Kyungwon’s not normally this serious, and on the occasion that she is, people don’t normally take her seriously.

So when she takes both of Minkyung’s hands in hers, face near expressionless as she gazes into Minkyung’s eyes and says, “Don’t ever fall in love with me.” Minkyung’s heart drops.

She’s speechless, trying to find words and ask her why, to fight for them, because this is so different from the things she’s been hearing from the blonde for the past few weeks.

“But-”

Kyungwon doesn’t give her a chance, “I’ll learn how to make origami just so I can make you a crane every morning and lay it gently on your forehead so when you wake up and roll over you crush it and feel bad that you did that.”

Minkyung’s speechless, but instead of her heart dropping, it’s her head. She faceplants the table, letting out a groan as Kyungwon gently squeezes her hands.

“Don’t ever fall in love with me.” She repeats.

“You’re so stupid,” Minkyung turns her head to glance up at the other girl, and she can’t help but roll her eyes. “It’s already too late for that.”

“Don’t say I didn’t warn you,” a small smile finds its way onto Kyungwon’s face.

The next morning Minkyung rolls over, whining as she feels something rough against her forehead. She can hear Kyungwon cackling as she lays on her side, rubbing the sleep from her eyes and notices a crushed paper crane.

“Oh my god.” Minkyung tosses the crumpled paper at Kyungwon’s face.

Kyungwon’s still laughing when she scoots closer to shower Minkyung’s face with kisses “I love you too.”
