"Unni, is omma not coming back tonight? Does omma not love us anymore?" Nana who was standing near the sofa asked timidly
Bekah gently put down the broom she was holding on to, and with slow and careful steps, she walked over to Nana. She hugged the younger girl. Bekah didn't know how to answer those questions.
Bekah was unsure of what was going on. The two sisters were in school and when they came home, the house was in a mess. Their appa was in her room, crying and refuses to come out and talk to them. Their omma wasn't in the house. There were broken pieces of glass on the floor.
"Of course omma loves us. Maybe appa and omma just need some time away from each other."
