As expected. There’s nothing better than watching the stars.
“You didn’t like the feast?”
“Oh my- Yah, Jeon Jung Kook! You scared me!”
“Hah... Sorry, I thought you’d have felt me.”
“Well, honestly, I wasn’t paying attention to my surrounding...”
“You’re tired.”
“Just a little bit. And you?”
“I’m good. And everyone is relaxing, relieving the stress, and regaining strengths.”
“Yeah, the feast was a really good idea.”
“I meant that you don’t need to worry about others. Even if I doubt you’ll be able to do that.”
“Oh... Okay.”
“You’re not fine, right?”
Nostalgia bloomed in my chest. I had always been coping with unpleasant things by looking at the stars. And Jung Kook had always been behind me, softly playing with my hair. However, I never thought I would be reminiscing our memories with him by my side. I had always been alone until now. It felt weird.
“You remember?” I asked, a tender smile stretching my lips.

He tensed when I buried my face in his neck. Then he relaxed. And he held me tighter. “Listen, Yong Gi. I know it’s not the right time. But I have to tell you this: I love you. It sounds awfully cliché, cheesy and cringey, but I think I never stopped loving you,” he murmured in my ear. “Maybe we won’t survive the next battle. And I don’t wan’t to go out to this battle without being able to touch you, feel you, smell you, and love you, whenever I want to, no matter how much I want to.” I swallowed a lump in my throat. “... I-Indeed... It’s not the right time...” “I’m sorry. I’m so selfish.” “Well... Everyone, Human, Creature, or animal, have a selfish side. Don’t worry. I do too.” I took a step back. Just enough to be able to face him. And gave his lips a quick peck. Jung Kook’s eyes became wider than saucers. He stuttered various unknown sounds before finally making a real sentence. “Does... that mean I’m your boyfriend?” “Maybe,” I grinned. “And maybe it means I’m your girlfriend.” The corners of his lips slowly went up. His bunny teeth appeared when a cute giggle escaped it. And we laughed together as if there was nothing wrong in the world. "I missed you too much,” he whispered. “I missed you too much too.” “Then... Can I get
