Birds chirped as the sun’s blazing rays heats up the weather. It also entered the room of their small apartment. As Eunseo felt the sunrays hitting her eyes, she checked the clock on the dresser, time for them to wake up.

She turned to her right and smiled at the sleeping girl next to her. She kissed her exposed shoulder and the girl moved to face her. She then wrapped her other arms around her and kissed her on her forehead.

Cheng Xiao looked up at Eunseo and gave her the warmest smile. Eunseo played with her hair and tucked it behind her ear.

“Good morning love” Eunseo greeted Cheng Xiao.

“Good morning” she greeted her back and gave her a kissed on the lips.

Eunseo and Cheng Xiao had been married for 2 years. They lived in a single-bedroom apartment, way smaller from the mansion that Cheng Xiao used to grew up with. Cheng Xiao came from a family of billionaires too like her cousins Xuan Yi and Mei Qi.

She was the first heir to her family’s riches but she had to give up everything she had for Eunseo. She chose Eunseo over wealth in which her family had disowned her.

Cheng Xiao sat up, blanket covering her body. Eunseo playfully tugged her down and hover on top of her. She looked at her with loving eyes. Cheng Xiao traces her face with her finger in which Eunseo playfully bites once it reached her lips.

“You have to stand up now so I can make breakfast” Cheng Xiao said.

“Can I have you as my breakfast instead?” Eunseo replied teasingly.

“You’ll be late if you do that”

Eunseo then tickled Cheng Xiao. The slightly younger girl was resisting from the tickles but her husband won’t stop any moment. Yes, Cheng Xiao calls her husband.

“Eunseo stop”

“Okay”

The taller girl stopped tickling her but buried her face on Cheng Xiao’s neck. The way Eunseo kissed her neck made Cheng Xiao moaned. The latter then travelled to and kissed her gently but more passionately.

“You are really going to be late you know”

“Don’t worry I got this”

By then Eunseo covered their selves with the blanket that was stopping them from exposing their bodies. Soon the room was once filled with moans and soft whimpers. Love is the only thing you can hear from it.

They were on their way back to Seoul and the heavy atmosphere they left in Shanghai somehow made them awkward.

Dawon is now sitting with Mei Qi as Exy is seated with Xuan Yi. She glanced on the back and saw Xuan Yi’s head resting on Exy’s arm in which the latter has her arm wrapped around her lover. Behind her were Nayoung and Roa who were also sleeping. The benders arms were locked at each other and Nayoung’s head was on Roa’s shoulder.

Seola who was seated on the other side of the plane saw how Dawon’s eyes were darted on the lovers behind them.

“You aren’t jealous of them?” Seola asked.

“Nope, I know mine will come soon” Dawon said.

“You really believe in fate?” Seola questioned.

“Yes, I know the right one for me is just around the corner”

“Surprisingly, we have the same belief” Mei Qi joined the conversation.

Dawon looked at her and Mei Qi was smiling at her so brightly. The taller girl couldn’t help but smile as well.

“You guys looks good together” Seola commented.

Dawon just shook her head and continued reading her magazine. Seola then look at the girl on her left, Bona, she observed her. She couldn’t help but admit that Bona is indeed a beauty, no wonder she was casted as a model before. Her eyes then darted towards her lips, they look so inviting and Seola would want to know how soft those lips were. She was leaning closer, she could feel Bona’s breath but snap out of reality when Dawon called for her name.

“Unnie, love is really sweeter the second time around”

Seola looked at Dawon and her sight was looking towards the ex-lovers turned lovers again. She looked at them and saw Exy kissing Xuan Yi’s forehead tenderly.

“I’m going to die of diabetes here” Seola said.

“Let them be” she heard Bona said.

Seola realized that she was still inches away from her, she moved back upon realizing Bona’s eyes were open and looking at her.

Cheng Xiao received a phone call from one of her old friend, Kyulkyung, asking her for a meet-up in which she agreed. Eunseo already left for work and she had finished her house chores. Cheng Xiao is living a life of a typical housewife. She is a doctor by profession but she let go of everything for love.

It is not that Eunseo does not want her to work but since she chose her over anything else she want to give at least a good life to Cheng Xiao. Since she has a degree in oriental medicine, Cheng Xiao sometimes do some part –time work in an acupuncture clinic.

Cheng Xiao heads to the shop where she would meet her friend. It did not take long for her to arrive in the same destination as it was just a bus away from home. Cheng Xiao who drives the most expensive cars before got used into riding public vehicles.

She entered the café and saw Kyulkyung waiving at her. She smiled at her friend and heads to where she is seated.

“Xiao Xiao!”

“Qiong Qiong!”

They hugged each other and started to ask for each other’s whereabouts. It is not a secret that Cheng Xiao is married and Kyulkyung was happy to hear that she is living a good life.

“You really don’t regret anything”
