Passing ByJAEWON'S POV
"Jaewon-ah."
Chanhyuk walked closer to me and stared at my mom walking away. I did a fist bump with him and he smiled.
"Do you wanna know everything?"
I looked at him confused and excited at the same time.
"Everything from your past." He fixed his glasses and looked at me with his eyes waiting for my answer.
"I..." I would love to.
But why do I feel that there's something wrong? I mean, I wanted to know but I felt like I'm gonna get hurt at the end.
"You?" He asked again looking so relaxed. I closed my eyes tight. This is making me crazy. "I'm just sick of what's happening right now. It felt like so childish. Everything right now has been caused by a childish idea of a not so young person anyway and it frustrates me big time. Are we in a drama?"
I continued to look at him confused. "What do you mean?"
He rolled his eyes. "Do you wanna know?"
"Will I get hurt?" I asked him back.
"Coward. If I were you, I would not think whether I get hurt or not. I just wanted to know everything." He answered me.
I smiled. "I'm just afraid. What if..."
"Those 'what ifs' really keep you from pursuing everything. Why won't you consider knowing everything first?" He crossed his arms.
"Wait... bro, I just remembered. Did Suhyun and Bobby had a relationship before?"
His forehead creased. "Why do you say so?"
I shook my head and walked to the vending machine near us. "I just had a weird dream you know. It felt so real though." I took out some coins and put it to the machine. I got my coffee afterwards. "Hayi doesn't seem to understand me but you know."
He sat on the bench and crossed his legs. "What was your dream?"
I sat next to him. "It's like our graduation day in high school. I was about to go to the men's room but I suddenly heard two people talking. I took a look on one of the empty corridors and saw Bobby and Suhyun talking. I got so curious that I ended up eavesdropping."
He just nodded and took my bottle of coffee and drank some of it. The hell with this dude?
"And to my surprise, Suhyun was crying." I cleared my throat and copied Suhyun's voice. "Why do you have to go? So that's it? You're just leaving me?" I cleared my throat again and copied Bobby's voice. "I couldn't do anything Suhyun. My parents wanted me to go back to US and I cannot reject them. They already given me the chance to study in high school here." Then I started to make crying sounds.
"Stop that monologue. You're making me cringe." Chanhyuk said and crossed his arms.
"Weren't you surprised?" I asked him.
He laughed. "I was."
"Right?" I snapped my fingers in the air. "How come I dreamed about them? That seemed so random and there has to be something right?"
He nodded. "Yes, that's definitely not a dream. Because that happened three years ago. I saw you eavesdropping that day. And I must say, you might have started remembering things slowly." His eyes sparkled.
"You think so?"
"Yes. Brother. Now go. I won't tell you everything because your precious brain will." He stood up and waved goodbye.
I unconsciously looked at my watch as he disappeared and damn! I'm already late.
I stomped my foot out of frustration and just went back to where I left Hayi a while ago.
I saw her still sitting and I quickly approached her. I was about to surprise her but she seemed sleeping.
I sat beside her and whispered. "Lee Hayi."
But she didn't respond.
I then just stared at her angelic face.
She's so beautiful.
But how can she sleep here?
What if some random ert student saw her here and took advantage of her sleepimg?
