A/N: This chapter has 2 parts because the piece of the story for it was too long to put it only in 1 part. Also, the order of appearance of the members in the chapters has nothing to do with their importance in the story, they all are kind of equal. AAAAAND, YNWA!!!!!!!!!! Spring Day and Not Today are just amazing! I’m a bit sad that the promotions are already finished but it was really cool performances!
From the time Humans discovered the existence of Creatures, they started to fear Evil presences, believing that these shadows appearing furtively, these beings who were human-looking, but too inhuman to be like them, were the daughters and sons of the Devil, Satan, and meaning to harm them- destruct their villages, kill the men, take the women as theirs or eat the children. But the truth is that they were just Creatures, who were passing by, or observing them live, as most creatures find an interest in it. Some of these creatures were Goblins, what we call “demons”. They are lonely creatures, who know really well what they want: tranquility. And contrary to the beliefs, goblins don’t harm humans. They are not really interested in us. Yet, it is true that some of them do like to fight, that they are strong and, as one of the strongest kind among Creatures, they could be some of the most valorous warriors on Earth. When the young me commented that they seemed scary, Mom smiled and said, “Don’t fear them. They have strong ethics and hold pride in them. They fight among themselves because they enjoy to show their strengths and battling, but never would they attack you. It’s forbidden.” I didn’t talk to anyone about what happened yesterday Normally, I would’ve because Hwa Sa and Jun Young would have believed me- they were my adoptive parents, Mom’s childhood and best friends, who kindly took me in when she left, as if everything was planned. Like when they came to pick me up after school, saying Mom couldn’t come, and she had a car accident an hour later… Anyways. I would’ve talked about it. But it was just too strange… Why didn’t the couple see the young man? And why did he suddenly disappeared like a firework after it blew up in the sky? It didn’t make any sense. Unless the vanilla milk I had drunk at the library was spoiled and I dreamed all this? The Deities were saying that she was ready, but maybe they were wrong, thought the angel as he watched his protégé put her bag on the bench, sitting cross-legged on the roof of the gymnasium behind it. Should I wait a bit before appearing again? He secretly watched over the girl the whole day, from afar, while she was in class, chatting with her friend, eating at the cafeteria, or taking the bus to go home. And he had planned to do the same the next day, and the days coming after, letting her forget a bit about him and what had happened, to try another approach But then, the next evening, he noticed a shadow sliding on the ground, before stopping two meters from her. It was, without any doubt possible, a creature, and he didn’t quite like it. He jumped from the building’s roof he was standing on, landing next to the shadow. “Hey. What are you doing, goblin?” he asked sharply, and felt the eyes of the creature turn to his direction before disappearing. “What does he want…” The angel turned his attention back to Yong Gi. She was done chatting with her friend and got on the bus that had just arrived to take her home. And he followed her, sitting by her side. She looked up at him from her phone, seemingly ready to greet. But when she saw who was installed there, she almost gasped, when he said, “Don’t move.” And she weirdly felt the need to listen to him. “You’re the only one who can see me right now. So unless you want to seem crazy like yesterday, just turn your head back.” What the hell is he doing here, this disgusting ert! he heard her think. I really will have to talk about this later… the angel thought to himself. “Until when are you going to follow me?” “I already told
