A Deity corrupted by darkness and eaten by greed desires to rule over a world of terror. He is creating an army, to reach his dreadful aim. Daughter of The Creator, the Goddess is our only light of hope. Her most loyal companions are waiting, and together they will gather the bravest Creatures to oppose the malice. But they shall beware. For the real threat is in the shadow.     My first morning at the village was very calm; I saw the forest's inhabitants slowly wake up, one by one, animals and elves. As always birds were chirping, kids were playing, and everything was peaceful. Only my mind was a bit messy, busy reflecting on what I had learned the night before: Yeoshin's companions were her closest friends. Soon after she passed away, there was a fight that killed five, almost six of them. There could have been three survivors, but that fifth man died later due to fatal injuries and the sixth fell in an eternal slumber because of an evil spell. He wasn't exactly dead, just deeply asleep. And the last man, who really was alive, it was Seok Jin. According to the Shaman's interpretation of the prophecy, I needed to search those men. But how could I found dead persons? Well, it seemed like I was the new Yeoshin, as I was the vessel to her powers (this was what Fyhdohr meant by reincarnation; there was no such a thing as coming back to life, even in Creatures' world), and to go with the new Goddess were new companions. Though, the Shaman said that she didn't know anything about them or where they were, beside the fact that they lived in Korea, and could only affirm that I had already met four of them. When I asked how I'll be able to find or recognize my companions, the old elf pointed a finger at my chest and explained something in Elvish. Looking down, my first reaction was to wonder what my s had to do with this, but then a drawing slowly appeared, line by line, right above them. With a gasp, I had pressed my back in the chair and nervously grabbed the armrests. “Calm down. This is a rune, acting as a seal for your magic. It will shine when you are near your companions to help you recognize them. But right now, it's locked. The Shaman could make it appear, though, only you can activate it,” had translated Seok Jin. Apparently, I wasn't able to see the rune before because there was a disappearance spell, which the Shaman lifted, on. It was visible to Creatures close to me only. “Yong Gi-yah!” suddenly called Ji Soo. “The Oppaz want to see you! You're awake?” If you scream like that, of course, Unni... “Come in,” I answered lazily after a big yawn. Nam Joon entered with Yoon Gi and Seok Jin. They sat on the chairs that had stayed there since I first woke up. “You look horrible,” commented the goblin as he made circles around my face with his finger. “And I barely slept so I'm in a terrible mood too. Don't get on my nerves or I'll chop your jewels,” I spat; for me, no sleep equaled murderer-mode on... Yeah. I was really grumpy. He scoffed and pointed at Nam Joon, “At least you didn't have to endure his snores. I thought I was sleeping with a beast...” “You slept together? Daebak. That means you had time to learn to get along, how nice!” “Nope. I had assassination thoughts all night...” The angel turned to him, “You wanna start the Anlin War once again?” “What is the “Anlin War”? ” “ “An” from “Angel”, “lin” from “Goblin”: a war between our peoples in Middle Age. Some say that Goblins attacked Heaven to destroy it because they were jealous of our link with Deities, and some say that, on the opposite, Angels attacked Goblins because they were jealous and worried about their fighting strength. That’s why Angels and Goblins aren’t on really good terms.” “I wonder if my Dad is old enough to have lived during Middle Age...” Nam Joon nodded, “He could.” Sung Yoon, an angel... And my Mom??” “Your Mom was Human and you're an Hybrid,” replied the angel. “When she was twenty five, she almost got in a car accident but was saved by her Guardian Angel. She fell in love at first sight. And he had been loving her from long before they even met, which is why he saved her when he wasn't supposed to,” he explained, “Because Destiny has to flow, Guardian angels are, in certain situations, not allowed to help the human they're looking over. But humans and angels aren't allowed to be together, and an human with its guardian is even more forbidden. Yet, despite the High Angels' warnings, your parents stayed together and avoided them. Then you were born about a year later.
