Leeteuk crossed his legs looking away not wanting to see his two friends acting all lovely dovey around each other,or in other word,his boyfriend and their friend. Kyuhyun told him Heechul loves him and he is just messing around but the way they look at each other will love reflected in their dark eyes,it reminded him of the way Eunhyuk and Donghae look at each other 

"Leeteuk~What's wrong?Why are you frowning?"Leeteuk looked at Heechul who was now sitting next to him "Nothing,just tired..." Heechul raised an eyebrow not convinced but shrugged it off eventually "Hey,wanna go on a date tonight?I know a good restaura-" "Aaaah sorry but I have other plans with Siwon,sorry I promised him!" Leeteuk faked a smile and nodded "Maybe another time then" Leeteuk's smile faded once his boyfriend left 

"Hyung~I know you're jealous" Donghae said to him teasingly "I know what does it feel like,sometimes I want to shoot him when he how's near Eunhyuk but I don't because I know he means harm.And you know how weird Heechul hyung is so..."
Leeteuk pat Donghae's back smiling "I know that,I just couldn't help it sorry"

All the guys went back home,Leeteuk remembered halfway that he forgot some papers he needed to fill for tomorrow so he drove back to the company.
As he was walking he heard two voices making him slow down 
"What if he saw us?"
"Siwon Leeteuk would be at home now no need to worry,unless you wanted to keep hesitating and letting time pass until he calls asking me where am I"
"You can lie to him,it isn't the first time anyway"
"Well...yeah but..."
Heechul winced before he finishes his sentence 
"S-sorry I didn't mean to hurt you" Siwon said followed by Heechul's a bit shaky voice "It's fine,keep going"

Not wanting to hear more Leeteuk sprinted outside the papers completely forgotten, he kept fighting back his tears the whole way home. But once he stepped into his room and locked the door tears started flowing down his cheeks as he sat on the ground leaning on the door.He didn't realize he fell asleep till he heard knocking on the door "Teukki?Are you in there?" Hearing Heechul's voice he felt his heart stinging painfully "he must be asleep...why did he lock the door?Did he forget I'll be home soon?" He heard Heechul's voice followed by fading sound of steps.

He doesn't know how to face Heechul now,he may stay locked up here in the room but he will have to face him tomorrow at work or even before that!
The head of Park company stood up slowly and went to the bed lying limp on it,crying once again but this time he didn't sleep,the thoughts running through his mind didn't let him. Even though they are just boyfriends for now he and Heechul had a lot of plans for their future together,after all they have been dating for almost six years,if it was his choice he would've married Heechul long ago but the younger male keeps telling him to take things slowly.Now he knows why...

The sound of the alarm brought him back to reality,it's already five?
Leeteuk slowly pushed his body off the bed and dragged his feet to the bathroom.One sleepless night and he already looks awful, messy hair,pale face,puffy red eyes with dark bags under them...well this wasn't his first sleepless night,he didn't sleep enough for almost three weeks,ever since he realized Heechul is far from him even though they are right next to each other...but this for sure was the first sleepless night he spent crying his eyes out and blaming himself for everything, he wasn't enough for Heechul thus is why the other male fell out of love (if he loved him in the first place) and probably Heechul is worried about hurting him this is why he couldn't tell him...like that Leeteuk blamed everything on himself 

After taking a quick shower and wearing some makeup so he won't look that bad,he opened the bedroom door only to see Heechul standing there with lifted hand because he was going to knock on the door probably "Hey Teukkie~ How could you lock the door and sleep?It was cold outside" Leeteuk suddenly felt bad for his boyfriend even after what he did "Sorry Heechul I forgot to unlock it" Heechul was going to ask why lock it in the first place? But Leeteuk walked past him leaving 

When Leeteuk reached the company he went straight to his office not greeting his other friends who looked confused and worried. Eunhyuk followed his hyung and knocked on the office's door few times...after a whole minute he finally got an answer "come in" when he did as he was told,he saw Leeteuk busy filling some papers "Are you okay hyung?" Eunhyuk asked worriedly and Leeteuk answered coldly "You didn't finish your report from yesterday,I want it done by noon" a shiver ran down the younger's back as he bowed then left 
Leeteuk bit his bottom lip feeling bad for treating the poor man like that,he could clearly see hurt in his eyes.He will probably apologize later

After a couple of hours Leeteuk went to Siwon's office to ask him about some files,but when he knocked on the door it was opened slightly by Heechul "What?" His boyfriend asked making his heart clench "If Siwon is in there tell him to go to my office"
With that Leeteuk walked back to his own office feeling worse,even at working time when he is there?It seems like Heechul wants him to notice so badly.

Almost a week passed and nothing changed,Sichul seemed more touchy than ever,Heechul no longer talks to him a lot he is always busy hanging around Siwon.
Enough is enough "Let's breakup" Leeteuk said calmly to Heechul who was playing video games with Siwon.All the guys were at Heeteuk's mansion in a break 
Heechul blinked then looked at Leeteuk behind him with furrowed eyebrows "What?" "I said let's breakup"the older repeated calmly,suddenly his boyfriend started laughing "You almost got me there!You improved your acting skills Teukki~" Leeteuk looked at him coldly with crossed arms,all the guys stopped what they were doing and looked at their hyungs. "Wait,you aren't joking?"Heechul's eyes widened at the realization "Are you okay Leeteuk?Why?" Hurt flashed in Heechul's eyes but Leeteuk looked away ignoring it "When you fall out of love there is no need to push the relationship to keep going.Just let it go" those words were like arrows going straight through Heechul's heart with Leeteuk walking off quietly.

After few hours of locking himself up in his room to cry his eyes out,he finally walked outside exhausted. The house was empty,even Heechul left.That's when Leeteuk saw a note on the kitchen's table

After reading it,tears started streaming down Leeteuk's face once again his sobs getting louder,it took him A LOT of courage to ask his boyfriend to breakup with him,he felt like if he was a burden on Heechul's shoulders that needed to be lifted

Leeteuk didn't feel like going to work but he did it anyway,all the workers arrived except his friends,on his office's desk was an envelope, Leeteuk knew exactly what it was,Heechul quite. Without sparing it another glance the head of Park company went to finish his work,along with his friends' work.

It was really late and Leeteuk wasn't done yet "great,now only Siwon's work left" he said tiredly as he left to this latter's office. When he opened the door and the light he froze,this was NOT an office, a huge "HAPPY BIRTHDAY HYUNG" was hanging from the ceiling with a lit of balloons floating around forgotten,on the desk was a huge cake with plastic plates,forks and cups around it along with drinks and sweets. On a smaller table was a lot of colored boxes, presents obviously.
They can't prepare all of this in one night!And realization fell hard on Leeteuk making his eyes widen,when Heechul avoided him he would be in this 'office' with Siwon the whole time,from time to time others went into that office for short time,he was the only one not allowed in there...After walking slowly to the presents' table he saw a fluffy white teddy bear holding a red heart,a small laugh escaped his lips knowing it's Heechul's present. He picked it up only to notice a note under it 'turn around' being alone there he didn't do as the note said,probably Heechul was supposed to stand behind him holding the present.
Just he was about to leave he noticed a tiny black box in the corner forgotten,curious he walked over and picked it up...when he opened it,it felt as if time froze...there was a beautiful silver ring with diamond on it...along with another note {Will you marry me? ;) } he screwed up,a big time...today is his birthday... Heechul was going to propose to him...Heechul and Siwon was close because they were trying to surprise him...
Leeteuk quickly took his phone calling Heechul,his ex never answered.So he called Donghae instead "H-hyung!" He can't blame him for sounding surprised after all he treated his friends like a trash the past week and kept ignoring them "Donghae... Can I come over?" "Sorry hyung I'm not home...we are at Heechul hyung's place" with that Leeteuk ended the call,they are worried about Heechul so they stayed with him...his ex is probably beating himself up wondering what wrong did he do for the soft loving Leeteuk to breakup with him so coldly like that... Without thinking twice Leeteuk went to his car heading to Heechul's old apartment...

He didn't need to knock because he had a spare key so he walked in directly,he stood face to face with Ryeowook who was holding a tray of food,his friends are probably about to have dinner now.Donghae's fiancé looked away sad and hurt as Leeteuk closed the door "Hyukki,I owe you an apology...I acted like a jerk the past week I'm sorry...I didn't mean to hurt you..." No reply, so Leeteuk walked to the living room knowing they will be there.

On the couch Heechul was sitting next to him Siwon with his arm wrapped around the other. While the rest were sitting here and there.
When they noticed Leeteuk's presence they either glared at him (Siwon) or looked away (the rest except Heechul)

"If you are here about my stuff I'll come and get them tomorrow..."
Leeteuk frowned then lowered his head as he walked towards his ex then bowed 90°
"I'm here to apologize to you and the rest...I overreacted... And I misunderstood the whole situation"
Now Heechul was interested,raising an eyebrow
"I'm sorry Heechul...I thought you were cheating on me with Siwon"
Donghae clenched his fist,everyone knew about Leeteuk's thoughts (except Sichul) but they never knew it may cause this! Heechul's eyes widened in disbelief,knowing he is probably the cause of their breakup Siwon moved away from his friend 
"Leeteuk...after all those years...you don't trust me?"
Leeteuk closed his eyes tightly and clenched his fists
"I trust you...I don't trust myself... Compared to Siwon,I'm nothing...he is richer,stronger,more handsome,he has things I can never have"
Him laughing caught everyone's attention,Heechul was laughing so hard he almost teared up
"You're an idiot.Yes he is stronger and richer than you,when I'm with him I feel safe but...you idiot,he isn't the one making my heart beat ten times faster with just a smile,he isn't the one making my mind go blank with a peck, he isn't the one I want to hold and protect with every breath of mine...he isn't the one I love Leeteuk,it's you..."
Kyuhyun took a note in his mind to tease his hyungs about this later, Donghae was filming while Eunhyuk was moved by this, Yesung smiled softly knowing they will be together again after this,Shindong was making sure to film the moment from another angle while the rest just watched 

Without hesitation Leeteuk hugged Heechul tightly sobbing,at that moment the younger one noticed how thin and weak his (ex)boyfriend got. "Yah Teukki,since when you had those thoughts?"
Leeteuk replied without looking up."The day I locked the door...I happened to return to the company before that and heard your conversation with Siwon about lying to me..." Heechul hugged Leeteuk tightly,guilt started eating him alive.He knows how sensitive this latter is,was he crying for the whole week?Was he even eating properly?!He was too caught up preparing for the party to notice that his boyfriend was suffering
"I'm sorry Teukki...I had no idea you felt like this"
Heechul said as he buried his nose in his (ex) boyfriend's soft hair,they didn't even notice when the others left the room
"By the way...I found out about the party"
Heechul's eyes widened before he pulled back only to see Leeteuk taking the black box out from his pocket "Can we...be together again?"he asked hesitating "Well I never said yes to our breakup so I believe we always have been together ~"Heechul said with a singsong tone as he opened the black box which he took from his boyfriend "So what is your answer dear~?" Leeteuk laughed a bit and nodded "Of course yes,is that even a question?"It was a great feeling,when he slipped the ring on his finger fitting around perfectly
"Now let's go,I wanted to taste that cake for too long" Heechul whined a bit and went to tell the guys they're going to the company  to celebrate Leeteuk's birthday,this latter followed with a soft smile on his face...
