It was an evening when Yonghwa searching his golden ring from his cabinet. He took some times to search it since he never use it in the past 3 years, until he found a box hidden in the most far end of his cabinet. It was a soft purple box, everyone who knew him must know that it was not his in the first place. Yonghwa stared it for some moments, and he decided to take it out, leaving his golden ring keeps hidden somewhere in the cabinet.

He sat on the bed, and kept looking at it before he decided to open the supposed-not-his box. His facial expression was so flat when he recalled what happen 5 years ago.

Flashback

Yonghwa sat alone in a fine dining restaurant, waiting for his beloved girlfriend, Seo Joohyun. They made a reservation a month before, since it was so hard to get a table there. There was a bouquet of pink-purple flowers on the table, and a small velvet box. He wanted to propose to his lover since it was already 5 years they dated.

“It is not like her, she never late before. Kwenchanha...” He keeps waiting, but he get anxious when the waitress asked him for the third time what will he order. Seohyun was late for more than a half hour.

“Oppa, minhaeyo, I am late.” Finally she arrived.

“Kwenchana, you can be late sometimes, you dont need to be always punctual to be a real person. Kkk. Ah, here is your flower, Queen.” He joked since he was in really good mood. But then when he spot something different in her expression, moreover she didn’t respond o his joke, he started to feel anxious again. Yonghwa tried to be very positive.

“Hyun, is there something wrong?” She didn’t answer.

“And wait, what is that box?” He just realized that she brought a purple box.”

She still close .

“Hyun?”

“Ah Oppa, nne?”

“What is that box?”

“Ah, it is for you.”

“For me???”

“Ne...” she then gave the box to him.

“Ige mwoya...” He giggled and tried to open the box but suddenly Seohyun stopped him.

“Najunghae, not now. Let’s order food first.”

They ate their dinner, and were drinking a glass of red wine. They had a good time. Yonghwa was thinking when should he propose her, but then she called him, and seemed to want to have a serious conversation.

“Oppa...”

“Wae???

“Let’s break up.”

“Ya, don’t joke about it.”

“Who is joking right now? I am really sorry, but let’s break up.”

“Ani, what do you mean?”

“Uri keunyang keumanhaeyo...”

“Wait... what? Why?”

“I am really sorry, and thank you for the past 5 years. Sorry to end our relationship in our anniversary.” Yonghwa still couldn’t believe.

“Ya... Seo Joohyun, it is not even funny. Just stop it here, and i will not mad with your lame joke.”

“That box is our memory together, I gave back to you.” Yonghwa opened the purple box in an instant, and found many things he shared memory with the girl in front of him.

Yonghwa just stared at her, too shocked to even say something.

“I give back to you, you can do whatever you want, either throw it or keep it. And...” she stopped when her tears rolled.

“And please give it back to me when I go back to you again, if you not throwing away that box, and if I go back. If I go back.”

Yonghwa who couldn’t comprehend anything started to angry.

“Uwah, daebak. If it is not a hidden camera I think I can’t forgive you. How can you say that? How can you asked me to return it to you when you can’t guarantee that you will be back? Are you making fun of me that I love you so much so that I can’t move on from you that I will keep the box forever? Are you kidding me?” Some eyes on the other table started to side eying them.

“Angry and do all things that can make you better Oppa. Hate me, I am fine.”

“yah... Seo Joohyun, you are daebak.”

“Jinjja mianhaeyo.” She cried.

“Aish, what am I supposed to do with you? How can I hate you? How can I angry with you? Why do you cry like I am the one who want to break up?”

Seohyun stood up, but he grabbed her arm.

“Are you serious? If you left me, it is really the end?” She just nodded.

“But why are you crying?” She kept silent and just sobbing. He hug her.

“If you have a problem, just tell me. I will forget this night. Eo?”

But Seohyun found her composure and broke the hug.

“I am really sure of my decision, Oppa. I just feel terrible for what I did tonight. This is really the end, please don’t contact me anymore, ne? I beg you. Take care of yourself and find someone a lot better than me. Ah, and I already paid the bill. Goodbye, Oppa.”

Yonghwa just stared at her figure leaving, still in disbelieve. He was really frustrated that she want a break up so suddenly, moreover on their anniversary and when he just want to propose her.

Note : Hiiii I am back with this fanfiction. I made a poll on my prev ff (“Our Story”, one of the chaptered ff i wrote on Yongseo oneshot+ stories) whether I should update my heart still belongs to you or wrote a new oneshot fic. And the result is... of course MHSBTY won, still I am updating this.

I am really sorry that I took some months to update, since my real life went hectic for some moments. And, I originally want to make  a one shot, but because I really want to update as soon as possible ,then I make it as a two parted stories. Okay, for the first part is mostly a flashback, and kinda sad, isn’t it ( Ah, and I am sorry for a short update!!)? Please anticipate what will happen on the second part!
