Exactly, a year ago, in this place, Seohyun should be on this aisle, be the most beautiful woman in her beautiful and elegant white wedding dress, with a princess-like hair do, bring a bouquet of flowers, walking with his dad towards her groom who wore a black tuxedo, looking so manly, to say their marriage vow.

I should sit on one of these long chairs, sadly watching the one i love make her wedding vow with another man. But as I had said to her, I didn’t attend her wedding, I really couldn’t, and she gave her permission – not that I need her permission, tough. I chose to take my holiday in Busan, my hometown, exactly a week after my meeting with her that afternoon. I didn’t want to always be in that sad love. At least I sent my wedding give. Enough, isn’t it?

And today, November 29th 2017, I am standing on the same aisle wearing a white suit inside a black tuxedo. I can feel all the eyes looking at me admiringly, wondering how a man can be this handsome and attractive, and of course, with a lil bit(or a lot) of jealousness. Ck, sorry for my overconfidence, but yes, I am confident enough. Hahaha. Waiting for my beautiful bride, I am feeling my own heart makes a loud sound, and with a fast tempo, just like a year ago when Seohyun, my first love, and I made a confession in the wrong time. Sorry, I can’t forget that tragedy even when I am waiting for this sacred moment of my life, with the woman who owns my whole heart.

This day, Seohyun shall sit on one of these chairs, as an invitee, beside a man named Kang Minhyuk, and maybe with their cute baby. Yes, she shall. Camera’s flashlight brings me back from my weird and wild imagination of my first love and makes me realize she is not there watching my sacred moment, just like me who didn’t watch hers.

Dreet... The big door opens slowly but surely. The sunlight shows its beautiful color through the opening door, pointing the way for my bride and her dad. It dazzles so much that I can’t catch the image of my soon to be family. The door opens widely, and I start seeing two little girl walking toward me, throwing some flower petals on the floor, and of course, behind them is the most beautiful women who links her arm to the man in his late 50s walking beside her.

Thanks God, you have sent me this beautiful, kind, perfect angel for me.

If someone asks me how beautiful my bride is, I really can’t answer. I can’t describe at all. She is the most beautiful woman I ever seen. Not only her appearance, but her inner beauty is on higher level. Moreover, inside that gown, she is totally shining brightly.

Step by step, they come closer toward me. Behind her sweet and shy smile, I can see a nervousness. Kyeopta... I can’t hide my own smile while looking at her. And finally, her dad puts her hand to mine, and he holds our hand tightly. I am really touched with his genuine smile.

“Take care of my daughter, Jung Yonghwa. Make her happy.”

“Ye, Abeonim.” I bow a little to Abeonim, until he left the aisle and sits on the bride’s parent’s chair.

Now, only my bride and I are on this aisle. We are facing each other, holding hands and exchanging our most happy smile, ready to say the vow.

“Seo Joohyun, are you ready to be the mother of my future children?”

“Nde, Oppa.”

Seo Joohyun’s POV

13 days before my wedding with Kang Minhyuk, a big accident happened. That afternoon, he and I just finished our last fitting session. But suddenly, a truck from the opposite direction lost its balance, and crashed with some cars, including ours. Long story short, I just got a severe bleeding and three bone fractures – 2 ribs and my left hand -. A matta, and 2 days of coma. Not something serious if you compare to what Minhyuk got: a complete bone fracture, and closed bleeding in his head. His backbone was also injured, resulting nerve damage. Two weeks of coma and he still didn’t show any better. So our marriage was delayed until the time no one knew. But the God said otherwise. After a month of struggling, Minhyuk surrendered. He left this world. I was, and still, really sad losing him, a kind heart person who takes care of me well, who I am sure can be my best friend of life even if I can’t love him wholeheartedly. But thanks to him, I can stand on this aisle with a man who really loves me, and most important, the man I really love to start a new chapter of my live.

Kang Minhyuk, are you watching this moment from the heaven? I will be happy forever, so you must rest well there. Sorry and thank you.

*It is not impossible that life will be so hard and sad, but you must believe that how hurt, how awful, how sad your life is, how cruel you feel the fate is, if something is really fated for you, if something is really meant for you, it will come. God has better plan for you.*
