“Hi Fany!” Taeyeon is panting wildly as she rushes into Tiffany’s room.

Tiffany hums in response. “Yeah, Tae?”

“Can I borrow your printer, please?”

Tiffany laughs.

“Wait, you ran all the way here to borrow my printer?”

“Yeah.” Taeyeon spins Tiffany away from her table to stick the printer’s USB cable into her laptop. “My dorm’s printer isn’t working and the hardcopy is due in an hour.”

“You realise the library is nearer, right?”

Taeyeon shrugs as she hits CTRL-P and ENTER on her computer, sending 12 pages worth of double-spaced, font size 12 Times New Roman bull-tacked-onto-bull to the printer.

“Maybe. But that’ll mean I don’t get to see my girlfriend. And I’ve not seen you in over a day.”

“That’s because you holed yourself up in your room to finish your essay.”

Taeyeon pouts. “This module is the worst. I’m an architecture student, not an arts major. I don’t get why I have to come up with this crap.”

“Oh, come on. Don’t pout. This university programme’s going to be good for you.”

Taeyeon snorts. “Good for bringing me to my eventual death. I’ll ask you out to eat and chill, but I need to sleep after I drop this in Michael’s pigeonhole. And hey, you like my pouts.”

Tiffany hums, not denying it. She gets up from the swivel chair and helps Taeyeon staple her papers together. “We’ll put a raincheck on lunch, okay baby? I’ll see you when you next emerge from your den.”

Taeyeon takes her essay from Tiffany. “Promise?”

“Yeah, promise.” Tiffany thinks that the pink on Taeyeon’s cheeks are cute.

“Okay! I’ll be seeing you then!”

In a flash, Taeyeon is gone.

Tiffany looks at her pink laptop, dreading the thought of having to complete over 20 APA citations. Maybe she can convince Taeyeon to just nap in her room instead.

And yes, she admits that it’s a little creepy, but having Taeyeon in the room, asleep or not, will make her feel better about everything.

With that, Tiffany pulls her phone out to send a message to Taeyeon.
