The Sun King"Um, Yunho?" Changmin asks tentatively, carefully putting down his knife and fork. Yunho looks up from his food with a raise of his eyebrows. Changmin takes this as a cue to continue.
"I wanted to ask if we could forget what happened this morning." Changmin runs the back of his neck sheepishly. "I thought about what you said, and I regret my actions. If it's not too late, can we be friends?"
Yunho freezes, fork halfway to his mouth. Cautiously, he sets it down and raises his head, eyes neutral.
"I cannot accept your friendship if it is not sincere," he says slowly. "You are staying for a week. By the end of your visit, I shall give you a definite answer."
Changmin bows his head in acknowledgement. "I see. Thank you for reconsidering."
Yunho only nods and stands up, pushing back his chair. Then, without glancing at Changmin, he leaves, sweeping out of the heavy door, red cloak trailing behind him.
