"Is it me? What is wrong with me?" Irene sobbed. She buried her face in his chest. "Why is it always like this with me?"

Changsub held her close as she cried. "Of course it's not your fault, Bae. It's just not meant to be." He rubbed her back softly.

"They never stick around. Three months, six months.. nobody gets past six months." She mumbled against his neck. "There must be something wrong with me if nobody ever stayed after six months."

"Let's look at the bright side. At least you are getting on with new ones every six months." His joke was met with a sharp watery glare from the lady encircled in his arms. "I'm sorry. Bad joke." He put her head back on his chest.

"Maybe I should stop looking." Irene was no longer crying but she was content to lay her head on his chest while the both of them were lying on her bed. "Maybe the right person will just come to me when I'm not aware."

"Or, you can stop looking for the right person, and just enjoy the person that you were with at the moment." He said absently. She raised her head to look at him.

"What do you mean?"

"Look Bae. You know I love you right? As your friend, it is my duty to give you some advice.." He started.

"No, that's Joy's duty. Yours is to hug me and soothe me when I'm sad." That shut him up. For a moment.

"You know. As your friend, it is my RIGHT to tell you that you are doing this all wrong." Irene sighed at his words. "You want to know the reason why those guys left you?" She shot him a glare at his choice of word. "Okay, do you want to know the reason why all these did not work out?" He amended. She nodded. He got up to a sitting position and ge
