Can't they survive a day without us?
Jar of secrets“How important is what you lost for you to attack us? We don’t know what you are talking about. Namjoon was the only one who was patiently waiting for his mate, but you brought Jin to him. It doesn’t make sense.”
“He stole my heart.” She answered with a cracky voice. “Now my child is in an induced sleep because of him.”
“It’s not our fault, lady,” Jackson growled. “Everyone here has its mate and has no reason to look for it.” She looked coldly at him, before looking at me. She moved her hand, moving me towards her. She placed me in front of her. She started mumbling some words. I started feeling a strong pain in my head and it spread along my whole body. I couldn’t scream not move. I felt something being ripped from me and I felt exhausted to the ground.
“Mina.” I looked up and held my breath.
“Rose.” I stood up slowly and looked in the eyes of the spirit who had been a part of my new life. “How?” Rose herself was surprised. As we looked at each other, both remembered an important detail and looked back. Yoongi was trying to keep a blank face, but he couldn’t hide his surprise.
“I guess you’re coming with me.” We looked at her confused. She smiled and I understood everything.
“Rose.” She looked at me. “You’re the missing mate.” She seemed to think the same as me.
“That means that Jihoon has her heart.” It was so weird to hear my voice coming from another person.
“Finally, you seem to understand that it is all your fault.” Rose started walking towards her, obviously against her will. I looked at Jin and nodded.
He threw the powder into the air and used his hurt wings to aim the woman. I pulled Rose back when I felt the woman’s power over me vanish. My mind was running wild to find a solution because I had definitely not in my mind that Rose would come out of my body. I looked up. Jin was flying away, holding Ara and Jimin while Mark and Tae were falling down.
“Mina. You have to stick to the plan. That woman wants me and if she has met, she’ll leave you alone for some time. Meanwhile, you’ll look for Jihoon and save me.” I was about to protest, but she stopped me. “You know I’m right. Just go.” I was reluctant but nodded.
“GUYS, RUN!” I shouted. I opened my wings and started flying. I managed to catch Mark and Taehyung. They held my hand with a strong grip. My wings gave up for a few seconds, but to fall wasn’t an option. I looked down and saw Rose being locked up in a sphere. I closed my eyes and flew away, feeling guilty for leaving a friend behind. I pulled the guys up forcing them to hug me and got higher. I flew for some time despite the additional weight and the fact that I had never flown for so long. I looked at my passenger. Tae was with his closed while Mark was watching everything amazed. However, I started getting tired and looked for a place to land. I chose a high building and landed on it perfectly.
“Are you okay?” I asked, especially looking at Mark.
“I could have been better,” Taehyung asked while Mark only nodded.
“Mark, I know it is a lot to assimilate, but I’ll explain to you everything. Could you please tell me how you’re feeling? You just got thrown in a world you thought was imaginary.”
“I guess I’m overwhelmed. I saw a wolf turning into a man, a woman using magic, an angel and you turning into a Fenix. I just… I just…” I hugged him tightly and felt his tears on my clothes.
“Everything’s going to be alright, Mark. We are here to help you.” He nodded but hugged me tighter. “But now we need to find the others. Do you think you can manage it or do you want to go home?”
“I can manage it.” He let go and he smiled briefly.
“Then hold me again. We need to find Jin and others.” They obeyed me. I flew for a few minutes before seeing them in Namsan Seoul Tower.
“Thank god you’re all okay.” I hugged them. “Taehyung, could you please howl for Jackson to hear you? And Ara, could you try and contact the others?”Both of them nodded. I looked at Jin who was sitting on the floor. “How are you feeling?”
“Exhausted, hurting and happy for finding you.” He smiled.
“I would hug you, but that would only hurt you more.”
“I think I can take care of him from now on.” In a matter of seconds, Minnie, Ara and Taehyung were next to me forming a wall between Jin and the stranger.
“Who are you and why do you think we’ll let you take Jin away from us?” Ara asked, feeling overprotective of him.
“He’s a friend, Ara. How did you find me, Eunwoo?” Jin asked while getting up with Mark’s help.
“I haven’t seen you since yesterday. I was looking for you. While flying around, I saw this girl and decided to follow her.” The angel explained. “We need to go.”
“No, Jin stays,” Minnie whined. I simply looked down as the inevitable was going to happen.
“He has to, Minnie,” Tae explained to her. I could feel the tears build up.
“Don’t worry, guys. I know where you live. I’ll visit you when I’m fully recovered. I promise.”
‘Come on, Mina. Hold it back.’
“It was nice to meet you. There’s no need to hold your tears back, Mina.” I looked up and he smiled at me. “I’ll be back. You know I will eventually come back. I can’t hide from him now that he has seen me. That would be too cruel and I’m an angel.” I laughed slightly.
“Can’t you at least wait until he arrives? He will be crushed if he doesn’t find you with us.” Jin looked at the guy and nodded.
“Jin. You can’t.” Taehyung and I ended up growling at him. I was surprised to hear a growl coming out of me.
“Eunwoo, she’s right. They teach us that we should help any supernatural being to find its soulmate because it would increase the chances of peace in the world. Emotions hit us stronger than they hit humans. I just want to tell him that I’m not running away. Rejection is a feeling that makes people do crazy things and I don’t even want to think about that possibility.” Eunwoo nodded, defeated. He put Jin down again and started healing his wounds.
“Taehyung. Ara.” They nodded. Each one did what I said and the others would be here in a matter of minutes.
“What creature are you? I can’t recall learning about your kind.”
“It’s none of your business,” I answered coldly. I knew I was being childish, but the fact
