Table for Four!

Honesty

Yongsun POV:

The end of lunch approached and we started walking together back to class. Though, Hyejin had to leave to walk in the opposite direction.

"Why does she walk the other way?" I asked.

Wheein frowned as Byul explained, "Unfortunately, Hyejin doesn't have the same class as us."

"I blame my parents!" Wheein whined. She was clearly not happy about Hyejin being in another class.  "I'm supposed to be with Hyejin-nim but they decided to move me to this class so I could get the best possible education."

Now, that I think about it, these girls were younger than I. So, technically they weren't supposed to be here with me. "Well, then what about you Moonbyul? Did your parents move you too?"

She shook her head and looked into the distance. "No, my parents couldn't care less about that." The atmosphere suddenly tensed up a bit. I felt bad for asking that question, as it seemed that she had some difficulties with her parents. Wheein looked at me, and then at Byul. Her expression was filled with worry. Though, she was quick to lighten up the mood.

"Byulyi unnie is just soooooo smart that the school let her skip a grade!! She's like a super duper genius!!" She bluffed as if she was talking about herself.

Moonbyul just patted Wheein's head and chuckled, "I'm not that smart, Wheepup."

"Yes youuuu areeeeee!!! You know so much more than I do! That's why I always ask you for help, teehee." Wheein ran over to Byul and hugged her tight.

"Maybe, if you payed attention more instead of repeatedly poking me with a pencil, then you wouldn't need my help." Wheein pouted at that statement.

As I was observing them, I couldn't help but think that they were really close. I wondered what kind of relationship they had. Maybe, a sister-like one?

I wasn't left much time to ponder about it, because we were already entering the classroom.

Class went by quickly, as it was already time to head back home. I started packing up my belongings, but being the clumsy me, I dropped my notebook. I reached down to get it, only to find another pair of hands. I looked up slowly. It was Byul. Our eyes met and locked with one another. Everything around me instantly became a blur. The only thing I could focus on was her eyes. They shined, even in the bright light.

After a long while, Byul spoke. "Here's your notebook... and um.... your grip is really strong, it kind of hurts haha." My cheeks turned a tomato red. I didn't even notice I was holding onto her arm.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to hold on!"

"Don't worry about it, the warmth from your hand was actually really nice." She winked.

"So greasy." I playfully slapped her.

"Oww, I treat you so nicely and pick up your notebook, but you just hit me?"

"Yah! I could've gotten it myself!"

"Still, no 'thank you' or anything? How cold, Yongdonnie." Byul tried to act like she was hurt, but ultimately failed as she was smiling, We both laughed. After a few seconds, Byul spoke again. "So, I was wondering, would you like to come with me and the girls to some place?"

I grinned, "Why? You can't stand to be without me?"

"That is very true, my princess. You are like a magnet and I am attracted to you." I giggled as she grabbed my hand and pretended to not be able to pull away. She was such a greasy dork. "Hmm, but seriously, do you want to?"

I acted like I was thinking, but I already knew my answer, "Hmmm, why not? I'll go. Well, that's if the others don't mind me tagging along."

Moonbyul smiled from ear to ear. "I'm sure they wouldn't. And, plus, you'd make a great addition to the team!"

"The team?" I looked at her, confused.

"Sorry, I should've been more clear." Byul said while scratching the back of her head. "We're going to a cafe, but we have some club discussion after that. I hope you don't mind being part of it."

"No, don't worry! I'd love to join you guys!" Lucky for me, my parents weren't home today. So, I didn't have to worry about coming home late.

Soon, Byul and I arrived at the cafe. Wheein and Hwasa were already there at a table in the corner. The cafe, despite looking quite dated from the entrance outside, had quite the modern look. The walls were painted white and the tables were made of glass. The floors were a mix of black and white marble tiles. The place was also very bright because of the many hanging lights over the tables as well as fairly large windows. I wondered if it was expensive here? I hoped not as I didn't bring much money.

As soon as Hyejin and Wheein saw us, they motioned for us to come over quickly. Unexpectedly, Byul grabbed my hand and pulled me to her side, "So you don't get lost." She winked.

The place wasn't that big so I doubted I could get lost from walking across a room, but I decided to play along with her, "That won't stop me from getting lost in your charming eyes."

She turned her head in my direction, giving me an amused expression, like she wasn't expecting me to answer in that way. I smiled proudly. Though, that smile was quickly turned into a pout as Moonbyul laughed.

After she stopped laughing, she again turned towards me. "You're really cute, you know?" She said while tickling under my chin. After that, I couldn't help but giggle.

"Hurry up and get your arses over here, love birds!!" We both jumped up, startled by Hyejin's voice. So, with that, we hurriedly walked over. It seemed that they were expecting me to come along because although there were many tables for three, the two were at a table that seated four. I smiled at the realization and sat down to join them.

"Glad you could make it, Kim Yong Sun." Wheein said in a semi-serious tone. I was a bit suprised, considering she was usually really hyper. Not to mention, she used my full name. I started worrying. Did I do something wrong?

Moonbyul noticed the distressed look on my face and chuckled. "Wheein you scared her with that tone! Now she won't join the group!"

"Oh, whoops! I just wanted to sound a bit mature for once." Wheein replied in her normal cheerful voice while sticking out her tongue.

Hyejin rolled her eyes, "I can't wait for the day you actually mature." Wheein slapped her arm. Hyejin just looked the other way, acting like she didn't care. But, you could see that she was trying hard not to laugh.

"We all know that Wheein will always be the puppy she is. I bet even Yongsun can tell, and that's saying something considering she hasn't even been here for long." With Moonbyul's words, we all bursted out into laughter. Well, except for Wheein, who was pouting.

"Yah! You guys are so mean to me!" Moonbyul just patted her head.

"We're just being honest." Hyejin said as she was taking a sip of her coffee.

"Haha, don't worry Wheepup, I think it's cute." Byul then abruptly changed the subject. "So, let's get straight to business girls, shall we?"

"Sure thing unnie!" Wheein jumped up, clearly excited for whatever we were about to do.

"So, what exactly are we doing?" I turned to Moonbyul, expecting her to answer, but instead Hyejin did.

"You see, we need at least four people to form a club. And, Byulyi unnie seems to really like you, so it'd be perfect if you could join."

I smiled and looked towards Byulyi, who was pretending to be cool and not listen. Though, it was obvious she heard what Hyejin said becuase her cheeks were slightly flushed. She's adorable, yet y. Wait, what am I thinking? Yongsun! Stop thinking thoughts like that! You just met her!

"Yo yo! Earth to Solar!" Wheein waved her hand in front of my face. I lightly shook my head to control my thoughts.

"Ah, sorry was spacing out a bit."

"Oh ok, don't worry about it! So, would you like to join?" Wheein put up her famous puppy face and I laughed quietly.

"Of course, but what exactly is this club for?"

WIth my question, everyone's eyes lit up. They all looked so cute at that moment. I had to refrain myself from taking out my phone to take a picture. Whatever it is they were starting, I could already tell they were passionate about it. Then, Wheein finally responded, "Well, we've always, and I mean always, wanted to start a 'girl group' of some kind, but us three on our own don't have enough money to do a lot of things!"

Moonbyul continued for Wheein, as she was way too hyped to be properly speaking. "Luckily, the owner of this cafe had been nice enough to let us perform on their stage anytime for free. Hmm, but we thought that if we started a club, we could use the funds for other concert venues, equipment, and other things."

I was a bit skeptical, considering I didn't have much stage experience. I do sing, but not in front of others. Hyejin saw the look on my face and then spoke in a calm and collected voice. "Of course, after hearing all this, you can refuse. I mean, I do understand that you may not want to do this. Though, at least watch one of our performances before making up your mind."

"We have one next week, Friday at six pm. Do you think you can make it?" Moonbyul asked shyly.

"It'll be one you can't forget! I promise!" Wheein added.

"I'll be there, don't worry." I smiled at them, and they smiled back at me. It's been an interesting first day.

A/N: I know that Moonbyul was actually the last one to join MAMAMOO, but it's a story, so let's switch things up a bit haha.

Anyways, thanks so much for reading! I'm still working on my writing so that I can better progress stories, but I hope it's interesting enough for you to keep reading! There's currently no angst, but who's to say it won't be here later?
