the next day, i was waiting in my bedroom for jennie to come pick me up to go to her place. since it was a formal dinner, i opted for an above-the-knee-lenght, flowy, baby blue dress. since it was spring, i didn't have to wear a jacket out and the brunette had told me she would be picking me up with her car so i didn't have to worry about wearing a dress and riding her motorcycle.

at around 5, i heard my mom call me downstairs, telling me someone was at the door waiting for me. i took my purse, containing my necessities and took one last glace at myself in the mirror before heading down. as soon as my eyes landed on the 18 year-old at the door, i saw her raise her eyebrows and a smile forming on her lips.
