the ocean's tears

He wanted me to go, so I went.

The ocean.

I pressed my foot to the car's pedal,

Taking control of my trembling body.

I was scared.

. . .

At the same time, I was glad.

If my sunshine disappeared there,

Surely I would be able to meet him again.

After all, the sun always rises again.

. . .

I must've been crying, for why else would my cheeks be wet?

Salty tears, like the ocean's waves.

Waves which consumed me.
