A/N: Hi! I'm (again) really sorry for being late (again)! I had family at home the week end before last week so I didn't write for 4/5 days, then I had a block (ugh!), then I kept on having other things to do like driving lessons, gardening or helping to set up a swimming pool. Haha that sounds ridiculous but it's true. Anyways, I'm happy because I'll have a fresh summer! Thank you, new subscriber(s)! Thank you, everyone, for waiting! One last thing! This a warning for non-explicit violence. Even though it's not explicit, I thought I needed to tell you I mention a bit of violence, in case if you're really easily triggered. I'm responsible for what I write, not what you read. So do what's best for you, dearies~   “My name is Park Ji Min.” He bowed his head. “You're... quite an unique group if I may say. But what do you want from me?” I explained everything. And he listened closely. With so much care actually, that I hadn't anticipated his answer at all. “I'm sorry. I refuse,” he said. “I'm an Angel of Light. And we don't fight, we heal.” He bowed once again. Then walked away. “Wow... Is this...how you felt when I rejected you?” Seok Jin looked surprised, watching the other young man disappear in a corner at the end of the alleyway. “Honestly? Worse,” I told him. “A lot worse,” then added Na Young. “At least he listened,” Nam Joon chimed in. “You didn't.” “Yeah. Alright, I understand. Please stop. I feel like a nail being hammered in a wall...” No one spoke for a moment. We knew this could happen but, even if it wasn’t the first time for some of us, it was still disconcerting. The silence was eventually broke by Ho Seok, eyes on me. “What should we do now?” I looked back to the end of the alley, where Ji Min had went. Something, a gut feeling, was bothering me. “First, get out town.” Yoon Gi replied. “Then find the last man.” “Is it really alright to give up so easily?” innocently asked Tae Hyung. “No,” I sighed. “But we can't force him either. Let's go.” We moved away from the city. Of course, where there wasn’t any people. I used the necklace to find the position of that last person, but it fell straight where we already were. Ho Seok bent a bit and flicked the stone. “You sure you did it correctly?” “I don’t have anything to do, the stone does everything on its own.” “G-Guys?” Na Young called shakily. “There’s something weird here...” We turned around and, indeed, the ground was moving strangely. It swelled up about two meters until a hole opened at the top and the soil was ripped apart from inside as if it was a piece of paper. Then, nine, at least three meters tall, hideous creatures came out. They had a blood-red skin, petrifying yellow eyes, long teeth and two dark horns on their foreheads. Seok Jin hissed. “Look at how lucky we are.” “What are they?!” I asked in panic, eyes popping out at the sight of those monsters. “Ogres,” replied Nam Joon. “You two have to hide.” I nodded frantically and followed Na Young behind trees. I hated it, having to hide, but this time there really wasn’t anything I could do. Staying near the boys would only put them in danger, as they would try to protect us. Na Young slightly pulled on my hand. “Do you know these things?” she interrogated. “No, my mom never said anything about them.” “I think I know why,” she snorted. “God, they remind me of the Oni in the Japanese folklore, and these are really gruesome!” Nam Joon rapidly spoke to the four men. They all nodded at once. Then the Ogres charged at them in a mess of roars and shouts. With a motion of two fingers from the ground upward, Ho Seok made supple branches come out of the soil and surround one of the Ogres tightly. Seok Jin focused on another one. His lips moved as fast as they could, then a symbol, that looked like the runes you could find in magic books, appeared under the monster’s feet, blocking all its attempt at moving. The smoke effusing from Yoon Gi’s body spread to a third Ogre and stopped it in its hysterical running. It was a bit dizzy for a second, but quickly shook its massive head and growled loudly. Nam Joon was their attacker. A sword in both hands, he moved faster than light between the three red giants and, one by one, beheaded them in sharp moves. Meanwhile, Tae Hyung was trying to distract the remaining four Ogres with fire winds, balls or walls. He was able to block two of them. However, the other two monsters started walking away from the fight. They smelled the air with low groans, until their yellow eyeballs focused on us. “Run!!” shouted the Haetae. But I barely had the time to spin around, before an Ogre heavily landed in front of us. We were blown meters away by the impact. We ended up rolling on the ground uncontrollably, for a distance that seemed to have no end. And when we finally stopped, Na Young was lying still, covered with soil, leaves and dust. I hurried to her side on all fours and yelled at the girl, “Na Young-ah! You hear me?? Oi! Kim Na Young!!” Her face twisted in pain. Then relaxed slightly. I was a Creature, even if it was only by half, and Creatures had a physical resistance superior to Humans. So I was alright. But Na Young was knocked out. ! F**k those monsters!! The Ogre roared, emitting a blaring noise, and charged at

Chapter 24: This is my first comment after more than halfway through the story hehe. I just want to say i really enjoyed reading this. Your writing style is neat and simple. Not too simple tho, the amount of explanation is just right.
And yes, we love to see some progression with yoongi lol
