Obstacles II
The Blue NoteNayeon was hiding to the right of the collapsed bookshelf, the fading lime green wall the only obstacle holding her back, and herself of course. She couldn’t even turn her neck slightly, scared that what lies behind fragile wall would change her.
Why am I so afraid? I agreed to this myself.
Her adrenaline rush was at its peak, ready to burst itself out and run away from this sacred place. Yet her body somehow kept her firmly at place, her mind determined to make the body move nearer to the secrets that laid ahead.
I’m going in.
The gust of wind slapped her body, almost sending her flying backwards. Darkness enveloped her from every side, her every attempt of escaping down the drain like a piece of useless paper.
Was that a sign for me to go?
Nayeon continued to ignore her thoughts, especially the ones coming from the fearing corners of her mind. Even with her body shivering due to the cold, even with those loud bass beats thronging against her skull, she moved forward.
She had to.
She had to search for light in this darkness. She needed to get past this. She needed to stop being such a coward, such a dependent, such a person that only ruin others due to her own problems. She needed to do this.
I need to do this.
Out of nowhere a string out light flashed past her, nearly blinding her as she got used to the utter darkness bleeding throughout the room. A face was revealed by the light, the face staring right back at her. Right into her petrified soul.
I.... what?
The girl chuckled lightly at the terrified face the school girl wore. The stranger lifted herself of the metal caging behind her, pointing towards the stairs near the edge of the room.
“Come with me.”
Yet all Nayeon did was stick to her position, as if burning hot glue was poured all over her body and soul. She couldn’t even move, even blink, even speak. She was truly terrified.
I should get out of here. Now.
Her whole body was ready to break the world record for sprinting out of a small abandoned coffee shop, back into the hands of her family. She didn’t care if she hated her boring life, the simple idea of an adventurous one left her hysterical.
That was, until, a soft spoken voice near her broke her out of her trance.
“I won’t hurt you. Trust me, please.”
Nayeon looked behind her, to be met with the same face as before. Except this time, it was soft, a hint of a smile appealingly lifted her spirits as well. She felt inclined to follow the stranger infront of her.
She’s a stranger, why should I trust her?!
Her head was reeling with the argument imploding inside of her. Her head felt lightheaded though a fight was going on in her, and even what every parent warns their child about flew out of her brain.
Never trust strangers.

And that’s the second chapter. I hope you guys figure out where I had gotten the inspiration to do this story. Honestly I’m surprised there are not many stories that come from that video.
Maybe that would give you a clue to what this story is about.
(Don’t tell but even I don’t know where this story is going.)
