The Partnership

What happens when an owner of a well-known company, similar like yours, comes directly to you and request of a partnership?

Of course you wouldn't simply agree.

Your business had been doing well on its own and it does not require future Co-branding with the help of another company.

If only it was that simple..

Today, I've come to meet him personally to reject his offer. But what if the moment I met him, I became lost at words?

What if..

this boss right here, Mr. Oh..

is so freaking hot?

Prologue

I glanced around inside the Oh Corporation building to find the front desk receptionist in which I found almost immediately the moment I entered the building. I walked straight up to a girl on the front desk and asked for the whereabouts of this Mr. Oh I had absolutely no clue about.

The girl was about to reply that he’s currently busy right now and won’t be able to meet him unless Mr. Oh himself made the request for the meeting when she glanced up at me and her eyes sparkled with delight the moment she saw me.

“Ah, you must be Ms. Yoon. Mr. Oh had been waiting for you.” She said delightfully, “Come, I’ll show you the way.”

I rolled my eyes before following her into the lift up to the highest floor of this building. “Mr. Oh is in here, I guess I’ll be leaving you on your own from here.” The girl bowed and left the floor, leaving me alone in front of Mr. Oh’s door.

Sighing deeply, I knocked on the door a bit too furiously. There was a reply the next second ushering me to come in. I immediately flung the door open, wanting to immediately reject the offer of a partnership.

“Look, Mr. Oh, I don’t have any time for this, so I’m just going to cut to the chase. I’m not going to—”

The moment my eyes met him, my heart leaped out of my chest. His glorious figure stood in front of his desk, his hair sleekly pushed back. Okay, .. why is he so goddamn beautiful?

“Oh, I see that you’re here, Ms. Yoon. It’s a pleasure to meet you.” His lips curled up into a smile.

I can’t help but stare at his lips, my eyes shamelessly staring at his body, a few of his buttons were open and he wouldn’t bother covering up his slightly exposed chest. Oh god, look at the beautiful chest.

But then my thoughts immediately shattered when I remembered why I came here in the first place. My business. “Okay, look here Mr. Oh. I’ve come here to disagree with your offer. I’m sorry but I have to reject your request on a partnership.”

His face showed no flustered expression nor any look of surprise, instead, he raised his eyebrows, his eyes darting onto the window of his office. “I expected that. Come, why not we have a seat and talk this out. Would you like some wine?”

I gaped at him in disbelief, “I told you I don’t have any time for this!”

Mr. Oh simply ignored me and opened up a bottle of wine, before pouring the liquid into his wine glass professionally, the sound of the clear liquid pouring out of the bottle. I can’t help but stare at his hands, his veins appearing within his arm as he held the wine bottle in his hands.

“You do know how big and successful my company is, right Ms. Yoon?” He spoke while his eyes were still focused on his wine. He placed the wine bottle on his desk before holding up his wine glass and looked at me. He was leaning on his desk, looking very attractive.

“Now, you wouldn’t want to simply reject my offer. This kind of chance does not come very often I must say.” He said sleekly, smacking his lips. “And I must say, you are indeed very lucky.”

My mind was still blank, my eyes are only focused on his mouth, the way his lips move at every word he spoke out. It was indeed a beautiful sight.

“So, I’d like to ask you one last time. Are you really going to reject my offer?”

Silence.

Mr. Oh who noticed my eyes were still on him, but not on his eyes, instead of on his body, began to smirk.

“So I guess it's settled, a deal is a deal.” He said smoothly bringing the rim of his wine glass closer to his lips, taking a few, small sips every now and then.

I watched closely at how his lips puckered on the wine glass, his lips moving slightly at every action. How his Adam's apple bobs at every gulp, clearly visible on the expensive liquid he was swallowing. I gulped silently, not being able to take my eyes off his mouth. I wonder how his lips feel like on mine?

I nodded unconsciously, sighing dreamily at the sight of his figure. “Yeah,” I continue to nod, my voice came out as breathless than ever. “Yeah,” I repeated again.

“That’s great, I guess I’ll be seeing you tomorrow.” Mr. Oh smiled, his flawless white teeth stood out amongst his perfectly shaped lips.

I nodded dumbly yet again, agreeing to whatever he’s saying. “Yeah, I’ll see you tomorrow.”

He only smiled back.

But there was a moment of silence. My nodding stops abruptly, and my eyes widened. I stood there staring motionlessly into space, processing the words I said in my head. Wait a second… what??? Tomorrow? What?!!

“WHAT?” I looked up horrified, not believing him at all.

“Yeah, Ms. Yoon. You are right indeed, we’ll start working together tomorrow. Besides you’ve agreed.” He took another sip, continuing to speak calmly despite my change in calmness.

This time not affected by his hotness, I immediately disagreed, “I DID NOT!”

Mr. Oh looked up from his wine glass to stare right into my eyes, his orbs deep and penetrating into mines. There was a slight change in his expression but I simply can’t decipher, before the corner of his lips quirk up into a beautiful and dangerous looking smirk.

“Oh yes you did and there’s no turning back.” his voice low and deep, sending me chills down the spine.
