Mrs. Chittaphon looked outside the sunny window with fondness in her eyes. She could see a number of cars lined up outside her new daycare. It touched her heart knowing that so many parents had already entrusted her with their precious children throughout the day.

Humming to the radio playing the daily morning tunes, Mrs. Chittaphon happily pulled the freshly baked cinnamon rolls out of the oven. "Ah, these look perfect~!" She squealed with delight when she saw the perfectly puffed cinnamon rolls, with just the right amount of caramelization on top. She set the freshly baked goods on the cooling rack and pulled the cream cheese icing out of the fridge in preparation for the kids that would soon be dashing all over the place. The smell of cinnamon wafted throughout the small building, making the place smell heavenly. "The kids will be sure to love this."

Surely, one of them will get hungry from all that playing. Or more likely get hungry from doing absolutely nothing but coloring. She giggled at that thought as she pulled off her oven mitts and hung up her apron.

A soft 'ding' sounded through the kitchen as Mrs. Chittaphon looked at the clock. The cute cat clock read 8:00 PM, paw dipping up and down eight times to signal the new hour. "Oh dear! It's almost time to open the doors!" The daycare owner ran out of the kitchen and hurriedly touched up her appearance in the mirror. 

Of course, she wanted to look her best. First impressions lasted the longest, right? With a small dab of glassy lip gloss on her lips, she was ready to open the Sunny Days Daycare.

With a bright smile on her face, the doors of the daycare swung open. She could already see parents get out of their cars to their children to the daycare. Little toddlers waddling alongside their parents, all while holding something near and dear to their heart close to their chest as if it were a part of them. The sight was absolutely precious.

"Welcome to the Sunny Days Daycare! I'm Mrs. Chittaphon, but you may call me Mrs. Lamai if you'd like," She paused for a moment when the parents introduced themselves. She found it adorable how their children clung onto their parent's legs when they were talking or stared at her with their doe eyes. "Well, I hope we'll have a fun day together! Feel free to pick up your children whenever you need to, but please try and pick them up before 6:00 PM! Bye now, take care~!" She waved goodbye as the other adults climbed into their car, driving off to work.

She turned around with a small smile on her face. The kids were looking around the area -- one was already attempting to touch one of the photo frames hung up on the wall. Mrs. Chittaphon clapped her hands softly to gather their attention, "Hello children! I'm Mrs. Chittaphon, or you may call me Mrs. Lamai if you'd like--" She stopped talking when she saw one of the kids raise his hand up in the air. "Yes?"

"Is it okay if I call you Mrs. Cheese? Mrs. Cat-A-Phone and Mrs. Landmine are too hard to say..." The child pouted adorably. She couldn't help but giggle at the child's odd pronunciation of her name. "Yes, you may."

"As I was saying, I'll show you the main play area. Now, everyone follow me okay? Let's go~" Her happy sing-song voice caused the toddlers to follow her obediently, like cute little ducklings. One of the children, the smallest out of the bunch, actually looked like a little duckling. She made a note to make those cute little Kiiroitori doughnuts she saw on Pinterest while she was looking for a cinnamon bun recipe. 

She led them to a colorful room, filled with all sorts of toys. There were plastic tables, and tiny little chairs tucked under them. Toy chests were scattered across the room, the biggest ones of the set were pressed up against the wall. She had made sure to child-proof all the furniture in the room, including the big bookshelf near the sliding window. 

"Now, since I said my name, why don't you say yours? Who wants to go first?" No one raised their hands. Everyone glanced at each other, some even nudging the others as if saying 'I know you want to go so just go'. "Hmm... The first one to say their name will get a very special treat!" 

Now a few of the children raised their hands, an innocent sparkle in their eyes as they eagerly jumped up and down. "Ohh this is hard to choose! How about you in the blue sweater?" She pointed to a tall boy who was carrying a Minecraft Pig plushie. 

"Me? I'm Johnny!" The boy said excitedly with a bright smile on his face. 

"Johnny? Isn't that American?" Another child, Yuta if she recalled his parent's introducing him correctly. Johnny's head bobbed up and down, "Mhmm! I moved here from a big city called Chicago!"

"Ohh really! I lived in America for four years, that's why I'm here man!" Her head swerved to a rather pale child wearing a yellow shirt. A goofy smile decorated his face as he giggled. "And what's your name?" Mrs. Chittaphon asked.

"I'm Jaehyun, 6 years old ma'am!" He introduced himself politely, even bowing to the other children. One of the other children decided to bow back, but ended up bonking heads with Jaehyun.

"Owwie!" The child cried loudly, furiously rubbing his forehead as tears threatened to fall. "Oh dear! Don't cry, okay? I'll give you a treat if you don't cry." He slowly calmed himself down, sniffling softly as he shakily opened his mouth to speak. "M-My name is Taeil..." 

"Taeil? That's a nice name! Now, how about the rest of you introduce yourselves, hmm? And then you'll all get a treat!" One by one, they all introduced themselves. The rest of the children's names were Hansol, Kun, Sicheng (however he liked to be called Winwin), Mark & Taeyong (the Lee brothers), Doyoung, Jeno, Jaemin, Jisung, Jungwoo, Yukhei, Yuzhi, Renjun, Chenle, Dongyeon, and Kaicheng.

Mrs. Chittaphon clapped her hand's happily as the last of the children introduced themselves. A few even found cute and unique ways to introduce themselves. Doyoung, a young boy who oddly reminded her of a bunny, introduced himself using one of the toy microphones that changes your voice whenever you talk into it. It made the other children laugh wildly at his warped voice, especially Mark who seemingly giggled softly at everyone's introduction. He even laughed when his older brother, Taeyong, introduced himself.

Mark apparently thought his hyung was really cool, but he couldn't help but giggle at Taeyong's timidness towards the new kids. "So, Mrs. Cheese, when are we going to get our treats?" Jaemin asked excitedly, the other kids chiming in a chorus behind him.

"You'll get them soon, I promise! But, we have one more person joining us." She turned towards the hallway where the other rooms branched off too, "Ten, sweetie can you come out now?" Mrs. Chittaphon called out loudly.

A soft click and thud could faintly be heard as one of the doors opened and closed. Out from behind a corner, a small boy with a large white sweater, blue shorts and a Rillakkuma plushie guarded tightly in his arms emerged. He shyly bit his lips as he scurried next to Mrs. Chittaphon, reaching out for her hand. "Everyone, meet Ten. He's my son, and he'll be playing with you!"

Ten hid behind his mother's legs when he saw everyone's eyes on him. Twenty pairs of eyes on him made him a bit nervous. "It's okay sweetie. Go on and introduce yourself." She nudged the younger boy.

With small steps, Ten stood next to his mother. He fiddled with his thumbs and hugged his plushie tighter before looking up to speak. "Ahm... Hello, I'm Ten! It's nice to meet all of you." The child said, a smile brighter than the sun grew on his face. "A-And this is my bear, Koko! He really likes the bunbuns goodies my mommy makes... And she said she baked them for everyone today..."

Loud gleeful squeals left everyone's mouth. She could see the happiness radiating off their bodies. Part of her thought that they didn't know what 'bunbun goodies' were, but it sounded really yummy in their ears. "Ten, sweetie, why don't you lead them to the kitchen, okay? But don't touch anything!" She waved her finger, 'no-no'.

"Okay mommy! Follow me everyonnneeee~" Ten happily skipped down the hallway, with the other children trailing behind him. She could already see the joy reflecting off of some of the kid's smiles -- clearly they liked her son. But she could already see some mouths watering the closer they got to the kitchen. One of the little tikes, 'Yukhei, was it?' was already poking Ten's back to ask a question.

She just hoped that Ten's Korean range was wide enough to explain what his mommy was cooking. Explaining why the air smelled like cinnamon probably wouldn't be the best thing Ten could express, especially since he still calls cinnamon buns, 'bunbun goodies'. 

This is just an introduction to the Sunny Days Daycare~ Named after Ten's favorite weather, sunny days :)
