she’s my air. My home. But my stupid self would like to grow more. I thought I needed a space. 

Everyone can easily assume that I love my career over her. 

She should be mad at me, but no, she stayed calm. What a lady.

I held her close as she tends to break easily. She met my gaze, squeezed my hands and bid goodbye.

That was 2 years ago.

Gosh, I missed her.
