“Have fun on your date!” Junhong waves at Jiwoo as she is stepping out of the bookstore for lunch.

“It’s not a date!”

“Have fun anyway”, Jongup adds.

“Thank you, see you two later!” she waves at them before leaving.

Jiwoo totally was NOT excited to see Matthew again.

She checks the time on her phone and makes sure she gets to the café they had agreed to meet up at on time. She walks with a hop in her step.

As she reaches the café she quickly fixes her hair and makes sure all the strands are in the right place before entering the café. She looks around for the familiar figure and smiles as she spots him in the far corner.

“Mat!” she calls him and he looks up at her with a smile.

“Oh hey!”

“Sorry, did I make you wait long?” Jiwoo asks as she sits down opposite her.

“No, not at all. I just got here”, he says.

“So why is there an empty cup of coffee in front of you already?” she asks.

“I drink fast?” he offers and she rolls his eyes.

He smiles at her and she can’t help but smile back.

“So, what do you want for lunch?” he asks.

“I don’t know, let me have a look at the menu”, she says as she picks up the menu and flips it open.

“Oh the pasta sounds good”, she says as she looks up at him but the feeling of his lips landing on top of her own surprises her.

It’s a quick peak but she is left in shock and wide eyed. He smiles at her while she feels the heat gather
