Special Yesung POV Version 2

Belly flops hurt. Especially when you fall about fifty feet. Especially when you actually hear the cracking of your humorous, which isn't very funny but actually extremely painful.

The guy I had attempted to save was unconscious, so I had to carry him to shore with my good arm, my sloppiness getting sand all over us. I was breathing heavily, having dragged two bodies out of a river with only one arm, but the other guy was hardly breathing at all. Groaning, I began to perform CPR on him, killing my arm even more, if possible. Finally, after seventy pumps, he sat up and began coughing up water.

"Are you okay?" I asked him.

"Yeah." He responded as he was catching his breath.

"What made you want to throw your life away, anyway?"

"Well… a friend of mine has been really out of it for a while now. He hasn't been doing anything, lately, besides mope around his house all day. When I asked him why, he wouldn't tell me. I figured I'd get myself hurt and he'd snap out of it."

"But you could've died had it not been for me!!"

"Yeah, I probably would have. Thanks."

"Thank God I forgot my phone at home today. That would've killed it. And you'd be buying me a new one, alive or dead." He laughed. "What's your name, anyway? I'm Yesung." I stretched my hand out for him to shake.

"I'm Eunhyuk." He said and shook my hand. "Is your arm naturally bent that way or is today a special occasion?"

I looked down at my arm to see it's twisted shape. "Looks like it's a special occasion."

"Then we need to get you to a hospital." Eunhyuk began to stand up.

"You, too."

"Me?"

"Well, you fell fifty feet. Also, it's possible I broke some of your ribs while I tried to save your life, there…"

"Oh, well… thanks." Eunhyuk helped me up and we began walking towards a pay phone.

I lost consciousness in the ambulance. They alter told me it was a delayed reaction – a shock, you might say. When I opened my eyes, I was in the hospital with Eunhyuk in the bed next to me and my friend, Leeteuk, sitting in the chair next to me.

"Hey, there, sport." Leeteuk said with a relieved smile. Sugmin, his boyfriend, walked in and smiled, then sat next to Leeteuk. The three of us began talking, and Leeteuk looked up once, briefly, as someone came in. I paid it no mind, thinking it was just a nurse. And then someone started talking.

"Eunhyuk, what were you thinking?!" My eyes widened in recognition. But still, I didn't turn my head.

"I was thinking you spend way too much time moping around these days and you needed to snap out of whatever spell had been put on you, so I decided I'd get myself hurt bad enough to get sent to the hospital and you'd come rushing in to say 'Eunhyuk, what were you thinking'. I was completely right, no?"

I heard a slap. "I was thinking about you!" Eunhyuk continued. "But I'm actually really grateful to Yesung over there. He saved my life."

At hearing my name, I turned around towards Eunhyuk and his guest. "Hey Ryeowook. Long time no see, huh?" My voice cracked towards the end, and I felt myself doing everything in my power to keep from crying.
