“MINA! WAIT!” I stopped and watched Mark running towards me.

“Hi, Mark.” I smiled.

“Are you going to school?”

“Where else would I go at this hour?” I .

“You know what I mean. Last time, you were waiting for someone.”

“If you want us to walk together to school, we can go together. My boyfriend should come with me, but something came up.” I said. It felt good to call Yoongi my boyfriend and couldn’t help but smile. We started walking.

“You have a boyfriend? Do I know him?” He asked curiously.

“I don’t know if you know him. And it isn’t neither Jinsun nor Mingyu.”

“How did you know I was thinking that?” He asked surprised.

“It was so obvious. They are just my friends.”

It was so weird to walk to the classroom without them by my side. I ignored my classmates’ looks and sat down.

“Do you know the news?” Mark scared the hell out of me and I ended up choking. He hit my back to help.

“You can’t scare people like this when they are eating.” I scolded him.

“Sorry. It’s just that I’m very excited.”

“Why?” I asked.

“Because you were accepted in the feminine basketball team. Why didn’t you tell me that you tried the tests?” He seemed angry.

“I forgot?” I said unsurely. “What are you doing here anyway? Shouldn’t you be with your friends?” I tried to change the subject.

“I couldn’t just leave you alone. I wouldn’t be a good friend if I do so.” He answered. “How was your holiday?”

“It could have been better. I was sick.”

“That’s not cool at all. Will you be offended if I tell you how awesome was mine?” I shook my head and he started telling me about his holiday in the States where he was originally from. I was thankful that Mark was by my side during the lunchtime.

My day was quite lonely, but I didn’t feel sad as expected when the school ended and Yoongi wasn’t waiting for me as usual.

A group of people caught my attention. Among the heads, I saw something red. Following my instincts, I approached the crowd and made my way to the middle. I couldn’t believe my eyes. 

“Maenalispa,” I called Minnie by her real name and she looked around searching for the person who called her. Her long hair was reaching her legs again despite the cut we had given her when we had met for the first time. She was wearing a jogging and a simple white t-shirt. It didn’t surprise me that she was trembling. It was raining and cold and she was dressed as if we were in spring. I took out my coat and approached her. I used my umbrella to protect her from the rain and gave her my coat.

“Maena.” I used her nickname.

“You me know?” I was surprised that she could speak our language. On our first meeting, we had had to ask Aquarina for help in order to understand each other.

“The right way to ask is ‘Do you know me?’. Repeat.” I corrected her and smiled because I didn’t lose the habit to correct her.
