"Saranghae Alice" he said smiling a bright smile at me. I frowned at him.

How could you love a person if you didn’t even know them?

"I'm really sorry but... I don't know who you are," I admitted, biting my bottom lip and looking him over. He was about half a foot taller than I was and he was pretty cute for somebody dressed so strangely, but I couldn’t remember meeting him before.

The boy just stared at me for a second and before bursting out laughing.

"Of course you don't know me! This is the first time we’ve met!" He giggled, putting me back down on the ground again. He held my arm for a few seconds to make sure I could retain my balance, and then he patted me on the head. "Alice is so cute~!"

I frowned at him again.

"If we just met, how can you say you love me? You hardly even know me." I asked. My head throbbed and I couldn't tell if it hurt from the fall or from the confusion.

He squinted his eyes and seemed to be thinking hard about his answer. After about a minute he shrugged his shoulders and his smile appeared again.

"I don't know why I love Alice..." he said slowly. "I just do!"

Before I could say anything in reply, the boy picked me up again and began to carry me away. I looked around, and for the first time I actually realized where I was.

We were in a big dirt room almost the size of a house, kind of like some human-sized rabbit’s hole. Placed in the exact center of the room, there was a large table with a little glass vial containing pink liquid sitting on top of it. On the far side of the hole was a door so small, it looked like only a mouse could get through.

'This defiantly isn't a normal rabbit hole.'

"Where are we?" I asked the boy. He rolled his eyes at me playfully while smiling his brilliant, shining smile.

"We're in a hole of course!"

I scowled at him. 'As if I couldn't figure that one out myself.'

"You're face is gonna get stuck like that if you keep frowning at me." The boy laughed, poking my cheek. He set me down on the table and put both his hands on either side of me, pinning me to the table and leaving no room for my escape. "Besides, Alice is so pretty when she smiles!"

I looked at his arms around me, feeling a light blush was over my cheeks, but I couldn’t help but smile. His child-like cuteness was enough to make anyone giddy.

"See, I told you so." he giggled, leaning in close to me. His face was just a few inches from mine and I could feel his warm breath on my lips. The blood rushed to my cheeks, brightening my blush. I could feel butterflies fly in my stomach, wondering what was going to happen next when suddenly he put the glass vial to my lips and poured the pink liquid down my throat.

"Drink this." he whispered as he pulled the vial away from my lips. It tasted of pure sugar but danced on my tongue almost like magic, making my taste buds tingle. I swallowed the sweet liquid and my stomach started to feel funny.

Before I knew what was going on, I began to shrink. Smaller and smaller I shrunk, right into the ground. I shrunk until I was about the size of a rodent and the mouse door didn't look so tiny to me anymore.

"Alice is so small now! You're even cuter~!" He giggled, leaning down to pick me up in the palm of his hand. I gasped, realizing my clothes hadn't shrunk with me and the only thing covering my body was the lace on the collar of my dress.

"Wait!" I screamed at him, my voice coming out as a squeak. "Look the other way, I don't have any clothes!"

"S-sorry!" The boy blushed and turned around so his back was to me. I grabbed a piece of the dress and began to rip it apart, creating a make-shift dress from pieces of cloth. I made sure all of my body was covered before I allowed him to turn around again. He took a look at me and laughed at my messy dress. "We'll need to get you some clothes once we get to my house. Just wait for a second!"

He put the vial of pink liquid to his lips now, and drank from it slowly. He began to shrink just like I had until he was a normal size to me again. For some reason, his tight fitting clothes stayed tight and shrunk just like he did, almost as if they were a part of him.

"Now we're both small!" he squeaked, taking my hand in his. "Shall we?"

He started leading me toward the mouse door when all my common sense suddenly hit me. Where were we going? Who is he? Do I trust him?

My curiosity wanted me to follow him, just to take a peek at what magical thing could possibly lie behind that door, but the more sensible side of me needed to know these things before moving on.

"Wait." I urged, pulling him back. He stumbled back a little but regained his balance, blinking at me curiously. "I still don't know anything. I don't even know your name, or where we are."

"Oh, that's right!" he said, lightly smacking himself in the forehead. "I was so excited to see you I forgot to tell you my name! No Minwoo at your service, Miss Alice."

Minwoo bowed and brought the back of my hand to his lips, kissing it gently. I felt the blood rush to my cheeks once again and I smiled at him. I couldn’t help but feel trusting of him, like I’d known him my whole life even if, in reality, I’d only known him for about ten minutes.

"My name is Alice, but of course you already know that." I rolled my eyes at him. "Where are we No Minwoo? And don't try to tell me we're in a hole because I can obviously see that for myself."

"Please, Alice, call me Minwoo." he asked, pulling a key out of his pocket. He unlocked the mouse sized door and pushed it open slowly. "And this... is Wonderland."

Despite all the questions that were still racing in my head, I finally let my curiousity take over and I peeked through the mouse door. On the other side was like nothing I could’ve ever imagined in any dream. It was a whole new world that was bright with an array of colors, filled with flowers and plants I had never seen before. My breath caught in my throat as I stood there gaping at the beauty of the place Minwoo called 'Wonderland'.

"Let me show you the world, Alice." Minwoo whispered into my ear, his breath tickling my neck. He gripped my hand tightly as pulled me through the mouse door into Wonderland. 

This re-write thing is actually going pretty quickly so far OwO I can't change much to the first few chapters cause they're pretty important to the original plot, so the only real difference in this chapter 2 re-write was that I made it about 400 words longer xD It was so short before, I just made it a lil better wording-wise.

And I know I should probably put a Minwoo gif here since this IS Minwoo's chapter, but I found this picture on tumblr and I need to share it...
