Goodbyes
Cry Out With My Heart and Soul
When we were just outside of Seoul, in Jung-gu, I stopped my motorcycle and led Yesung away to a park bench nearby.
"What's wrong?" He asked me.
"I need to know how you feel about me."
"W-why? You're my friend."
"My friend?" I felt my voice getting shaky.
"What else would I be after all that?"
"R-right. So… we're friends. Okay."
"Wookie?"
"Huh?"
"Are you sure you're alright?"
"Y-yeah. I'm perfectly fine."
"Alright, then let's get to Seoul."
"Yeah. Yeah, let's do that."
We continued to Seoul shortly after, where Yesung gave me directions to his apartment. I dropped him off, gave him a hug, then left.
For good.
On the way to Seoul, I had thought a lot about what to do. Thoughts ran in and out of my head at a million miles an hour until finally, I made my decision. I decided that it would be better for the both of us if we just didn't see each other ever again. Thus, I said bye to Yesung for good. After all, it's not like not having each other in our lives would hurt us, right?
Oh, but I was so, so wrong.
