The long ritual of waking up the slumbering demon, Astaroth finished without issues. Astaroth had woke up before Jihyo who was still unconscious on the bed. Jihyo had exhausted her mana and wasted her mental strains for forcing the past memories unsealed. Amila kept pacing around the room, sometimes wiping Jihyo’s forehead and Astaroth sat beside her on the bed, holding her hand. He never let it go and stubbornly stayed there although Amila had said that she would take care of her.

Since then, only 5 days had passed. Amila had watched Jihyo unsealed the great demon in a day. She did not know how she felt though. She once heard that unsealing a great demon was a painful process and was like stepping into the Death Valley. It was said that people who wanted to unlock the seal would feel terrible pain that last for at least fifty days. Jihyo had spent only one day, giving her body shivers. She also had noted that people who unlock the seal had a different time frame from the people uninvolved. Amila may have felt that a day had passed but for the one involved, time passed very fast and the pain increased. She knew about it and felt a pang of guilt because she had forgot to tell her the crucial information.

Astaroth looked at her. Amila immediately knelt before him. “She’s waking up. I can feel it.” He said while Amila fasten her walk to Jihyo’s room. As soon as she arrived there, Astaroth had long been there. She was shocked but cannot deny the power he possessed being worthy of a great demon.

“Jihyo…” He called her.

“Asherah…”

Jihyo woke up, and laid on the pillow which had been raised up to support Jihyo’s back as she sat while looking at the demon in front of her. Jihyo pondered about something and after a while, she stared at him. Her stare had a soft look and the so-called demon himself was all gentle and meek in front of her. She did not speak anything and looked at the outside scene. The magnificent symbol of the demon was up in the sky, signaling the awake of Astaroth. It was said that before the demons either perished or went into slumber, a great Deva named Pashimel sealed a part of her power inside the demons for when the demon awaken, their symbol will soar up in the sky. Astaroth symbol was too great to emerge. Even Pashimel power is too lacking to do so. The dragon up in the sky roared and the majestic serpent with red scales rose up in the sky. The pressure was tremendous as the creature of forest folks were shaken. Some trembled in fear and knelt towards the symbol. Amila too unable to withstand the sight and fell on the floor. Jihyo just sneered. With this, she would be able to avenge herself. If the whole country went against her, she would make sure to fight until the country turned into ashes and rubbles.

Astaroth softly touched her cheek and his symbol appeared on Jihyo’s forehead. He chuckled and picked her hand to kiss on. Jihyo was flustered for a moment but then appeared majestic as she patted the silver hair which fascinated her interest.

“How long have I been unconscious?” She asked.

“5 days.” He replied short but his voice is as sweet as honey.

“People will realise you have been awaken. What you would do about the

Chapter 10: So Jihyo freed Astaroth, right? I thought the name Astaroth really fits well as he's the most powerful demon, from your dictionary, which you explain the sephiroth and qliphoth, as both mean the high level. What confuse me is, is Astaroth is actually a demon? Or was he originally an angel? Isn't white symbolizes angel? "His wings which originally pure white had been dyed black; the colour of the God he had been serving." actually told me that he's originally an angel. Did he betray or did they betrayed him? And... How did Astaroth then get the name of Jimin? Did Jihyo named him, after saving him? The part "You came" made my heart fluttered. It wasn't even romantic but it felt so real. Gosh I can't wait for the next update! I can't wait for all the questions to get answers! Take all your time you need, authornim. I know the struggle. Good luck in your job :)

Mannnn, I just love fantasy and I loveeee when Jihyo got paired with younger guys I don't even know why I ship her with younger guys tho hahaha. She just seems perfectly fit with younger guys.
