Author POV 

No one is aware of their existence. They're here, part of our world, they look like humans but they aren't. They are creatures. There's two types of them: the Heartless and the Cold-hearted. 

The Heartless, contrary to their name, have a heart. However, it's not beating. They don't feel any emotion either. For them to feel and for their heart to beat, they need to find their other half, their soulmate. 

The Cold-hearted are... cold. Their body is freezing and like the Heartless, they don't feel any emotion. For them to heat up and feel, they also need to find their mate. They have a special feature though that Heartless don't have: they can know what emotion(s) a human (or a creature able to feel) feels just by looking at them. 

There's a last thing you need to know. If their soulmate doesn't love them or dies, they die as well. 

We can now begin with the story. 

Author's Note :

So this is a kind of introduction and the story will begin in the following chapter. 

The POV here is the author's but in the next chapters it will be the character's POV (the second chapter is Jungkook POV).
