It was the next day, Jiwoo was at work and she was still reading her book. Jongup and Junhong were still shelving new books. There were no customers so it was fairly quiet except for Jongup and Junhong mumbling to reach other and Junhong’s random outburst of random songs once in a while and Jongup’s soft laughter.

Jiwoo smiled at the two best friends.

Eventually the bell rings signalling a customer stepping in. Jiwoo looks up from her book and is surprised to see the familiar figure come in.

“Matthew?”

“Oh, Jiwoo!”

“What are you doing here?” Jiwoo asks.

“I needed to pick up a book for Taehyung”, he says with a smile.

“Oh, I got it ready here”, Jiwoo says as she grabs the book from one of the shelves behind her.

“He said he was going to come to get it but I guess he sent you”, Jiwoo says as she scans the book to mark it as picked up.

“Yeah, he said he was busy with something”, Matthew says.

“Did he mention that I work here?” Jiwoo asks with a raised brow.

“No, I had no idea”

“Somin didn’t mention it either…strange”, Matthew says to himself.

“I wonder why”, Jiwoo says.

“Oh well. It was nice to see you. I’ll see you again later?” Matthew asks.

“Of course. It’s a date”, Jiwoo replies with a smile.
